Prós: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Contras: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"
Contras: "No bridge in Frankfurt - long taxi and then 15 minute bus ride to the terminal; had to go through security again; mad dash to catch connecting flight (which also had the 15 minute drive to the plane - again, no gate in the terminal! Shambles!"

Prós: "When my traveling companion suddenly became acutely ill the flight attendants stepped right in and assisted him to an available Business Class area where he could be cleaned up (including changing his soiled shirt to a clean one from the 1st Class supplies) and made more comfortable. They checked on him frequently during the rest of the flight and made arrangements to get us assistance off the airplane in Detroit and through the crowded airport in record time in order to get him to the ER as soon as possible. We are so grateful to them for their caring help during what could have been a very embarrassing situation."

I am not blaming the crew, but their only suggestion was to restart it... Which I did... several times... but the player had a life of its own. Eventually I found a way to be able to get to a movie and get it to play, but it was not easy. I wish that there would be an extra player that could be provided as a replacement... Thank you."

After a cross-Atlantic flight this final hour on the tarmack was almost unbearable. On top of that, it was 8pm EST which felt like 2am for passengers from Europe. It was just a very long day of travel."

This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

This is Greece, so no quick checkin, long lines, not really sure which is the right line. Then they change the gate at the last minute. Really the worst terminal I have been in for a long time, and this includes those in China and India. Even worst than La Guardia at rock bottom. But then you are in Crete... But DO allow at LEAST two hours to check in."

Contras: "You do pay alacarte for everything. And service suffers in the name of low price. Checked bags, drinks and food. Be prepared to walk or stand everywhere, baggage check-in at Orly is in the basement and the last areas 132. The gates are the last gates in the south terminal. And when you get to the gate boarding is done enmasss so you wait in line. But the fares are cheap."

Contras: "1. Check-in Agent was rude. 2. Carry-on bag were taken at the Check-in Counter without my permission - and checked through to destination. The carry-on contained an iPad (still in the 'On' Mode) as well as diabetic medication and foods. 3. Flight left an hour late but passengers were not given updates until 15 minutes before we were able to leave. 4. Not much in-flight service and noone came by to collect garbage, empty water bottle, etc."

I was finally told, after multiple attempts and many texts messages back and forth with a representative, that I could only reserve my seats during check-in at the airport because my ticket had been purchased via another airline/ service (I had connecting flights). This was very frustrating. Also, the seats on the plane were very uncomfortable, there's no room, and I'm not a large person. When they offered something to drink, I asked for water and had to pay 2.80 for it, there were no snacks. I would not fly this airline again."

De Amesterdão para Lisboa, eu e o meu marido, levamos uma mala para os dois, e não nos deixaram ir com ela no avião,,,,despacharam no embarque para o porão!! Não e percebe.... Ficamos realmente chateados com a situação, nunca nos tinha acontecido. Embarque muito demorado e avião com lugares muito apertados...acho que a partir de agora vou evitar a Transavia"

Contras: "Flight was delayed, but more than that - WHERE ARE THE TRANSAVIA SIGNS AT THE AIRPORT?! I flew out of Orly, which is a nice, small airport that looks like a ghost town on one half of the check-in terminal. There are electronic kiosks which look like check-in kiosks but they don't work, and a whole floor of empty check-in booths with NO SIGNS as to where to go. I had to go to the information desk to find out where your check-in staff was - which is quite frustrating for a person who travels as much as I do. This should be easy, right? The trains in Paris are under construction during the summer. The whole transport system is screwed up (also lack of signs as to where to actually catch your train). So you're ALREADY stressed about catching your flight, and when you show up at the airport the check-in terminal (where is appears Transavia is located) is EMPTY?! That is RIDICULOUS. I am NOT a tourist. I LIVE & WORK all over Europe as an artist. I don't appreciate this sick twisted pleasure that some Europeans have in seeing confused tourists rush around like chickens with their heads cut off when their own infrastructure breaks down...because it DOESN'T JUST AFFECT THE TOURISTS! It's not cool. It's sadistic & a really crappy way to treat people who are just trying to appreciate and learn about your culture while supporting your economy while they're at it. A little bit of consideration goes a LONG way. And when it's severely lacking, as it was in this case, it makes me want to take my business & creative projects elsewhere. You have a whole Transavian UTOPIA one floor down from the main level. How about a few big TRANSAVIA SIGNS saying "ONE LEVEL DOWN" that tell people where to go instead of making everyone confused and mad when they're already in a rush to catch their plane?! How about a little empathy - seeing travel from the perspective of the TRAVELER? Just saying."
Prós: "It was on time, orderly, everything went well. I like how you pay for weight not amount of luggage."

