The rntertainment choices were very limited unless you enjoy superhero movies or a very limited range of audio/musical selections. So it goes in coach class."
Contras: "Somehow they didn’t serve snacks and drinks, I’ve been being thirsty and hungry, at the last 30mns I felt like I wanna throw up. We landed around 30mns ago and now no gates ready for us to get out of here. Still waiting inside the plane."

Prós: "The seats felt roomier in this smaller plan than the bigger ones and one of the flight attendants was lovely!"
Contras: "It was so dirty! The flight attendant who spoke over the PA mumbled and was not clear at all in anything she said. Maybe she was tired and had a long day but she definitely didn’t seem to want to be there. I didn’t know that you got a receipt with your seat number on it because it wasn’t explained and that was my first time flying Delta in years. Overall one of the worst flights but thankfully it was fast!"

Contras: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

Second plane waited at gate with all aboard for 2-1/2 hours and never got slot and de-planed. Third plane waited 1-1/2 hours for de-Icing and finally we were headed home. Arrived 8.5 hours after schedule."

The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

But pilot was very good about keeping us informed on delays and he was as frustrated as we were."

Contras: "My one piece of hard shell luggage has a special, difficult way of latching. As long as nobody opens it, it stays fine for shipping. The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. Such cave men they are!"
Contras: "The seat was not a flatbed. It was an old fashioned first class seat but with absolutely awful knee room---possibly as little as 28-30 inches. It was very difficult for the person next to the window to get out to the aisle, even when the person in the aisle seat was not sitting there. The biz class cabin was shared with economy comfort. The crew gave no explanation for the switch in aircraft, and no apology either."

Contras: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Prós: "The big deal for me was that I was upgraded (at no cost) to Premium Economy class. I enjoyed the extra leg room and the ability to lie back (further than in regular economy class). The free drinks were also a plus."
Contras: "The only thing I can remark upon is that because someone in front of you can lie back so far, it becomes difficult for the person sitting in the window seat to leave his or her seat without disturbing the person in front of him or her."

Contras: "To italy united by Lufthansa had great Netflix shows, movies and better interface. This flight to Chicago was Germany based, so I understand the international choices, but there was very little to watch in the movie, tv and show categories. Otherwise all great!"

Contras: "The seats in Economy were the most uncomfortable I have ever sat in for such a long time nine and a half hours. All six of us found them to be uncomfortable. No seat bottom cushioning. I had a back pain. Boarding started with the First Class and Business Class first. It took an additional 20 minutes for Economy class to start boarding. The line was very, very long and interfered with other travelers in the airport terminal. "boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped" When we arrived in Denver, only five Custom Agents were on duty to process our arrival passports, although there are 14 control stations at Denver. It appeared as though the Custom Agents were not aware of the arrival of the Lufthansa 747 nor the one that followed. All other Custom in Europe were much more efficient and move people through quickly. What a bad first impress made by the USA Customs people."

Contras: "i could bring checked baggage from Bos-fra, fra-cdg, cdg-fra but it was taken from me on fra-bos flight as being too big! bag came out very late on baggage claim food was poor, they ran out of food, it was served late in my section and there was no choice left. one option only which i could not eat."

Prós: "This was my first international flight, and also first on Lufthansa, and I was thoroughly impressed. We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."
Prós: "Check-in was quick, only 4 parties ahead of me even though I arrived at the airport only 60 minutes prior to departure. Cleared security quickly too. Aircraft new and clean. Breakfast, excellent omelet, and crew extremely attentive to our needs- offering 2 drinks instead of other airlines which just give one and makes you feel that is all you deserve."

Contras: "Constant delays. Lots of waiting and zig zagginf around runway before taking off. Bags took forever to get out. It was a small plane and not full. No reason to wait 40 minutes for bags. Overall unenjoyable flight experience."
Prós: "It was changed from British Air to American Air, which would have been my last choice to fly with. Bad choice!!!!!"
Contras: "No American Airlines! I have trouble with them every time I have used them. Usually their plane breaks down or requires maintenance, which happened again this trip. It made use have to run from customs to the other end of the airport in 10 minutes to make the connection ."

