Prós: "The attendants were great. Flight was clean and nice."
Contras: "Moved us from gate, which was super hot and not air conditioned first thing in the morning evidently. Also, not enough seats for everyone on the flight. Then we were squished onto a bus to go to the plane. Upon arriving in Naples we were once again squeezed into one bus- every passenger! Very tight. 2 buses would have been nice."

Prós: "The breakfast quiche was a pleasant surprise. Crew was very welcoming and professional."
Contras: "I was surprised to be charged for 1 piece of checked baggage. I was never informed I would be required to pay for 1 piece of checked baggage. I would have paid ahead of time, had I known. I tried to check-in online but was denied access to my ticket because Swiss Air thought I might be a robot. I kept following instructions for positive access but after about 10 attempts I quit. Very irritating!"

Prós: "Great crew and flight."
Contras: "Boarding procedure was rather chaotic. After first class, rather than board by groups or rows, it was everyone else. Flights are fully booked and overhead bin space is tight if you board at end."

Contras: "I arrived on Thursday, today is saturday and I am still without my luggage."

Contras: "I was not able to buy from the duty free discounted offers on the plane. The discounted shopping panflet was not on my LA/Zurich flight.... so I didn't see it and did not buy then.... And on my second part of the trip Zurich/Nice they refused to sell me to me from the Duty Free because they didn't have time..... :( The dark hair flight attendant in the back of that plane was not informative or nice....I had to talk to the head flight attendant in the front of the plane, she was more professional! Other than that everything was good!"

Prós: "The flight attendants qere very nice and friendly. Spoke great English. They came by often with drinks and snacks. All the food was actually good! The seats were fairly comfy and there was actually room! Even when the person in front of me leaned back, my legs still didn't touch the back of the seat (I'm 5-10 with long legs). Very happy with swiss!"

Prós: "I was late ( I had to drive 230 Km ) and I managed to call in advance the company that was doing the check-in on behalf of SWISS - I asked them the Check-in time closing time and by almost flying ( speeding like crazy ) I arrived before that moment."
Contras: "I did not check the terms and conditions of the ticket. I am a Star Alliance Gold member and I was expecting SWISS to have a similar booking system like the others I fly with. I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

Prós: "My partner and I loved our first flight with Swiss from JFK to Zurich the chairs was amazing, we enjoyed the full bed and the entertainmnet screen was amazing to enjoy. The food was delicious and the service was amazing."
Contras: "My Partner and I was dissatisfied with our connecting from Zurich to Cairo. We expected the same flight but we were in basically in coach with little more leg room. The chairs barely reclined to a comfortable position. There was no entertainment, just a three and a half hour flight at the flight plan on a small tv hanging over. their was no differentiation between the economy behind us. just the food that was brought to us, other felt the same as well who were traveling in business with us."

Contras: "HAving to walk across the Zurich airport to buy a business class upgrade was bad. I just wanted to buy the upgrade at the desk. No need to go from terminal 3 to terminal 1. total waste of 20-30 minutes. Ironic that this happens to people willing to spend $'s of dollars for convenience and comfort. should be able to purchase upgrade ASAP with a smile at check-in."

Contras: "No outlet for charging electronics. No free checked luggage. My carry on (of usual size) was deemed a bit too big so I was forced to check it in."

Contras: "I have flown with Swiss several times. Every single time, I had to run in between my gates to make it to the connecting flight. And in the process of the turmoil and stress of rushing, I have witnessed airport people being extremely rude with passengers who were not at fault that their original flight was late and were merely trying to make it on time. Correspondingly, every single time I flew with Swiss, I never knew whether or not I will get my luggages. Simply put, your organization is poor and your flights are unfailingly late!!"

Whe I got on the plane there was plenty of room for my carry on despite the boarding staff saying there wasn't. I offered to upgrade my ticket to business class the attendant at the desk laughed at me. Older woman was very rude, condescending and not accommodating."

