Contras: "I have traveled extensively but I have never seen a staff more rude than Emirates. I had a connecting flight at Dubai Airport and there was 8 hours waiting time. At the gate I was connecting for Islamabad, there was not a single seating arrangement. When I complained about it to emirates desk, the staff was extremely rude. Such arrogance and an attitude that you instantly abhor. In my opinion, these Emirates people are most racist people in the world. The way they treat passengers from developing countries is vile. Even onboard, they treat 'white' passengers much differently than they would for a brown skin. I would never fly Emirates again. I plan to write against them in some leading newspaper for being racist. If people like us stay quiet and injustice and humiliating attitude they have against us, we will continue to suffer. I can pay a higher price for any other airline but I decline to ever fly with Emirates at the expense of my dignity."

Durante o check in / embarque utilizou uma politica de despacho de bagagens no Brasil e outra na Argentina, onde me efetuou cobranças de bagagens extra sem prévio aviso, além de ter se complicado com os documentos pessoais de minha esposa para o check in.
No início do voo o comissário passou as informações em vários idiomas, inclusive Português e depois não mais e poderia, pois havia muitas pessoas que não entendem outro idioma a não ser o Português.
Já viajei em classe executiva de várias companhias aéreas e a da Suiss é a menos confortável. Colocaram um excesso de poltronas na executiva e as poltronas são muito estreitas com estofado um pouco fino, que da para sentir as base da poltrona ao deitar de lado. No restante tudo bem.
As poltronas da classe executiva deste voo (avião) são estreitas e as pernas ficam fechadas num casulo e ainda meio inclinadas. Já estive em várias outras e o conforto era melhor. Eu que tenho problemas de circulação sofri um pouco.

Contras: "Too much nonsense with carry on and check in language. I paid for my seat but they changed it for better balance of the plain. Really I weigh 165 lbs. Once the plane reaches altitude they let me take my seat. However the plane was barely occupied and somebody with closer and took my seat."

Contras: "Swiss has finally done it! If you are a person who is large framed, around 225 lbs or higher you will not fit into their economy seats. I'm quite athletic and not obese but large framed (ex- football player), I could not sit squarely in the seat as my hips were severely pinched. Misery :("

It was extremely difficult to keep my seat back up which created an uncomfortable angle for my back on a 9 hour flight. The cabin was extremely warm and there was little airflow. The airline also lost our luggage"

Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Contras: "While waiting to board SFO-ZRH flight Swissair personnel walked around and randomly pulled out passengers from line to check luggage dimensions. Since manufacturers adhere to airline baggage standards, no violations were found during checks. This misguided effort only resulted in publicly humiliating Swissair customers. Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

Contras: "The plane was too hot. I asked multiple times throughout the flight for the temperature to be reduced, and it was not. I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable."

Contras: "Boarding was difficult with poor communication, before impolite request for spot check of carry-on bag and person. Ended up being one of the last to board. Entertainment system did not work, and after 4 requests for assistance to different crew members finally gave up asking and so had no entertainment for whole of flight. The last of the crew members suggested that an alternative seat or a future flight voucher could be given, but neither of these materialized. Food mediocre, and crew polite, but some not particularly friendly."

Gostei particularmente da configuração da aeronave e a alimentação é péssima. Para servir aquele sanduiche é melhor não oferecer nada!!
Vôo convencional sem nada de especial
Meu embarque foi adiado por overbooking, ficamos várias pessoas, e dos que sobraram embarcaram várias senhoritas jovens e belas e deixaram dois homens , sendo eu com 66 anos e viajando só. Foi extremamente constrangedor e revoltante, e para piorar acharam que eu estava faminto oferecendo um burgking.é evidente que foi uma falta de respeito.
Ocorre que na conexão para amman, fizera overbooking, e os comissários do aeroporto, apesar de eu ter chegado antes e ser idoso, preferiram dar prioridade às mocinhas , e simplesmente me ignoraram, porém muito gentilmente me ofereceram um burger king.(isso é pra moleque de 10 anos) eu tenho 65 anos. O que me irritou, é a falta de atenção que eu e outro senhor recebemos. Totalmente groceiros e despreparados. Tinha horário para pegar um carro locado e hotel.
Companhia muito boa, aeromoças atendem com alegria e cordialidade. Comida boa.
Prós: "Due to my religious faith I had booked special meals on Turkish Airlines. ( isegnent - Turkey to Washington DC ). Not only did the crew decline having my food reservation but they forced me to have food totally against my faith. Not sure if he airlines is biased against religions"

Missed connection to Manchester. Paid for my own hotel room overnight in Paris CDG. Flight will arrive a day late in Manchester. That means I have missed my flights from Manchester to UK with Air Lingus (booked through Kayak website) It seems I must now purchase a new ticket to get home from Manchester to Nashville. All expenses I can ill afford. Lesson learned...cannot afford to use Kayak anymore...sorry."

