Contras: "The lack of communication with the employee who had my boarding pass and did not provide the wheel chair. I waited in an area waiting, he moved to another area without letting me know. Finally I nearly made it to the gate, on the bus and on the plane. It did not give me the chance to relax at the lounge as I paid for a business class ticket. I felt not being taken care of properly and as expected."

Contras: "Staff seemed to not care about passengers. Could partially be a language/cultural barrier, but i have consistently noticed staff just want to push through their tasks. Actual service is not a priority it seems. Another issue, often times they run out of food."

Prós: "Entertainment system was great. Plenty of movies, games, & tv shows available. Food was good - two full meals during 10 hr. Flight to and from Chicago. Seats, even in economy, were comfortable. Was very happy to learn that baggage would be checked thru to Denver from Athens, even though plane changes were made in Istanbul and Chicago. The two bags did not make the Chicago/Denver transfer, but were on the next United flight an hour later."

Contras: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

The new flight was definitely double the price that I originally paid and got my to my destination a lot faster than I would have if I had been able to take the original flight. Alitalia was a great, direct flight to my final destination."
Contras: "Of course having a cancelled flight is always a negative but the worst part about my experience was that I waited 2 hours in line before being helped to change my flight, and I was only about 8th or 10th in line. They also only had one person to help everyone at the ticket counter until 2 hours later they added another person. In the end everything worked out and everyone was for the most part really nice but that waiting was annoying."

Prós: "At Lisboa airport, I was checked in by Antonio. Most helpful checkin guy I've ever spoken to in my years of traveling. The food is always impressive (for airline food) and they give you a lot to drink. The last time I flew, there was an Autistic passenger throwing a fit and no one seemed to do anything. This time, a person was really upset with his companion on the flight and began screaming. The attendants helped calm him down and fixed the situation quickly. I guess last time they must've just let it happen because of the disability so there's not much they can do in that situation."
Contras: "Not a big ran of the Turkish Airport. Everything is pretty cheap for an airport though if you bring Turkish Lira. They tend to round the price up a bit if you pay in USD or Euro."

This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contras: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Contras: "Boarding (by bus) was a total chaos. I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."

Contras: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Contras: "at no point when buying my ticket did the site say zero bags were included. In fact, when purchasing it said that information about baggage was not available.Shocked to have to pay 50 dollars for one bag. I am member of Flying Blue. One bag has always been included in the price of a ticket flying transatlantic."

Would have been better to spend that time in the terminal and given credits to buy food, etc. My seat was a regular seat (non exit) and the seat did not recline properly, the USB drive was broken, overall the plane felt unmaintained. The crew was friendly and food was good but I felt not enough was done to accommodate the extra hours we had to wait on the plane."

Prós: "The crew were pleasant and most served with a smile. When I was at the back to stretch my legs, one of the crew asked if I wanted coffee or tea since I was not able to get some sleep during the long flight."
Contras: "I thought the seat seems a bit short but the leg room is ok."

Prós: "The airplane was new, good food and service."

Contras: "Everything. First I wish my flight wasn’t canceled a d then received notice on the same day"

Contras: "I’m not sure if there was WiFi, i wished that would’ve been advertised. If possible can you advertise the drinks and snacks selections. I booked my flight with Lufthansa but it was operated by another company which made it difficult to find"

Contras: "The boarding could definitely be better - customs and an additional security check before the gate was a bit much and caused the flight to depart over 15 minutes late."

Contras: "I am handicap, I travel with a scooter. We let them know months in advance and still they did not plan or assist. My scooter was not brought up in Brussels or DC, I refused to leave the plane in DC until they finally brought it to plane. They sat me in row 38...I can only walk a few feet so the airline failed in every aspect...epuc fail. I will never fly Brussels airlines again."

Prós: "Great service, food and entertainment."

Prós: "After our first flight had been cancelled, we needed to be comforted by Brussels Airlines that our return flight would be OK. And we were. Though there were slight delays due to technical checks at boarding time, everything else was on schedule and we even landed slightly ahead of time, never a bad thing. The flight was smooth and quite pleasurable. Now we are prepared to experience flying with Brussels Airlines again."

Contras: "Good"

Prós: "Good schedules, good prices."
Contras: "They think that a five-hour flight is "intra-European" so they assign tiny little planes with bad seats and cramped rows. Unacceptable."

Prós: "As if our flight from Washington to Brussels was not delayed enough, the flight segment to Accra from Brussels was delayed for almost 2 hours"
Contras: "Almost everything about the trip was impacted one way or the other. Our luggage/bags were partially damaged too, but I decided not to lodge an official complaint."

Contras: "I had problems checking in online and never could assign seats.. had to wait to check in at the booth and got random seats so my husband and I got seperated seats.."

