Finally got advised on driving to the airport to make the flight change at the Swiss Air counter at O’Hare. The representative told me to bring a note from doctor to switch flights. I did the next day. The same representative looked me in the eye after advising the day before and said there’s nothing she could do. Why make an elderly sick person drive to the airport again if you know already you cannot help??Absolutely terrible experience, no help from the airline or travel agency. Contras: "I had a carry-on sized bag which would have fit in the overhead compartment. I was told that it would not fit the Swiss Air compartment, thus was forced to check it at the gate. I expressed my concern that it would get lost (thus the reason I never opt to check bags) and was assured "They are very efficient in Zurich." When we arrived in Madrid, my bag was not at the carousel. I was told at Customer Service that it was on another flight, but that they could deliver it to my Airbnb between 4-7 pm. I had to wait there instead of enjoying my vacation to wait for my bag. The bag did not arrive until 10:30 pm. I did not have my clothes or belongings with me all day. Swiss Air in particular needs to update their overhead compartment regulations, as my bag definitely would have fit there, and could have avoided this entire situations."

His very hairy large belly was touching my daughters head every time. He and his children punched the backs of our seats on a regular basis. My back was in constant pain and I was unable to do very many things due to the back pain during my "vacation", The flight attendants had to remind the parents that their children could not stand on the seats during takeoff or crawl around under the seats. No ability to change seats or I would have. I didn't have a problem with the other children on the flight, when they were crying their parents tried to do something. However these people brought playdough for their child to roll out or punch on the seat tray and all they did was constantly yell loudly at their children, Well not about the kicking, punching, or crawling around. Just yell in general at them."

They took great care to get people what they wanted, and I saw them fulfill a few special requests from the people around me politely and quickly. The entertainment selections were good. The variety of interesting musical selections allowed me to go the whole flight without running down the battery on any of my own musical devices. The seat space was comfortable, especially compared to domestic flights I've taken for the last 10 years. The enforcement of carry-on luggage rules meant the overhead compartments were sufficient for what was brought aboard and people weren't filling the foot-space with bags."

I think it would be great if Istanbul airways cooperated with the Yotel so transit passengers could stay in the airport. They helped me to get a visa and they say it will be reimbursed, but all of those things took time when I was so exhausted after a long flight. Overall, it was wonderful to have that opportunity to rest and shower on a long wait, but it would be even better if it was closer and it was clear ahead of time that a visa would be needed."

Contras: "This was the worst airline I have flown with. I booked my tickets last minute, it was for me and my 4 month old son. I had 3 suitcases a stroller and 2 carryons. I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

Complaint filed with Turkish airline resulted in nothing. I made several calls for update and only repose I got was we will send an email to the complaint dept. and you will here in 24 hours. This has been going on for over 5 days with no contect, update or resolution. Once back in the US, I plane to file a formal complaint with FAA and more. DO NOT take this airline. They are worst airline I have ever used and will never use it again."

I always appreciate it when my initial flight books my check-in to my final stop and gives me all my boarding passes at once and Delta did just that. They were also really good at communicating updates like changes to the gate."

It can definitely make you feel nervous but just remember that the new covid restrictions are stressful for flight staff just as much as they are stressful for you. Be cooperative and honest and you shouldn't have any problems."

He neither said yes nor no, but rather completely ignored what I said and just poured my drink and moved on. I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird."

Contras: "CONSTANT ANXIETY!! Our flight to Chicago was delayed. By 2 hours. This normally is not a big deal but it caused us to miss our connecting flight from Munich to Bremen. Then our new flight with a later time to Bremen was cancelled 20 minutes prior to boarding with no more flights to this area. The service center helped us redirect another flight to Hamburg, Germany. We had to fly to Vienna and then to Hamburg. We made it to Vienna after a 40 minute delay however, this delay caused us to miss our connecting flight once again. We were placed on an early flight the next morning to Hamburg which was an easy flight. When we got to luggage in Hamburg we noticed our luggage was missing. Supposably still in Munich. We then missed this flight and missed out on valuable time with friends who live in Germany."

Did appreciate the effort to supply a gluten free meal, unfortunately someone added whole wheat crackers ( luckily still in wrapper ). The boarding area was mixed with people trying to get to New Jersey at the next gate making it very crowded and confusing, people found themselves in the wrong line."

Contras: "Boarding was a disaster as my companion was selected for random search which held us up as there was no urgency to process us. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."

Contras: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

Contras: "The flight was a chartered flight . Air France informed us that due to cabin crew shortage they couldn't operate an air france flight and hence they hired Air Belgium. Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

In fact, when purchasing it said that information about baggage was not available.Shocked to have to pay 50 dollars for one bag. I am member of Flying Blue. One bag has always been included in the price of a ticket flying transatlantic."

Contras: "The company simply lets passengers board a fulled booked flight with far too much luggage. Result, take off 20 minutes late because there was not enough room for luggage in the overhead compartments. I was flying with just a small backpack that went under the seat"

Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Contras: "Flight was late. Boarding very slow. Entertainment was ok by today's standards. Each seat had a display, but movie selection was not great. For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good. I did not find the seats comfortable."
Prós: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Contras: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Contras: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Prós: "There were 4 of us flying from Atlanta, there was a great amount of leg room, tvs were nice, remote control for the tv fit into the seat, the way the plane was laid out, the 4 of us sat in a middle row, which meant no window seat (which my sister was disappointed), dinner options were great, wine was complementary"
Contras: "My only problem was that there wasn't any air flow and until someone told them how hot they think it is, it was a very sweaty situation. I couldn't sleep because of how hot it was and I didn't think to tell the crew because I didn't know they would care."
