Rather than addressing this bags were flung everywhere no nowhere within your actual reach during the flight. Very annoying when you are a passenger who does the right thing."

Staff is always friendly and happy...they really seem to absolutely love their job! Free toiletries in the bathrooms are an extra plus. Whenever there was a change in schedule / plans the captain informed the passengers immediately about what was going on and what would happen next."
Contras: "The only thing that did and probably always will be AWFUL is going thru security at JFK. The T S A officials there are unfriendly, sometimes rude, never smiling and often yelling at you or even little kids or elderly people. We are travelling a lot and no other security staff at any given airport is so unfriendly and harsh. Worst thing about going on a journey."

Contras: "I purchased this ticket without realizing that the law stipulated 6-month validity remaining on one's US passport to enter singapore. The Singapore Airways website does not state this anywhere, and it was not until I arrived at the airport that I was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in, but nor could I refund or transfer the ticket. The booker should be obliged, when one enters the passport information upon purchasing the ticket, to make note if the passport expiration time is not valid for the flight. Spent $600+ on the flight, and the customer service person I spoke to from the airport was very abrasive and not interested in helping me figure out an alternative."

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

I carried my cabin bag from Seattle with weight of 9kgs and purchased few duty free items of 2kgs(2 liquor bottles and1 dates box). They have asked me to pay $150 for excess weight. One passenger traveled from Houston with a bag of 11kgs. Items include 1 laptop documents and tablet. She didn't shop in Dubai. She was allowed in Houston but was charged $100 in Dubai for same weight."

Contras: "Lately all Swiss flights I have taken are late. This last one was 1 hour late. No more sandwich is offered, or even chips or peanuts. The only drink available for free was a glass of water! Not even a small bottle!! Bye bye Swiss service!"

Contras: "I do not understand why arriving to checkin with 90 min, on a DIRECT flight, in business class they can decide to not lead luggage at ZRH. We had to wait for all luggage to come out, then go to lost and found, what is more puzzling is that then they tell you the luggage will be loaded on next flight, arrive at night, but will not deliver it until after 3PM on next day. This is flying business class. Swiss begins to feel like a low cost"

Prós: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Contras: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Contras: "The business class seats were just like the economy class, not wider or extra space, only an empty seat in between, not worth the money. The first flight from Cairo to Zürich, no meal or snack was offered. Very disappointed in Swiss business class"

Contras: "There was a short delay on take off but we arrived on time. The only problem that I encountered half way into a long tiring flight, I lost the volume on the entertainment system. The stewardess tried to reset it but it didn't work. I was asked to change seats but it was too much of a hassle. Was a bit disappointed. Not there fault."

Prós: "Passengers completely ignored the commands of the crew and crew was unable to take control of the crowd (passengers refused to follow crew's multiple demands to sit down during the high turbulence, finally crew gave up to force passengers to take a sit). Several times, standing passengers fell on the sitting ines. When at the end of the flight, the issue was pointed out to the captain and supervising flight attendant, both became aggressively defensive to the point of being rude."

Suggest more time for transfer in the future or someone to guide passengers. We were nit the only ones. However, we did make it as did the others ( luggage too!)so kudos to swiss for waiting"

Contras: "We were not allowed to board our connecting flight and are stranded currently at the Istanbul airport and had to book our next flight with indigo as the staff closed the boarding ahead of time even though we were on time. Lot of shouting and crying by other passengers happening for the same reason."

Contras: "Too exhausted from the long flight. But really wanted to say - Never flying them again after my itinerary is completed. They have just lost any revenue they would ever have gained from me in the future."
Contras: "I will never forget Turkish airlines again. They stole our money. We were at our flight on time but they wouldn't let us board. They then said we were no shows and cancelled all our remaining flights with no refund. This ended up costing us around $3000. We don't have this kind of money and I don't know how we will pay rent next month."
Prós: "The planets and stars we're aligned to provide an optimal trip. Price was a huge determinant for me...$800 RT Houston to Delhi just can't be beat. And, their arrival time into Delhi is so early (5: 20 am) that customs and immigration is a breeze."

Contras: "The air conditioner was on full blast for a trip to Istanbul, Turkey from NYC. It was very uncomfortable and I could not get any sleep because I was freezing the whole way. Seriously, two sweaters and a blanket did not help. My hands were so cold I the entire time."
Contras: "Turkish Airlines does not communicate with its passengers. If the flight is late (as both of ours were), you wait with no information as to when the flight leaves. The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information. Arrived in Istanbul with a very tight connection. Airplane was not given a gate so we needed to take a bus to terminal. The bus dropped us just about as far from our connecting gate as possible. Since it took four buses to transport passengers, one could have been designated for US bound transfer passengers (who were all leaving from same group of gates) and taken us directly there."

I had to jump to the front of the line or I would have missed my connection despite having a 90 minute window of time to make it through. It seems this airport lacks the capacity needed to get people through efficiently based on the numbers of travelers using it."
Contras: "I am a pilot in uniform flying with a business class ticket and missed my next flight because I had to check my bag because it was 9 kilos. There was not one over head bin that had anything in it. No other airline that I travel on treated me like that it was humiliating and frankly never will chose Turkish again."

Contras: "We ONLY have one carry on and one bag, no check-in luggage. On the way back to New York from Rome, total weight my carry-on and bag is less than < 20kg. They forced me to check-in my carry-on. As everyone know, my beautiful, new carry-on was scratched badly when I pick it up at NY JFK :("
Prós: "This was my first time flying with Turkish Airlines, and I had a great experience. I travel internationally a lot and it has been by far the best airline I have been on. I love flights that give you a hot towel when you arrive, so that was a big plus in my book. The flight stewards were so helpful both on and off the flight. The food was delicious. Movie selections were freat ad well."
