Contras: "We were scheduled for a 55 minute layover in Zurich which was not nearly enough time. Our plane was 10 minutes late in landing but our next flight was delayed 5 minutes. We had to take a bus from the plane to the terminal, go through immigration with very long lines, take a tram to our departure terminal and then run to our gate which was at the end of a very long hallway. Luckily they held the plane but it was very stressful and exhausting getting to our plane."

The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Contras: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

From Chicago I used my ticket and say SWISS staff what my son will have trip only from Moscow. I paid for 2 tickets around $1700. Today when we should have trip back to USA, SWISS company said what ticket for my son do not exsist. And I spent for new ticket 220000 rubles about $3600. Nobody in SWISS company do not said me what my tocket for son canceled. I am shoked !!!"

Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

Also, the screen was terrible quality and I could not see no matter how I adjust the screen angle or the light."

They always have a great attitude and this has been consistent with my previous experiences with Lufthansa. The seat and meal were average for premium economy, but the crew more than made up for it."

This is completely unacceptable. I have received no communication at all from Lufthansa to explain why our bags were not loaded onto the plane, even though we saw them out the window, on the cart, next to the plane, before door closure. I am wondering if someone at Lufthansa decided it would be fun to ruin our vacation?"

Contras: "1. Boarding - Learn from maybe Turkish Air who allocate people zones based on where you are seated in the plane. People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

Contras: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."
Contras: "I will not use o recommend to anyone to buy a ticket with the agency, at the airport in China we were treated like criminals because as they said we were not register in the system as passengers it was really a nightmare"

Contras: "My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Contras: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Prós: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Contras: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"

The agent was not willing to refund the money I paid and give us ordinary seats. Apparently, with Air Europa, money goes only one way. Still, cheap, so may be attractive."

They didn't offer food to the inside rows, only to the window side. When you asked you got an annoyed glare."

What is the point of having a chk un counter? Also i was told to come back 2 hours before my flight . As i said i was there 6 hours eatly, when i came back the chk in on line is already closed. Im sure its a common problem , a lot if ppl paid extra and were complaining, they could have told us or have a sign there. Dont u think 30 euro is a lot to pay for not chking in? Is it only in europe? Its better when we book that ppl shld be warn of the pronlem, i paid extra 210 euro bec there are 3 of us plus the internet there suck at the airport , if you get in on the internet in 2 mins you are out or cant get in gor hours"

Contras: "They took me and my wife's carry on, that we had already stored in the over head cabins on 3 flights before this one and told me it was to big. Then they made me pay 120 Euros and asked me to take the bag out to the plane. When I got to the plane the men working with the suitcases said my bag was more than capabale of fitting overhead and let me take it up. So they charged me 120 Euros extra for nothing and only did this once they saw my American Passport."

Contras: "About 50 minutes late, hard landing, and worst of all they called us for boarding and we went out of the semi-comfortable terminal and STOOD in the HOT sun. Our plane hadn't even landed. We stood out there for 40 minutes. Voltea is even a worse version of Spirit Airlines"

Contras: "Scheduled departure time was 4:00 p.m., but we did not leave until 11:00 p.m. due to a problem with the fuel level indicator. We were kept in the departure gate for 7 hours without a proper explanation in English. When they finally realized they could not repair the plane, they put everyone on another plane. We were given a voucher to use at the snack counter for 10 euros per person, but when we got to the counter there was no food or wine left. Imagine, running out of wine in France! I understand that mechanical issues on planes happen, but it was left far too long to attempt to repair it. A replacement plane should have been supplied after a one hour delay, not 7 hours."

We entered the correct date, but somehow we still received flights for 5 days after the date we needed. We tried to change them at the airport, and after being sent to 2 different ticket counters, we ended up paying an additional $420 to get the flights we needed. Therefore, each flight from Athens to Mykonos was over $400 each. It was ridiculous and I will NEVER fly this airline again."

Contras: "Kind of sneaky with the hand luggage, you may well have the guidelines in small print somewhere, but you really should allow people to check their bags in online before the flight, as opposed to paying 80 euro per bag, so 160 euros for two bags that didn't even weigh 10kgs each. RyanAir would have been able to fly us the same trip for that alone, with bags! Then when we were boarding, both of our seats were taken - the flight attendant said "Welcome to Italy". So, that's our story. In a nutshell, overpriced, and didn't get the seats on our boarding passes..."

We were 9 passengers all together and it would have been a lot easier if she would have called the driver to pick us up. After realizing we had small kids, she finally called someone after 15 minutes but that was too late. We missed our flight. There was no supervisor to talk to and no where to file complaints."

Contras: "My luggage was lost and still has not been located. The bag tag number was entered incorrectly numerous times with different agents over the phone as well as at the airport."

Contras: "When we checked in my bag was 21 kg and she gave me trouble with that even though we had to pay extra for the bag in the first place. And then since it was a backpack we had to take it to a different location to drop it off for check-in. She also wasn't too friendly either. The flight was an hour and a half delayed. In fact each time I have flown with volotea the airplane hasn't been on time and hasn't even taken off by the time the flight was scheduled to land! The seats were close and the ride was not comfortable. I absolutely will not be using this airline again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone."
Contras: "We arrived at the airport two hours before the flight and were told we had to pay 30 euro/person (120 euro total) for boarding passes. Really?!? We had been checked in, but hadn't printed the boarding passes. They told us that they had just closed the opportunity to do this for free at the airport & we now had to pay the exorbitant fee or no boarding passes and no getting on the plane. No other way around it. It just felt like yet another ridiculous excuse to suck more money out of passengers. Just like the banks...a fee here, a free there will add to the profit bottom line without providing any additional value for the customer. Buyer beware!"

Contras: "Left us standing for a huge time in front of customs and arrived late to boarding gate. Ridiculous.y small measurement boxes for carry on luggage which would not hold standard carry on bags. This dispute the plane having full sized overhead bins that easily accommodated the bags. Forced us to pay $60 a bag under the pretext that the bags would have to be ch caked. But they didn't, we just carried them on and there was plenty of room. They were rude and unreasonable and let lots of people through without the charges after they simply removed items from their bags and carried them a few feet before putting them back. It was just a shake down."

Prós: "Our family of 4 flew Bordeaux to Split; 3 of 4 bags arrived as scheduled. Volotea DID find and deliver the lost bag on the 7th day. So all was happy in the end."