Prós: "The infligt entertainment was good."
Contras: "The staff for SN Brussles is very rude to Africans. They are super disrespectful and it is very obvious how tacist they are. It is uncomfortable flying witha stafflike that. Also our flight had electrical and engine problems at our first stop in Freetown. Once we landed in Monrovia, it took about 35mins for them to let us off the plane because the doors were not working and opening up. Once we finally got off the plane, it took a whole 2 hours for them to get our baggage e off the plane because spmething was wrong and they couldnot access the baggage to take it off. I am aware that planes can “fly with one engine”, but flying a plane with one engine along with it having electrical problems is not safe and A RISK! why take that risk of something bad happening, not only would lives of innocent people and their crew get lost, but that is a million dollar assest that could get lost and a PR nightmare. It is a shame they took that risk. They also dodnt tell us until we landed. Had I known before we took off at Freetown I would have gladly fot off and found another mode of transportation to get to my final destination. SN Brussels is know to send their sh*tty planes to Africa, because there are always problems with the planes heading to that continent. It is just another obvious proof of their racism."

Contras: "Read above!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!"

Prós: "Crew. Entertainment. Food. Leg room was a bit longer than usual."
Contras: "Lack of complimentary food - not even a snack as far as I can remember - for almost 5 hours flight. Really?"

Prós: "Great moives and enteratinment system. Comfy seat. attentive staff on board. Also minimal annoucements, which i love because i don't like to be disturbed in my sleep to hear about the weather."
Contras: "Was stuck on plane for 3 hours before they had to cancel it due to computer issues. Missed connenction flight ( 27 hour delay for connecting flight) with them as well as a result, had to stay 2 extra nights (in great accommodation they provided, at least) had minimal information about what to do in the morning (almost missed the bus to the airport because they only had a little sign noting it) Overall they took care of us from the delays, but I still missed a day and a half of work because of it."

Contras: "Departing out of Brussels International Airport, the security line to LEAVE the country was 3+ hours long. Not sure what the logistical problem was, but it was a poorly handled experience. They also said it was a daily occurrence."

Prós: "Rude and incompetent crew/employees. Early morning flight was delayed 30 min and therefore we missed our connection. Representatives at the Brussels airport were incompetent, slow and misleading and on top of all our suitcases were lost and 24 hours later no one can tell us where they are"

Contras: "Entertainment was weak. Not enough choices. There was a mixup with my food preference. it was not passed on to the flight and they did not have any vegetarian options. Not even fruits. I was even ready to pay, yet nothing."

Prós: "Once on the aircraft, the flight was quite nice. The drinks and food were very good. The flight attendants were very helpful. Having blankets was very nice, since it was very cold in some sections near the toilets. I was selected for supplementary search but the attendants were very efficient and courteous."
Contras: "No one explained why one needed to go through the Brussels Airlines pre-check gate (at gate #40) and have our passports reviewed again and a sticker added. It was a mess. At the gate, it wasn't clear where the boarding lines were compared to the lines to see a desk clerk and no one was around to explain what was going on. We didn't know if there was another check going on or it was a boarding line."

Prós: "The plane took off a few minutes late but arrived on time."
Contras: "We arrived at the airport at 4:30 for 6:25 flight and there were only 3 open windows to check baggage for 4 different airlines. There were over 200 people in line extending out the door and no one was present to explain what was happening. Soon additional clerks arrived and the line began to move, but it took 45 minutes. The gate area was not large enough for all the passengers and there were seats for only a few while we waited and waited."

Prós: "Tons of food"
Contras: "Terrible in flight entertainment selection"

Prós: "Flight from US was wonderful. Plane had everything you would want. Food was good and seats comfortable."
Contras: "Flight from Brussels to Kinshasa was different. It seems for the people of color, there was an old plane. My seat mate TV sCreek did not work. You could tell moldings on seat were very old. one bathroom had no soap, dispenser was broken. I hope this is not your pratice to use your older planes for those traveling to Africa. I will observe this as I travel back to Brussel and on to US."

Contras: "The aircraft was filthy, very dirty, especially the toilet and the sitting area. Terrible food. Very hot, AC did not work well. Outdated movies and TV series."

Prós: "The food, efficient crew"
Contras: "Awful boarding process, one person alone for all the passengers with another 3 around doing nothing, which caused the departure to take place more than an hour late"

Contras: "I didn´t like arriving to Sevilla with no luggage and no explanation of its whereabouts. I appreciate finally getting it 4 days later but I was not happy about me having to spend time and money going back to the airport to get it myself since your company was unable to deliver it to me. I expect full compensation"

Contras: "The seats were completely uncomfortable, they have a leather thing where you put your neck on (on the long flights) which is completely uncomfortable. on one flight there was no entertainment system at all, and in the long one it was fine. Also on one flight while we have already been on the plane the light was delayed by over an hour, because they overbooked or something- it was pretty hell inside, very hot- and no one has even offered a warer. recommendation: avoid."