The crew took time to tell us what we would be seeing as we flew, it was a beautiful morning for the flight until we experienced overcast skies in Austria- Germany. The staff did their job well with minimal comfort disruption."
Contras: "I would take this flight again. The only thing I would change is unloading procedure of walking down stairs on the outside of the terminal, then loaded on a stand up bus for a rather long ride to the terminal. It reminded me of London. But, I guess it is something you have to deal with."

Contras: "way too difficult to try to get exit row seats- I went on line precisely 23 hours before the fight and could not figure out the exit rows- legend said they would be marked by a red line but were not. Very frustrating."

Contras: "They lost the luggage for nearly all the passengers on the flight. I don't know how it happened, but they "forgot" to load suitcases for over 100 people, and they never even told us. We all just waited for our luggage at the baggage claim and only after we all complained that our luggage was missing did we find out that none of it made it to our destination. Now, we're without luggage for 2 of our 7 days in Italy."

Prós: "The seats on the leg of this flight were much more comfortable and there was normal space for feet."
Contras: "The boarding here was completely unorganized. After people had just been in a crowd, they attempted to have people love up, which was futile. Some of the seats were dirty and/or unkempt. The snack option wasn't to my liking and may have been the cause of a stomachache later."

Loo's are not maintained. Crew too rude. Had called a flight attendant for service but didn't show up until an hour (exactly an hour). Later I had to get up and take it. Can write an essay on my whole journey."

Prós: "Food was very good, super nice crew. Good selection of movies. Boarding was great, we are seniors, we didn't ask for assistance beforehand, but the person at the gate called us over and had us board early. Much appreciated!"
Contras: "Seats were just too cramped. We chose seats and paid extra to do that, but the seating charts really didn't give a very good idea of what to expect or how to choose. Announcements were to difficult to understand. Also in the gate area, I couldn't understand names at all. Need to slow down and speak more clearly."

Prós: "The problem was a family with 4 children who failed to parent their children which made this 7 hour flight a nightmare. Their children yelled, screamed and cried the entire flight and their parents did nothing. Their children laid in the center aisles, jumped up and down in the seats like a trampoline. They played with the trays like a toy repeatedly opening and closing them for fun. They tossed pillows at each other and the father handed them back to them to do it again and again. The parents didn't even seat their children in - the flight attendant had to do it. In our section there was no sleeping only total frustration. I love kids but sitting behind totally irresponsible parents made this return flight a nightmare while awake"

Contras: "I bought an aisle seat in the center section near the back of the plane because the diagram of the plane's seating area showed an empty space in front of the row I picked. On the actual plane, it was simply a normal row, with no extra space in front of it. Going to register complaint with Lufthansa and seek refund of seat cost."

Contras: "Would have liked information on going through customs on arrival. Luggage was very slow to be delivered to luggage belt. Airport was not ready for flight arrival."

Contras: "Entertainment options were so-so. Lots of modern films, not all of them quality. Perhaps having a section with all-time great films would be good."

Contras: "I ordered Wheel chair for my parents but one of them didn't get it at all. When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Prós: "The constant smile conferred by flight attendants through the entire flight."
Contras: "The boarding was a bit disorderly. Lanes for zones 3 and 4 were not clearly indicated."

Contras: "There was a Force Majeur delay in Helsinki due to wings freezing that caused 20 minute delay to Amsterdam and made the interchange stressful."

Contras: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Contras: "I paid €60 extra to sit in the emergency door seat to get more leg room but once.i was in the plane learned for more leg room I accepted a smaller seat next to a bathroom and no entertainment. I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Contras: "Boarding was delayed a little due to weather as was takeoff. Cant blame them for weather but the connection was very tight."

Prós: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Contras: "The leg room on the long flight was less than I would have wished and it was particularly bad when the person in front put their seat back. this was a day time flight and it would have been good to have a bit more room to use a laptop."

Contras: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Contras: "Long stop over at Schiphol. Too Long!!!!"

