At the gate we were asked to check in the other carry on bag which we bought right before the trip making sure it fit the new small size req. Still that was put into check-in. We ended up with no carry on luggages with us boarded. Only to find quite a lot of bags that are much bigger than ours were allowed to be in the cabin."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Contras: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Contras: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Contras: "Careless staff, unorganized, rude, long lines with slow working agents. We were traveling with our three and six year old and started with a weather delay and then eventually a cancellation. We stood at the Barcelona airport from 7pm until 2:30am with our children. Nobody offered us food vouchers, taxi or hotel. We had to ask and only got a hotel which was an hour away and taxi on us costing us over $100 euro! Everything closed and our children ate cookies from a vending machine for dinner. Finally we got to our hotel after 3am and slept until 6:30am to catch another taxi on us back to the airport just to find out it’s delayed and we would miss our connection in Madrid back to Miami. We arrived the airport again at 9am and at 3pm we’re finally given food vouchers for our hungry children to eat something. American Airlines has a direct flight from Barcelona to Miami but they insisted they couldn’t do that for us and we’d again stay another night in Barcelona at a hotel. This would all be fine if we weren’t traveling with small children, they didn’t have school and we didn’t have to work and had extra money to pay for all the inconveniences. This was by far the worst experience we’ve had and will never choose Tap again for our travels!"

Contras: "Uncomfortable, no entertainment, have to pay for everything, arrived late, bathroom smelled like pee"

Prós: "All went well with no interference."

Contras: "The boarding and bad experience at the departing gate was unprecedented!!! I am a gold & platinum traveler, due to millions of mileage flown for over 40 years. This experience that I experienced at the departing gate was unprecedented, worse than the worse charter flight from a third world country decades ago!!! Apparently Transavia has "Sky Serv" employees doing their departing gate work, and they are the worse I have encountered in my life. Rude, irresponsible, talking back to customers when they dared ask them a question, not caring about anything let alone the comfort of the customers, or advising them of status of departure. As a result, they allowed a line to form for boarding, with all the relevant shoving and pushing, including older people standing and being pushed in line, as the Shy Serv employee went behind the departure desk and THE TIME OF DEPARTURE HAD COME, so it was natural for all to stand up in line thinking they will board, while the ARRIVING PLANE HAD NOT EVEN ARRIVED. And when I realized that (also in line) I asked the Sky Serv employee who appeared as the supervisor, why are they not telling the people that so they can sit down, the answer was "we didn't tell them to stand up"!!! When I told them that I thought it was just considerate to do that, he was joined in defence by his colleagues saying "no-one told you or anybody else to stand up, you and they did". As if this was not enough, when finally the plane came, people debarked, and plane was made ready to board, we were asked to board, only to stop us on the middle of the the boarding bridge and stand there for 15 minutes with no one to tell us anything, until a member of the plane crew came out to advise us of the delay and allow us to proceed to the plane. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FLY TRANSAVIA, or any airline that has "Sky Serv" as it's ground handlers!!!!"

Contras: "Free tea & coffee would be ideal"

Prós: "The crew was personable. Flight was on time."

Contras: "Transavia delayed 1:30h the flight."

Contras: "Boarding at Orly airport was unorganized and cluttered. Flight was delayed (took too long to depart)."

Prós: "I was stranded in Budapest due to weather and was thrilled to find this flight for same day travel, a few hours later and have a decent price!"

Prós: "Cheap ticket"
Contras: "Not even complimentary tap water offered. Horrific boarding method and rude staff shouting at people who were waiting patiently. Very likely they will take your carryon even if you comply with requirements, but after you go through the process of security, which is irritating. If they need space they should offer upon check in."

Prós: "great crew and exellent service"

Prós: "Cheap. Gets you from one stop to the next."
Contras: "Took forever to check in. I know they were under strike at that time but then after waiting for so long and just making our flight, they sent my luggage to Seville Spain. It took 3 full days for me to get my luggage. I contacted via Facebook and email and basically just got the response of I have to wait until it arrives at the airport and the best advice they could give was to call the Seville airport. I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

Prós: "Plane comfort was normal to good."
Contras: "Boarding staff at Orly was disgustingly rude."

Prós: "That I could finally land in Madrid, actually a quick flight!"
Contras: "The delay in the flight, a mess at the time of boarding the plane, just terrible!"

Prós: "Cabin crew professional, efficient and pleasant. Cabin clean, seats comfortable."

Prós: "Overall good experience. Simple flight. Staff at ORY we’re noce and helpful (I had read negative reviews on them. None of them proven right in this flight)."
Contras: "Despite hold baggage was within allowed measures, it was sent as checked baggage (for free). But, to be fair, they do warn you in advance about this."

Prós: "Terrible experience. From sub par USA style security lines to delays, poor boarding.... Gong show."

