Prós: "I took my girlfriend on her first airplane ride! The flight was bumpless from wheels to wheels. The Pilots did a fantastic job! Thank you so much for a remarkable first plane trip! THEN!!!! The have Buffalo Trace Bourbon! I mean.... what else do you need ?!"

Prós: "I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to text via free WiFi in the sky. Oddly, this same service is unable to be acquired, once you’re in the United States. Leave it to Mexico, a beautiful country that’s struggling with so much poverty, to offer up free internet service instead of some silly $20 per flight deal which occurs once you cross into (at least on the surface) the wealthy, not so poverty stricken, USA! AMERICA! America, the same America that the side of the plane you’re flying in, is so proudly representing. Rich, powerful, fair America needs the extra $20!"
Contras: "I loved all of it. I have nothing to complain about. Thanks for a great experience!! Except, if there’s any way that I can extend a complaint about the Cozumel airport... I was SO disappointed that they no longer carry those delicious Doritos, that can only be found in Mexico. Their stores stopped carrying them and I nearly died of sadness! Just kidding guys. I had a great experience and I love Cozumel airport. It’s one of my favorites, honestly."

Prós: "On time, even with de-icing. Very empty flight, so lots of room to spread out."
Contras: "The older md80’s that AA is still flying are really showing their age. It will be nice when they update their fleet."

Prós: "The planes were on time. On our way down to Cozumel. The pilot let me 4-year-old son see the cockpit. Which was AWESOME, they were great As well as the flight crew on the way down. The trip down was terrific, If AA had this level of service all the time I would fly with them all the time."
Contras: "The trip home was more of what i expected from AA. The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done."

Contras: "Our flight was delayed over 3 hours. Other Advantage members have already received bonus miles for their inconvenience. I am also an Advantage member and have not received bonus points and am unable to get ahold of anyone."

Contras: "Cramped beyond belief. Can’t roll carry on bags through aisles. Seems they’re more narrow. Boarding seems something beyond common sense. On domestic flights I only fly Southwest unless a must do trip and they don’t fly there. Our trip over to Milan on British Airways was wonderful. Sorry the last leg was American Airlines.)"

Contras: "Seat 20f It was very uncomfortable and freezing My legs were sore after the journey. Besides until 30 seconds before actual boarding time the members didn't inform about the delay. Everybody had formed lines and we see people getting out only then."

Contras: "The flight leg PHL-LIS was the most unconfortable transatlantic trip I ever experienced. The plane was small, tight and no head support made this the worst transatlantic flight of my life, easily comparable to any low cost airline."

Contras: "Bad service no entertainment besides a one very childish movie. My tray stayed with me the whole flight, I had almost to beg to take it and never s flight attendant seem happy, pleasant or even profissional. The landing by the pilots was amazing."

Prós: "Nothing special, but no problems. I did pay for the fruit and cheese plate, which I think is a good deal for the price. Brie is better than you'd expect on a plane! Totally recommend it."

Furthermore, I had purchased the ticket with the intent of flying with British Airways and found myself in a charter from American Airlines. I wish to be compensated for this mistake. Thank you"

Contras: "A guy passed out prior to boarding, then they put him on the flight. We push back from the gate and start the engines and the guy passes out again. Now we are delayed 35 minutes. Why did they put someone one the flight that was clearly sick before he ever boarded then you make everyone miss their connection in Dallas. We got to the gate for our connecting flight 9 minutes before the pushed back from the ramp and they would not let us on??? WTF poor customer service!! Fly southwest from now on!"

Prós: "Crew was efficient and helpful. Captain kept us posted along the way. They also keep air flowing when we were delayed to take off so everyone is comfortable inside the crowded cabin."

Prós: "On time departure and arrival and a friendly crew helped keep this flight smooth despite some turbulence. The fact that there have been electrical outlets on this route for so long is a testimony to the Continental heritage."
Contras: "The seats in economy are just so tight that sleep on this short overnight flight was almost impossible. The lack of more recline (as in the recarro sears used on the LH/LX products) and short pitch make it hard to either work or sleep. The small plane size makes this sardine feeling worse and slows service to the rear of be craft."

Contras: "As we have learned, airlines, like banks, have figured out how to make more money (even though fuel prices have dropped) fees, fees and more fees and less, less, less services..."

Contras: "I don't understand how you pay $500 for a six hour flight and a meal is not included."

Prós: "The check in with united was rather disappointing. The staff working with united were not clear with instructions and rather rude. Checking in can be a rather stressful process when there are long lines and tons of people.... this person was just short, unclear and rude."

Contras: "I had one small bag and just did the economy and was going to put it under the seat. The guy at the checkin did not allow my bag and made me check it EVEN THOUGH it fit in their mock tray. He said I squeezed the sides 1 inch and that it just need to go in the tray by gravity. That is complete BS. As long as it fits under the seat and I am not putting my feet in others space thats is all that matters. Check in people at least one guy in Denver needs to be retrained."

Prós: "Text notification of flight delays several hours in advance. Crew was exceptionally polite - I'd imagine this is a direct result of United's recent scandal. The scandal will eventually dissipate but hope the new crew attitude sticks around."
Contras: "Flight delayed twice. For a 5 1/2 hour flight only a 1/2 cup of water was offered/available. If salty snacks are the only thing being offered, 1/2 a plastic cup of water is impractical and just plain stingy."

Prós: "Was very bad weather conditions and the crew really did well"
Contras: "We bought very cheap tickets, not understanding that we were put at the back and had NO flexibility with the tickets. Treated like ppl with "cheap tickets"."

Contras: "Intentionally delaying my flight out of Newark to Syracuse. My flight from Sacramento to Dulles was stuffing with little leg room. This crew was also very unfriendly."

Contras: "Upon approach we were suddenly deverted to Seattle. I had a few issues. Number one you could not hear the pilot so that made it worse. The lack of communication was horrible. I have been on flights when there has been clarity given a change in plans but this was bad. We sat at the gate for an hour and a half, again no real communication, the fligh attendant t hope was joking when he said there was a half a bottle left for the whole plane...much later we were served water. Announcements were made but no clarity. We were told to collect baggage at number 2. Get a voucher for a hotel. After deplann9ng about 25 of us stood in line at the customer service desk where there were two staff working slowly. Then after an hour they announced we were in the wrong place, couldn't that have been explained earlier? Once we made our way out of the terminal to the ticket count the line was all the way down the hall. still with little info we waited. We landed at the alternate airport at 945, at 130am I had my vouchers, the food not useful until the following day, the hotels were full, no one picked up the phone for the shuttle bus to the hotels. I finally elected to sleep at the airport on a bench. We had actually all been reassigned a flight on our same plane. So I am not sure why we had to wait in line all that time. Our bags were not removed from the plane an irritated baggage claim attendant told me. It was a mess. The flight the next morning was fine, short, without problems for me. united needs to work on its communications. It would have been helpful to have someone out side running the line giving out info. And at customer service they should have been paying attention to their line. Would have been helpful."

Contras: "I have taken this fight many times. This was the first time there was not a drink Service available. Approximately 10 people had to get off the plane so five people to check their bag"

Contras: "In first, the FA said they don't do hot nuts anymore due to budget cuts, and when I stood up to stretch, she told me I had to return to my cabin. It took three tries to get her to understand that I was standing next to my seat. budget cuts? During a time of record profits?"

Prós: "Not too much. I suppose the fact that they put me on a first class (though 45 minute) flight to get me closer to my destination wasn't a bad touch, and my bag was where they said it would be even if I had to get it myself"