Prós: "Lots of food and wine/beer were provided at no additional cost and the first checked bag was free as is standard with British Airways. Basically I liked that American Airlines followed British Airways standards for the flight."
Contras: "There were no personal entertainment devices, just a central tv for everyone to watch, and there were no charging outlets. The plane was probably from a museum it was so old. After boarding we sat in the plane without moving to the runway for 30 minutes just making the 8 hour flight even longer. The gate at the Lisbon airport was overly small and restrictive with everyone crammed in and unable to leave after initially entering."
Prós: "We were very well looked after by a group of male flight attendants. The plane was clean, calm, quiet and we had all we needed."
Contras: "I purchased a WiFi pass and the WiFi did not work. Since the airplane does not have individual TV’s on each seat, it makes it for a very long flight. I also did not like that the passengers had to take a bus to the airplane and we’re shoved like sardines in a can in 95 degree weather."

Contras: "They started a movie, then restarted the same one an hour into it. After it ended, they played a second movie and cut it off half way to show other programming. Who would bother with a movie knowing only a part of it is being shown? That is disrespectful of our time. Boarding was a mess- everyone at once, most bags put below with luggage even though most overhead compartments were empty."

Never before experience such a low and virtually feel like an inmate, Just because the person in doing so, was profiling and that is NO GOOD , also the airport is filthy and dirty , Nobody Cares...I will not come again as a tourist to that country.. American Airlines should train the staff to be more courteous and not to ask that many questions ..it feels like you where in Siberia.."
Contras: "7.5 hr flight from Lisbon to Philadelphia on a dingy old plane that looks like it hasn’t been retrofitted in close to 20 years, with no charging ports for electronics, which seems insane in this day and age, especially for such long flights. Had no in-seat entertainment systems either, and only offered news and sports on the American wi-fi service — not their usual lineup of movies and TV."
Contras: "The flight was delayed and then the airport in Philadelphia "wasn't aware" that we were coming to it took forever to get off the plane. I would have missed my next flight if they didn't wait for us. Also I couldn't check in online beforehand, which was frustrating. Also I waited in line at the British Airways desk to check in and it was a long line. When I finally got to the front I was told I had to check in at the American Airlines desk and I wish I had been told that earlier. One staff member was rude when I asked him to repeat the food options."

Prós: "Sat at the gate for a while before pushing off. An announcement would be nice. Crammed into tiny seats. Wi fi didn't work (broken yesterday and they didn't fix). Very limited entertainment options on an 8 hour flight."
Contras: "Reasonably on time. Quit trying to sell us credit cards. How about improving the flying experience?"
Contras: "Confusion when boarding. Uncomfortable seat. No entertainment on a international flight! What kind of person thinks that is a good idea? I thought I will be flying British Airway for the flight back home that is why I bought this whole flight ticket. If I had known it will be AA flying back, I would fun as far away as possible."
Prós: "Not much here. The seats were ok, but the rest of the flight the airline was just poor."
Contras: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Contras: "Our seats were overbooked , causing us to almost miss our international connection. The staff were somewhat rude, but did try to solicit volunteers to give up seats and eventually the 4 passengers in my party did fly. But it was a very stressful 1hour until the issue was settled!"

Prós: "We got delayed 2 hours, we got very early to the airport, went to the gate, all the sudden they change the gate number and didn't tell nobody, we got delayed 2 hours and they didn't say nothing. we had perfect weather in NY so I don't understand the delay. The crew members were not friendly, the airplane was so old, my daughter called "the dinosaur" is the airplanes from the 70"s . This was my first time flying with this airline and I don't think Ill do it again. We were going to a wedding in Madrid and we miss it for the delayed."

Contras: "I was scheduled to leave Lisbon at 11:45 am however at 6am I received a call to say my flight was cancelled and I was booked on the British Airways flight the next day at 7:30 am. This after AA had turned my flight on the way out around on the way from Austin to Paris and we had to spend the night in Chicago."

The boarding process was a bit crazed, we were put on buses in no particular priority order and dropped off at the plane to all board at the same time!"

Contras: "They took me off my flight because my previous flight arrived to Toronto late and I manage to get to the gate 10 minutes before the departure. Even though it was late because of Air Canada’s fault, the airline did not bother to accommodate me and made me to wait for next flight for 4 hours, without any compensation."