Contras: "Custom control at transfer airport (IST) was very crowded. Then were no Turkish Air representative available to guide to terminal, to reassure flight will be held. Arriving flight was late, very stressful. Turkish Air representatives near lines to say—we are aware you are connecting would have alleviated stress."
Prós: "Fantastic onboard entertainment. Lots of current movies and tv shows to watch. Music was available, too. Even a camera under the plane to see what you’re flying over...usually clouds. USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."
Contras: "We were subjected to at least five security checks after our transfer in Istanbul. At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

Contras: "My flight was delayed, and the wrong gate was initially listed for my connecting flight, causing me to miss my flight. I asked to transfer to the next flight, but the staff there argued with me and refused to do so, saying I must purchase another ticket. I was forced to purchase a visa, go through passport processing, and purchase a new ticket that cost nearly as much as my entire round trip ticket from the US. I then had to pay to stay overnight in a hotel and had to make alternate arrangements to meet my hosts when I finally reached my destination."
Contras: "Em athenas recebi uma informação errada, na qual me disseram q eu não precisaria retirar minha bagagem em São Paulo, que iria direto pro Rio de Janeiro. Após o desembarque em São Paulo, quase perdi a conexão esperei horas até conseguir recuperará minha mala, não havia nenhum funcionário da turkish ou avíanca para me orientar nem me ajudar a recuperar bagagens. Tive q contar com ajuda de seguranças do aeroporto que já haviam visto aquela situação . Não houve pedido de desculpas, nem nenhuma assistência."

Prós: "The flight attendants were very acccomodating. The movie choices were great, which is very important while on a 12 hour flight. They handed everyone a warm, wet wash cloth before dinner was passed. Everyone also received a package that included a pair of slippers, lip balm, tooth brush and tooth paste. We hadn't received anything like this on any of our other flights. These were small jesters that make you feel great!"

Contras: "Tbilisi-Barcelona flight was okay but 5 days earlier I took the same flight from Barcelona to Tbilisi where they changed my flight time and nobody let me know!! I didn't receive any information about it and so I had to spend 6 hours at the Barcelona airport!"

Aeroporto de amstedam colapsou Evitar
O atendimento foi ótimo, seja no embarque seja no avião, todos muito atenciosos...
Voo atrasou uma hora para aguardar passageiros em conexão.
Fui muito bem assistida, principalmente pq antes de voar eu despenquei da escada rolante e recebi uma assistência incrível. Mas a comida e a variedade de filmes muito ruins.

Prós: "Crew was amazing. They adjusted the seating arrangements so there was an empty seat in every row to give passengers more space. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. They served delicious meals, snacks, and water. They provided headphones, blankets and pillows. They took very good care of us."

Contras: "My complaints go to something not directly linked to the flight crew. 1. When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back."
Contras: "You sold wrong tickets to customers. I booked economy tickets but I got Econony lite ticket. Had to pay extra charges. You shouldn’t make money to sell lower class tickets as regular."
Prós: "The seats were very nice, and I found it very pleasing that everything was colour coordinated. (the small details in red and the rest in gray). The flight attendants were so happy and upbeat, it lifted your mood as well! I believe that we left a few minutes early, as boarding was completed early. And thefood? Mind-blowing for airplane food. I really enjoyed this flight."
Contras: "There wasn’t much I didn’t like about the flight. Sometimes the announcements were very slightly difficult to hear (accents and whatnot,) but you could still tell what they were saying."

When I boarded the overhead luggage was full could not find space to secure my bags. The flight attendant was very rude did not assist me and made me wait. Other people traveling without luggage pushed me to pass by. I was told not very nice things. The flight was overbooked and overall horible experience."

I suppose those are cheaper, but I would think both Austrian and Lufthansa (they seemed to be using almost identical entertainment systems with almost identical offerings) would benefit from limiting their movie options much more towards movies with, say, above a 70% Rotten Tomatoes rating or above average box office sales. Even if they had fewer films, say 40 instead of 56, the ones they have would be more popular."
