We had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs to get on a bus, which then transported us a very long ways away on the tarmac. Then it was an older model plane and the engine noise, even though we were up front, was extremely loud! It was somewhat worrisome. The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!"

We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."

Contras: "Our departure was delayed 2 hours because an unaccompanied minor was placed on the wrong flight--UA's fault. That began a domino effect of missed connections. When the landed, We were given little information on how to re-book and had to wait in several long lines. All told, 12 hour delay to Milan"

Prós: "The flight was quick and they waited for our flight from JFK, which had been delayed and arrived and hour later than scheduled."

Food tastes bad, plus I was skipped from the second meal despite having prepaid for it (flight attendant overlooked that my seat was on a list, part of the problems that come with nickeling and diming for every single thing including even meals on an international flight). Despite flying to the US, attendants consistently only spoke German to me and my wife, did not speak on both German and English."
Prós: "If I can give this airline negative stars, I would."
Contras: "Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."
Prós: "Not much really except Wi-fi which is pricey though."
Contras: "Delayed with no information. Boarding bit chaotic and once on board no food left to buy as everything has been sold out. Despite me being in row 1 and the first customer to be served. Plane arrived at low cost Barcelona terminal and we had to wait quite long for our luggage. Eurowings race to the bottom."
Contras: "Delayed, causing me to miss all other flights."

Contras: "Everything else. I felt the stewardess from my aisle was extremely rude. She would ask someone a question and obviously they can’t hear her because their watching a movie, so she would wave her hand in their face. Another time she was telling me “excuse me” in German while I was watching a movie. I thought she was speaking to someone else since I did not understand German and then she very rudely said “excuseee me”. The food was not filling and they charged for drinks. She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."

Contras: "I travelled with my two children and they have given us three completely separate seats. I tried to ask the crew to help but they refused, both ground crew and in flight crew. We have flown with both Wizz Air and Easyjet this summer and those airlines have always assigned us seats together. Lufthansa did also. No idea why it was not possible for Eurowings. Also, crew were completely unhelpful, did not want to lift a finger for us. Luckily, a kind lady switched seats with me so I could sit next to my youngest son. Would definitely think twice about flying Eurowings again..."
Contras: "The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Prós: "With this being my first flight to and from Europe from the USA I found the airline, overall, very comfortable and run by a friendly staff. The on flight meals and drinks were delicious and the entertainment selection was much larger than I expected. I hope to use this airline company again in the future."
Contras: "First leg of flight was delayed by fog. OK... it happens, but almost every customer facing employee along the chain gave wrong information and/or had no inclination to help. Spent an hour going from pillar to post at DUS having been told to retrieve bag from incoming carousel. Told several times it wasn't there and would meet us in DRS. Of course it wasn't. Frankly I've had more help from airlines in the least developed parts of the world. Lufthansa Group.... you must be joking."

Contras: "Worst experience in all areas. The phones calls were brutal and no one could help me and then someone could and then they cousltnnagain. No one could find a flight. Took so long for them to look stuff up etc."

As an economy passenger, I was to purchase a meal between Geneva and Brussels. Since I didn't want a meal I was surprised to learn I also had to pay for a small, regular coffee."
Contras: "Switched plane from Brussels to United which saves us 3hrs but then they lost our luggage. This was after we asked them to double-check. They told us that our luggage had been logged-in to our new flight. We are very disappointed in Brussel airline and will not use them again."

Contras: "I travel a lot, and I've used many airlines before. This was my first and last time I use Brussels airlines. The cabin crew is not friendly. The entertainment was poor. The checking process was horrible (the airport is not properly designed, managed, poor information systems) I will gladly go through the mad house in Heathrow, or long walks at Schiphol, but not interested in Brussels."

In addition, the host and his service was terrible. When I asked him for water, he told me that I could find it at the back of the flight and I should go get it myself. The other hostess on the other side was handing out waters to whoever needed it. When a passenger sitting next to me asked for a spoon to eat his meal, the host shrugged his shoulders and didn't come back with one. He was blatantly rude and ignored his passenger. We were also not given blankets on an 7-8 hour flight. It was only on request. People who had requested one were then asked to fold and return their blankets (they were not asked kindly) before landing. The selection of tv, music, and shows on board were terrible as well. Barely any selection. Needless to say, this was the worst service I have ever had on an airline."

Prós: "Crew was vey professional. Arrival in Rome was to a gate rather than a bus, which was unusual but nice. Baggage delivery was also surprisingly quick for Rome. The Brussels Airlines lounge in Brussels airport is fantastic!"
Contras: "The flight departure was delayed 1 1/2 hours, meaning we arrived in Rome at nearly midnight. No complimentary drinks on board. As a Star Alliance Gold member, I chose Brussels Airlines out of loyalty. But the cheap approach to customer care means I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future."
Contras: "What a surprise when our United Airlines codeshare on Brussels Airline did not even allow us a drink of water free on our two hour flight. They charged for everything including water. Shame on them! And shame on United Airlines to codeshare with a carrier with such poor customer service."

Dozens stood for over a half hour waiting to move forward. They wouldn't let us back into the gate area to sit. Poor planning"