As soon as we got to Montreal, we were told due to ice in Montreal Air Canada had been cancelling flights and many connections couldn't be made all day. By that time it was too late to call Vancouver and set up alternative plans for the following day, which is when we would finally leave Montreal."
Prós: "flight to montreal had plenty of space, service was great, F& B selection was nice too, flights departed and arrived on time."
Contras: "Return flight was more cramped. F&B service was SUPER slow."
Prós: "The flight attendants were very nice and helpful. When they passed out dinner my husband and I were asleep, we woke up when they were serving drinks (right after). They got us our food. On our flight over however we didn't get options on food since they had run out. The flight crew was nice though."
Contras: "Unbeknownst to either of us the Air Canada Rouge is a low cost carrier international flight. It didn't have a player in the seat, or even old school TV's. You had to use your own device on their WiFi which was SLOW and the sound went out. The seats are small with very little leg room. I'm 5'1 (156cm) and my legs almost touched the seat in front of me. Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."
Prós: "Crew was friendly and helpful. Very efficient with check in process. This leg of flight was operated by TAP."
Contras: "No online check in. Long line to check in. Plane was 30 mins. Late leaving and then had to wait ten minutes to offload. This made us very late for connecting flight which We just made as they closed the door behind us. People that were slower getting through customs did not make the connection."
Contras: "Grouchy attendants....even though I did my best to stay out of their way or interact positively, they were determined to be brusque and uncooperative. I understand they have a tough job to do, but pushing past people who are in the process of getting out of their way (even holding a baby!) is uncalled for. This happened not once, but 3 or 4 times in the course of the flight to my traveling companion and me."
Prós: "Our flight was delayed an hour and a half about 18 hours before takeoff which was communicated to us before we got to the airport, so we got to sleep in later. We were unable to make our connecting flight because of the delay, but when we arrived in Toronto I had an email waiting to tell me that they had put us on another flight, which was direct, that would get us home at the same time we had been originally scheduled. The agent that we talked to once we got to Toronto also tried to get us on standby to another flight that would have gotten us home two hours earlier! Also, our bags made it home too after all of the changing! Great service, nice to have a charging station on board and the food was edible."
Contras: "That there were a lot of delays, but I'm sure that was beyond Air Canada's control as Toronto airport workers were on strike."
Contras: "Longest check-in line I've ever waited in. Pure chaos and lack of organization. Plane boarded from both sides, creating boarding chaos. Unexplained hour delay on the runway."
Contras: "I did not like the crew in Casablanca airport . They were so slow and they did not help the travelers to get to the boarding on time. It seems that they don't even care about their passengers. Air canada needs to improve the professionalism of their crew in Casablanca, and the quality of service provided."

Contras: "On my outgoing flight, the audio jack was broken at my original seat, so they offered for me to move to the only available seat. Unfortunately, that TV broke after about an hour. I noticed that there were several TVs around me that also were having issues. On a long flight- 5+ plus hours, a TV with movies can be extremely helpful! If the technology had been kept functional, it would have been a much more tolerable flight."
Prós: "The most important thing of course is that we arrived safely of course. The plane was clean, the staff members were polite."
Contras: "The seats were so small and terribly uncomfortable. I looked it up and it seems they are some of the smallest seats in the industry. They packed the dreamliner with more seats than it was meant for, making it really cramped for an international flight. Most people had to sit with their feet in their chair because it was so uncomfortable, and my knees were jammed up into the back of the seat in front if I put them down. And I'm only 5'7" so I can't imagine what it would be like for people 6' and above. The seats are hard, narrow and sloped at an odd angle. The bathroom design is poor - the lids of the toilets will NOT stay up and come crashing down on your back when you sit down (disgusting!!). I tried 4 toilets before I could find one that worked without the loose lid. Also the food was really inferior. It is the worst food I have had on an international flight, and I have flown many trips including Delta, Emirates, British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, etc. There was also a much smaller movie selection than I am used to. Overall it seemed like a budget airline and was one of my least comfortable trips."

Prós: "The crew tried hard to give me more salad and bread since they didn't have a vegan option and meat was mix with the hot meal."
Contras: "In order to have a vegan or any special meal they ask you to call 48hs before. I've done online but the site I used for booking didn't pass the options requested. Then at checking counter they can't add it not even the return flight. This option should be able to be added anytime! Then why they can't put the meat aside for the hot plate so at least we could eat the rest. Also when preparing vegan or vegetarian meals you can just give cookies and cakes or white pasta! Any meal should be balanced, as for vegen meals it also have to have some vegetal complete protein combination."
Prós: "Safety belt actually fit around my waist - I am a bigger person"
Contras: "I was on isle staff kept on bumping into me (not purposely) They need to take time to ensure they are not bumping clients"

And, the check-in was terrible improvising."

Contras: "Better Quality Food Needed The salted plate served was sub-standard. Also, it was full of salt and poses health risk for many people. In the past, better food was served including a pot pie. Also, the staff should be more aware of the wines to be served. And there is not enough attention paid to service in the executive cabin as the attendant runs back and forth between both cabins."