Prós: "We were sent to Kiwi booking to complete the ticket booking. Flight was canceled due to strike but we weren’t informed this till at the airport. This is likely because airline only has Kiwi contact info and never reached to us. Kiwi also didn’t inform us. We were stuck at airport for 6 hours trying to contact airline. Phone can’t be reached. We talked ied WhatsApp Facebook tweeter. All takes like one hour to get response. In the end flights can’t be rescheduled we had to book new flights ourselves and find hotel to stay. They won’t cover for hotel either. The flights refund is now funded to Kiwi which we also need to find time to argue with Kiwi to get back. DOnt know how long that may take. The overall experience has been terrible"
Contras: "Transavia should have more capacity to hold customers requests. The representative from Transavia at airport provide absolutely no help. Just told us to WhatsApp Transavia. If that’s the approach then more people should be there responding WhatsApp comments not like no response within one hour. Kiwi is of no help as well. If flights get canceled agents should provide us updates as well. When we contacted kiwi in the airport Kiwi even denied flight cancel."

Contras: "Crew were very rude"

Prós: "Gets the job done. Quick flight, well managed. Crew members were nice."
Contras: "The plane looked worn. There's nothing else but a seat. Obviously no food or anything."

Contras: "The major slowness and inefficiency to board and the major delays. Trapped in te plane when they would clearly know that the destination airport would not receive the plane late because of the airport space limitations."

Prós: "The crew was helpful and happy to ask any questions we had when not all announcements came through in English, so we couldn't quite understand them."
Contras: "The check in process was very slow and we spent almost an hour waiting in line. We boarded on time, but then sat on the plane for over an hour because of technical issues. I would rather wait in the airport during those issues, as there is more room to stretch and move about."

Prós: "The staff handled everything really well. Continuously being updated to the delay reasons."
Contras: "Being stuck on a plane on the tarmac for 2+ hours, before being moved to a corridor, and then a bus, and then boarding a new plane. No information about delay compensation or refunds being given. No provisions for providing food or drinks for the toddlers/babies/children that had been kept on the plane for a couple of hours."

Contras: "Quando cheguei ao aeroporto de Gartwik fui até ao guichê da easyget pedir uma informação sobre o meu voo por volta das 5h55m e fui estremamente mal atendida por as funcionárias uma delas até me perguntou se eu não tinhas olhos para ver o placar não me deu a informação que eu pedir não foi nada educação povo sem educação nada profissional"

Prós: "Cumprimento dos horários. Antecipação da hora de chegada."
Contras: "Voo com alguma turbulência. Só deram o aviso uns 10 minutos após ter começado."

Prós: "Because of the fire to the Notre Dame Cathedral, trains were not stopping on the route we needed to get to to the airport. We left with plenty of time to spare, and because no one at the airline mentioned that delays could be a possibility due to this, we ended up missing our flight."
Contras: "I'm not usually one to complain, but this situation was very difficult and even dangerous. There was zero communication from the airline about this, and we'd appreciate if the airline could pay for our new airfare and our Uber ride from the train station to the airport."

Prós: "Everything was fine apart from the delay in flying out. I am a Special Assistance traveller and due to the delay I had a very very long and late journey back home. So the delay added two hours (plus the flight delay) to my trip home from the airport."

Contras: "Customs clearance que was ridiculous, a massive line that was slow moving. Took well over an hour and got out of control as many people on the flight tried to fight there way to the front. I’ve traveled to many many countries over 30 years and it’s one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. The one easyjet person that we could find had no clue and all he could do was try and hurry everyone up which added to the panic and made it worse. I won’t be rushing back to france."

Prós: "I loved being stuck on the plane for 1 hour with no AC whatsoever and being told that there was drama he to the front hold of the plane. Oh! That’s sounds great!"
Contras: "Rude. HOT . It did smell good. they gave me a hard issue with my luggage and I plan to complain and also request compsensation for such a HORRIBLE experience. Honestly it was not good at all!"

Prós: "We had to pay 60$ for our carry on and it probably costed more than our entire ticket. I am so upset and infuriated at the fact that we weren’t warned in advance. The last easy jet flight we took a week ago we didn’t have to pay for our carry on."

Prós: "The crew was very responsive and helpful as my wife and I were traveling with our 14th month old daughter."
Contras: "The multiple gate change, boarding the plane as there was no gate available and everything required a fee from the minute you booked the flight."

Contras: "The ground staff of easyJet were horrible. During boarding, my girlfriend was instructed to fit a carry-on on the "bag size check thing" and it didn't fit (barely). We we're forced to open the bag and put some of the clothes on to make it fit (the most unnecessary thing, since we're carrying the same weight and volume on the plane anyway). If this was not bad enough, after that, we had to check in the luggage anyway because there was no space in the cabin (making the whole process of removing stuff from the luggage even more irrelevant since volume is no longer an issue). EasyJet goes out of their way to inconvenience its costumers so we are forced to pay more to not be harassed by the staff and their random policies. The flight itself: no leg room and no entertainment."

Contras: "Price per bag was about equal to the per passenger price. Carryon rules are absurd. People opened cases to put on 4 layers of clothes and backpacks were placed inside other bags. You DO realize the same items ended up on board, right?"

Contras: "They had us stuck on a bus with no air flow on the tarmac for quite a bit while they sorted things out"
