Contras: "Business class food is a disgrace. On the way to Lisbon they had at least some warm meal, skipped now and just got a box with bad, cold food. The crew was apologetic."

Prós: "TAP always has great team members and crew. They are polite, professional and helpful. The flight itself is comfortable and relaxing; very enjoyable."
Contras: "TAP does not check your bags all the way through if you are having a layover. This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

Contras: "Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress."

Prós: "I really appreciated the fact that the gate agents enforced the boarding process meticulously. Often times, even when boarding a certain zone, passengers ignore it and board anyway. The staff made sure that people only boarded when their zone was called. The flight and the aircraft was comfortable. The food was better than what I've had on other airlines, if not at least equal."

Contras: "The United airlines business class seats were too crowded with no privacy. You have to climb over your neighbor to to use the rest room."

Prós: "3-3-3 layout in economy on the United 777 I was on meant I wasn't cramped for space. WiFi worked well for a significant amount of the time I used it."

Contras: "There was someone that pooped themselves, another that threw up, and the flight attendants were so rude. They kept spraying stuff in the air and even those of us sitting, so much in fact I had an asthma attack and had to use my inhaler. When I told the attendant, she said "theres nothing I can do," and kept spraying the air with this awful spray. The flight harmful to my health, exhausting, and uncomfortable. BEWARE OF THIS AIRLINE! I would have preferred not gone on my trip then fly this airline!"

Contras: "1) They left our luggage at Brussels, the lost and found desk in Venice that handles Brussels airlines was unmanned. Took 40 minutes to talk to a person. 2) Although promised to bring the luggage on the next day, only brought 2 days after! We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves."

Contras: "Choice of food was very limited as they were missing the food in catalog."

Prós: "I was not at all pleased with the overall experience. Most of the staff was very nice though. The flight staff was nice, the airport staff was not."
Contras: "Flight was delayed without notice. They waited until after we were lined up to board to put this up on the board, leaving us standing around for an hour. They never announced it on the overhead. The boarding process took an obscene amount of time which seems to have been attributed to having one worker confirm passports after we had already been checked at the desk. He moved very slowly. Actual flight was quick and easy. No food or entertainment as it was only an hour."

Contras: "The boarding system blocked all twenty U.S. passport holders from boarding the plane. I argued with the gate agent who was defiantly stupid. Never again for this airline for any of us."

Contras: "Late departure in Brussels with confusing and inaccurate information. The food was tasteless, my kids and I hardly ate anything because of it. The in-flight entertainment options were pretty limited. Once again, the flight crew was not very friendly or service minded."

Prós: "The crew was on point, the comfort was great though the plane was a bit cold they had plenty of blankets. The organization of finally getting onto the plane was great."
Contras: "The boarding process was confusing and disorganized. Perhaps it's always this way but they began boarding rows 32-47, but never changed the monitor when boarding of additional rows began. I didn't understand the need for extra security prior to arriving at the gate either. I was already in the terminal, but then needed an additional sticker on my passport. Not enough options in the entertainment section."

Contras: "Brussels Airlines was obviously throwing around the luggage as my hard shell suitcase was cracked irreparably when it arrived at the carousel."

Contras: "Flught was delayed more than 45 min from Brussels and when we finally arrived to Lisabon they couldn't open a door to Airport building."

Prós: "On time boarding and the flight was in less time than expected."

We had a transfer in Brussels where some how the tags on the bags were not there and we were without a luggage for 5 days. I feel that the Venice airport claim was horrible as they seem to misplace luggage alot and on our transfer flight they fave us the wrong carousel. The service on the plane was great. But that was it."

Contras: "No wifi and no electrical socket. By row 43, they ran out of blankets and dinners other than beef. The check-in website looked like it was from the 1990s. When I had to pay for a second bag at the airport (IAD) on the outbound flight, it took 15 minutes. When I came (BRU), they told me to wait in 3 different lines, wasting 30 minutes, before I got to the correct line. Then board the flight to return was a 45 minute delay. It's like these guys were totally new to the airline business."

Prós: "The crew was very friendly"
Contras: "No free food offered though i was in transit all day, uncomfortable chairs, no entertainment"

Contras: "My biggest disappointment was that no one on the flight was informed that ALL the luggage checked in on the aircraft did not arrive in Budapest. Everyone (about 70-80 passengers) stood for a long while at Budapest Airport for baggage pickup, then went over to talk to Hungarian lost luggage personnel to file their baggage. Why didn't the airline tell us upon check-in, or even announce to the passengers on the aircraft that the bags had not been loaded? This would have saved everyone 10 hours later to try to figure out what happened."