Contras: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Prós: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."

And a very comfortable headrest which made snoozing easier."
Contras: "Contacting TAP Customer Service was a nightmare. It took forever before anyone answered the phone &, when they did, it was VERY difficult to understand their English. Forget reaching ANYONE after 9 pm; ditto for trying to do anything online, e.g., checking in, picking seats, modifying reservations, etc. If you are forced to do anything at night, prepare yourself for total frustration."

Contras: "1) I tried several times while traveling but was unable to figure out how to choose a vegetarian option for the flight. When I called customer service, after a long hold time, the woman I finally spoke to told me it was too late to order vegetarian and refused to help me. I have never flown another airline (Air India, Turkish Air, United, American, China Southern, etc., etc.) that did not make this easy to choose during booking or check-in and that did not already have a standard ovo-lacto vegetarian option on the regular menu. Vegetarians practice for all sorts of reasons, including religion and health needs. It's unacceptable to make it so difficult to meet your meal needs while trapped on a plane for nine hours. 2) The check-in agent did not know the rule about all remaining seats being opened for passenger choice three hours before booking and insisted we had to pay to get aisle seats despite one of us having a health problem necessitating her standing up and walking every 45 minutes. Then another agent told us we couldn't choose seats for free for our Porto to Newark flight when we check in for our Madrid-Porto flight because it wasn't technically three hours before the Porto-Newark departure. But how were we supposed to choose seats for the Porto-Newark flight three hours in advance if we are in an airplane flying to Porto at that time? This makes no sense. Seats should be opened for every leg of a same-day journey at the same time. The agents were unhelpful and unsympathetic. 3) This was an old plane without options to choose a film or show to watch. Instead, passengers could flip through a few channels and hope to find something of interest that was already playing -- there was no way to begin a film or show from the beginning if you landed on it in the middle of its running time. I cannot recommend TAP Portugal to any of my friends, family, or colleagues after this experience."

Contras: "Flight from Oporto to Lisbon, when we landed they did not set up the ramp to exit the plane, I had requested mobility assistance. And the ramp was right next to the plane."

Prós: "Good staff, Quick flight, Easy flight no problems. The biscuits are tasty."
Contras: "Seats need an inch or two more leg room for me, the biscuits they gave out were tasty but would of been really nice to have a sandwhich. But that's air travel these days. There was a slight problem with the air craft before we took off. Air conditioning was off and the door were closed while we sat there for 15 mins. They kept us well informed though, not the end of the world."

Contras: "They gave my 70-year old mother only a few hours notice that they were changing her one-stop four-hour 6AM flight into an 8AM multi stop 14-hour marathon. In fact, she was already asleep when they changed her flight, so she was already at the airport when she found out about the change. To do this to a 70-year old woman is reprehensible. Worse, after 2-hours with customer service, nobody there made any real attempt to remedy the situation or offer any compensation. Worst airline experience EVER."

Contras: "My first flight from Madrid to Portugal was cancelled (at midnight) so I had to sleep in the terminal because the bus they provided to the hotel couldn't take all of us. Then my flight to New Jersey was delayed several hours making me miss my next flight to Denver (home) and I had to spend a 2nd night in the terminal. I never received and hotel/food/taxi vouchers. I will do everything to avoid flying with TAP Portugal ever again."

Contras: "The ground staff of easyJet were horrible. During boarding, my girlfriend was instructed to fit a carry-on on the "bag size check thing" and it didn't fit (barely). We we're forced to open the bag and put some of the clothes on to make it fit (the most unnecessary thing, since we're carrying the same weight and volume on the plane anyway). If this was not bad enough, after that, we had to check in the luggage anyway because there was no space in the cabin (making the whole process of removing stuff from the luggage even more irrelevant since volume is no longer an issue). EasyJet goes out of their way to inconvenience its costumers so we are forced to pay more to not be harassed by the staff and their random policies. The flight itself: no leg room and no entertainment."