Contras: "Worst plane seat of all carriers. No leg room, to close to seat in front no where to put anything , no usb charger. My local bus is more comfortable & better equipped. Same as 90% of people only fly Ryanair as a last resorts. Friend tried to down load boarding pass in the morning of flight was not able as need to be done 24hrs before. 50 euro to get printed at airport outrageous. Perhaps you could Justify £10 but 50 euro!! Why do they try so hard to rip there customers off at every turn"

Contras: "Supostamente só se pode levar uma única mala, presenciei pessoas sem prioritário e sem mala extra a embarcarem com dois volumes o que é injusto para quem se preocupou a controlar a bagagem incluindo a dificuldade que é não utilizar mala de senhora para além da bagagem."
Prós: "De nada nunca mais viajo c essa empresa, cheguei c 3 horas de antecedência no aeroporto e me fizeram pagar uma taxa de 55 euros absurdo, na volta atrasou muito, pessoas maleducadas"

Contras: "a tripulação do avião cancelou o acesso à gate antes da hora prevista tendo arrancado, deixando mais de 6 clientes em terra. é inexplicável esta forma de actuação tendo em conta que quem paga pelo serviço deveria aprimorar e dedicar-se a prestar um bom serviço. para mim a gota de água, não volto a contratar serviços a esta companhia."
Contras: "O tempo de espera no aeroporto para embarcar. Cerca de 1 hora."

Contras: "Para além de estarmos dentro de umas gaiolas em pé, quase uma hora sem sequer nos dizer nada, fomos a pé debaixo de chuva até ao avião. Crianças e bebês a serem forçados a ir debaixo de chuva. Entretanto chegamos ao avião e não tivemos autorização para entrar, ficando debaixo de chuva... enfim. Depois disso, quando aterramos não tivemos autorização de sair porque o Hospedeiro de Bordô chamou a polícia para acompanhar um dos passageiros. E para variar... Tivemos de permanecer sentados em espera para podermos sentir. Enfim. No mínimo ridículo."
Contras: "Houve um atraso e não avisaram. Ficámos em pé imenso tempo para embarcar como se o voo estivesse a horas."

Contras: "On the check in process we fell force to pay for our seats, we bought the tickets (my wife and myself) in the same transaction and paid with the same card, the check in was made from the app, both at the same and they put us apart (row 6 and row 33) when in both cases were free seats next to us."

Prós: "Quickness with the site. Easy to use"
Contras: "1) my first issue is that my card was charged 2x before having to run it a 3rd time to guarantee my flight. I guess Kayak and Ryanair do not communicate as easily as other carriers. 2) I was charged $50 Euro at the counter for NOT checking in. I attempted to check in numerous times, but it was not allowing me to check in. I received a booking confirmation, but never received a confirmation ID that would have allowed me to check in on the flight. I would appreciate if Kayak would have a response to this?"
Contras: "Atraso de duas horas no voo. Cheguei em casa muito tarde."
Contras: "Booked 3 flights all on Ryanair for a trip inside Portugal. The booking agent, Gotogate.com, and Ryanair left me deserted. Some error occurred and I received the same flight booking # for all 3 the flights. I discovered this when trying to retrieve my boarding pass for the second flight. Neither company fixed the problem and I could not board the flight. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to Porto (6 hours away). Neither company have anyone that can assist with these issues on the weekend. The worst experience I could have had on my birthday vacation."
Contras: "We attempted to cancel our reservations more than a week before our trip because my husband was hospitalized. Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery."
Prós: "The plane didn't crash"
Contras: "Plane left an hour after scheduled time. Amenities were mediocre but that's what you expect with Ryanair. Didn't even get water."
Prós: "I was pleased with the RyanAir staff at the Dublin airport and on the flight. Easy booking process and many options to help make traveling a bit easier"
Contras: "I have an American passport and did not realize I needed to get a visa stamp before boarding the plane. While I do realize now that it is mentioned on my boarding pass, there was no other mention of it along the way from arriving at the airport, checking my bag (I used self check), going throigh security, or anywhere else in the RyanAir terminal. Perhaps this could be made more clear for travelers who have never experienced this before."
