This option was never offered to me at check-in."

Probably would have missed the connection if our 26 year old son didn't run ahead. Too much drama and no one from swiss air to help. Suggest more time for transfer in the future or someone to guide passengers. We were nit the only ones. However, we did make it as did the others ( luggage too!)so kudos to swiss for waiting"

Also, LH like many others continues to serve cold rolls and cold butter on international flights. KLM warms the rolls! It’s the one small touch that would make Lufthansa’s meal service so much nicer."

The service was average considering i had to keep asking the staff to atore my son's insuline medication in a cool place, they said they cannot at 1st but eventually they did. The entertainment system had to be rebooted 3 times during the flight which takes 15 to 20 minutes. So it took 3 hrs to finish the movie. The connection flight was a bit redicilous, 1 hr to walk to the other terminal in frankfurt, the 1 hr flight delay , the boarding was like a zoo, no initiative to take control and organize the boarding, the elderly and the children and crammed withe other passengers.."

Prós: "Flight was on par with other budget airlines. No frills means not having the extras."
Contras: "Paid for premium seat not really worth it. Less leg room and no convienent storage."

We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

Prós: "Check-in was quick, only 4 parties ahead of me even though I arrived at the airport only 60 minutes prior to departure. Cleared security quickly too. Aircraft new and clean. Breakfast, excellent omelet, and crew extremely attentive to our needs- offering 2 drinks instead of other airlines which just give one and makes you feel that is all you deserve."

Getting in an airplane where people are trying to find a place for their belongings, not finding any and clogging the way."

Actually, when I noticed this from you twice, I had an embression that the passport nationality harms you.... Any way, thank you."

Prós: "The employees were very helpful and friendly. Food was not worse than what one can expect of an airline (about as “good” as a US airline’s, which is not a high standard to beat). The plane seemed recent and clean."
Contras: "The major problem was the lack of detail on their luggage policy. I am sure they can show the text clearly warning me about the fees for bringing a piece of luggage per person, but I missed it. Therefore, they charged me $35 per person for their registered bag. That’s probably how they “beat” their competitors’ prices. If you include the fees in your calculation, this might still be a good option, but make sure that you read the fine print, or be prepared to pay as “extra” what many airlines offer as basic."

Prós: "Once we landed in Athens, knowing that our next flight would be taking off in 5 minutes, we thought ther was no way that we'd make it. Instead, they had someone waiting for us when we got off of the flight and someone to run all 11 of us through the airport to the plane. Aegean held the flight because they knew 11 people from the Santorini flight were coming."
Contras: "Once on the plane, we ended up sitting there for another 30 minutes, even though it was already 20 minutes late waiting for us. When I asked the stewardess whether that meant that our bags were going to make the flight she said she'd have to check. She never came back. I then asked a second girl and she said that she'd have to check and she never came back. I finally asked again before landing and she supposedly went and asked someone and came back and said yes they made it. Got to baggage claim - no bags. We had another flight to catch back to the states, so we didn't have time to figure out the situation. We spent the next three days frantically calling Aegean, to no avail. Their customer service either wouldn't answer or would tell us to call London Heathrow lost and found, who wouldn't answer. Eventually, Delta found our bags and had to work with Lufthansa and their own boots on the ground at LHR to find the bags and get them back to us."

Prós: "I love flying Aegan - it is always comfortable and pleasant. Due to my own mistake I didn't order a kosher/vegetarian meal, which is why I rated the food "N/A". On flights this short there are no entertainment options which is fine I suppose :) overall, this is one of my favorite airlines to fly! Thanks!"

Contras: "The actual booking for the flight was most confusing.I book flights on various other airlines and they seem more straight forward than Aegean .So much so I only found out the day before our flight that we had,nt booked our suitcases in and it needed a phone call to Athens to sort it out"

Prós: "The flight was completely full so they offered to check in the larger pieces of carry-on luggage for free. On board the plane, the breakfast was really excellent (plane food-wise) and the attendants were very friendly. In terms of comfort, I was lucky to sit in row 3 (yes, that was Economy class), so I actually had some leg room. On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

Prós: "Nothing to like. Do book through kayak or priceline."
Contras: "Everything. Policies to lack of standards, to booking with kayak or price. Pay 25% more not to book this airline and not on kayak or priceline, it's worth the extra cash not to book through these companies of thieves."

Contras: "When I purchased the ticket the site stated one bag checked was includEd. But when we checked in we were told we had to pay an additional 35 euros per bag. We did not expect the additional expense."

Prós: "first they announced 10 min delay, then they could not find the crew, after they appeared delay was extended to 45 min we left about 50 min late. gained some time in flight and arrived 35 min late. first batch of luggage came out relatively early and then there was a break of over 20 min before the luggage started to come out again, just as if somebody decided to have a coffee break."

Prós: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Contras: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Contras: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Contras: "Other members of the crew were snarky to passengers and dismissive of questions from passengers during the early stages of the delay. We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

Contras: "The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Prós: "Traveled fron SFO to CDG on AF in business class on an A 380. Lounge in SFO was smallish and not many choices in the food bar. Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."
Contras: "Arriving in CDG and facing a slow immigration with the passengers of this huge plane. I didn't care for the baggage delivery system. We were waiting for an hour only to realize that the arrival port for our luggage was changed."

Contras: "Not even complimentary tap water offered. Horrific boarding method and rude staff shouting at people who were waiting patiently. Very likely they will take your carryon even if you comply with requirements, but after you go through the process of security, which is irritating. If they need space they should offer upon check in."

Contras: "Took forever to check in. I know they were under strike at that time but then after waiting for so long and just making our flight, they sent my luggage to Seville Spain. It took 3 full days for me to get my luggage. I contacted via Facebook and email and basically just got the response of I have to wait until it arrives at the airport and the best advice they could give was to call the Seville airport. I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

Prós: "We were sent to Kiwi booking to complete the ticket booking. Flight was canceled due to strike but we weren’t informed this till at the airport. This is likely because airline only has Kiwi contact info and never reached to us. Kiwi also didn’t inform us. We were stuck at airport for 6 hours trying to contact airline. Phone can’t be reached. We talked ied WhatsApp Facebook tweeter. All takes like one hour to get response. In the end flights can’t be rescheduled we had to book new flights ourselves and find hotel to stay. They won’t cover for hotel either. The flights refund is now funded to Kiwi which we also need to find time to argue with Kiwi to get back. DOnt know how long that may take. The overall experience has been terrible"
Contras: "Transavia should have more capacity to hold customers requests. The representative from Transavia at airport provide absolutely no help. Just told us to WhatsApp Transavia. If that’s the approach then more people should be there responding WhatsApp comments not like no response within one hour. Kiwi is of no help as well. If flights get canceled agents should provide us updates as well. When we contacted kiwi in the airport Kiwi even denied flight cancel."

Calling them didn't help as the call center has no ability to change anything on your booking. At the kiosk they charged us double to check our bags because that's just how that works, even though their website ate our credit card information and didn't give us an ability to pay for luggage before check in online. The whole experience has made me decide to never use them ever again."