Ainda por cima, aquando da marcação dos vôos paga-se uma taxa superior para ir num banco com as mesmas condições (espaço) que os outros. Terminal do aeroporto de Bili (Bordeaux) cláustrofóbico pois colocaram lá todos os viajantes, num vôo lotado, á espera que se pudesse embarcar. Saída do vôo atrasada em quase meia hora, recuperada durante a viagem; chegada a horas."

Contras: "I got to the airport at 445 for a 605 flight. They closed the gate at 5:15. I had to buy another flight for 800 dollars. Don't ever fly with them. It's not worth the cheap price tag."

Contras: "It was SO hot and when you're cramped like that, the temperature can make you panic a little bit. Did not get cooler in the air, and they made you pay for drinks!!! Even water! Nothing "easy" about this jet."

Contras: "The flight was late taking off by an hour, we received messages that it was going to be late, but by only ten minutes. Even at the desk, a long line formed at the original boarding gate, before we were told that the gates were chaning to one at the other end of the building. Then made to queue at the gate for half an hour, then sat in the plane for an hour. Plus on top of that it was from Stansted which is the worst aiport."

Prós: "Timing and arrival experience"
Contras: "Boarding was a mess, they did not call by groups, everybody ended up on the plane in an avalanche, we got into the plane by the back door to push and set aside people and carry on luggage until we made it to the front where are seats were located. Caos was in the air, worse boarding experience ever."

Prós: "This was a one-hour flight from Catania, Sicily, to Naples. Boarding the plane, takeoff and landing all typical of flying these days. No food, water or entertainment was offered, typical on short flights, but we and our baggage arrived on time."
Contras: "Fortunately we'd arrived quite early to check in. We had acquired an additional bag to check in. I knew it was 47 Euro and when it was our turn to approach the check-in person, I had my credit card ready with our passports and boarding passes. The woman seemed put out that we had another bag and after several minutes of conferring with a colleague and filling out a form, she gave me the form and my credit card and directed me to another area to pay the 47E. This was on the other end of the terminal and involved another queue, more discussion, finally paying and getting another form to take back to the first woman who finally processed our paperwork, printed the baggage tickets and sent them on their way. BTW, we travel fairly light. I had a 24-inch roller and a small daypack on my back. My wife started wity a carry-on roller and a small daypack, but now at the end of our two-week trip, with purchases she'd switched her carry-on to a 24-inch roller instead. If I'd known what an insane system Easy Jet has, at least at Catania, I'd have tried to add the extra bag online the day before."

Contras: "It's important to pay for Hold Luggage (checked bags) prior to arriving at the airport. It isn't easy to do once you've checked-in online, so take your time in this process as it could save you an upwards of 35 euros for 2 bags. Boarding process is bizzare, if you don't pay for Express Boarding, you should get in line early! Our experience with passengers onboard was unique- no one cares about what you've stored overhead so keep an eye on your belongings if you have anything fragile. EVERYONE brings suitcases onboard it seems. Confusing announcements once in flight, sounded like a beverage service was on its way but never did. Not even water. Flight attendants walked up and down the isle looking for UNICEF donations. No entertainment except for traveler watching. Ultimately we got to our desitation and that is what mattered. Everything else was just a head scratcher."

One of the flight attendants assisted me to find the boarding pass. I really dislike that an airline refuses to print a boarding pass."

Contras: "Approx 35 min delay on departure from London. Long waite time on getting off the plane."

Contras: "Sitting in an emergency row, was unable to use under seat storage and had to put all items in overhead"

Contras: "This is the only airline that counts the handbag as one piece of carry-on. Since I had my handbag and one piece of carry-on luggage (size and weight as required), I had to pay €60 to take my luggage in cargo, not even in the cabin. I'm very disappointed I paid for the luggage more than I paid for the airfare"

All in all I paid 375$ Canadian for an hour flight.Absolutely insane amount of money for how I was treated."
