Contras: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

There was a long wait, first, just to get on the plane, then, instead of letting us stay in the waiting area, we were all seated, and left waiting for at least an hour, most of that time without explanation, sitting in a stifling plane at the gate, without being allowed to get up and move around. Also, the ratio of carbohydrates to protein in the main meal was way out of kilter. I don't want rice + potatoes + bread + crackers all in one meal, with zero vegetables. The tiny piece of cheese helped."

Sitting around rows 19/20 means that even on an a two hour flight, you risk attendants never reaching you with the trolley."

Prós: "Highlight of the trip was BA's inflight safety video."
Contras: "I took a BA flight after a while. I had stopped flying BA in flight service and comfort was poor. I travel business class. Seats were dated (seat cushions), plane was dated, inflight entertainment systems dated (compared to most other airlines). Crew goofed up on food. I had a seat change which I informed the Sr Purser who came to take food order, his colleague who came to serve drinks. Still the server gave my food to the other passenger who had requested to change seats. Which resulted in no food for me. They clamoured some meal fro economy class and served so shabbily (only a pic can show how shabby it was - unfortunately I can't attach one here). In spite of all this the purser showed no remorse or offered no apology. I think I made a mistake in choosing BA, should have never come back to them."

Contras: "BA lost one of my checked bags and made it impossible to get help. Called numbers over 30 hour period in both destination city and BA phone numbers for lost baggage and no one answered. I had to travel back to the airport counter to deal with agents that basically told me there were thousands of bags in the warehouse and that the bag May or May not eventually turn up."

Prós: "The inflight crew was great. The film sound failed part of the way into the flight."
Contras: "The boarding was chaotic and confused. Many passengers complained. But the MUCH bigger issue was we weren't told until we got to the airport that NO bags were included as part of the fare. We had three (we are traveling around the world). Yes, when I looked back at the bottom of the reservation there was a note that said bags not included, but as this is such a significant thing, I think it should be made much clearer. I direct feature films and travel a great, great deal. I rarely make my own reservations, to be fair, but I still think this is worth noting. In the end I just bumped my wife and I up to Business class, but for others who can't afford it, I think you should make this clearer. I will write to your facebook page etc later in the hope you will get the message. That said, again, your flight crew was great."

Contras: "The BA crew at the check in needs improvement. BA has different standards from other carriers that make it confusing. Bag sizes for on board carry on luggage accepted by other carriers are not accepted by BA. So you can fly in with one carrier and then BA says that the bag cannot go on the flight. In a different flight our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to the next day. I have been trying to find out how to get compensated for this as it says on their website and have not been able to do that yet."

Contras: "I bought a return ticket for my daughter to fly to Amsterdam for the summer. I was allowed to purchase this flight from Kayak and BA from ATL to LON to AMS. Departure was for the end of May to the end of August. When we were checking in the attendant told us that the ticket was no good and we had to purchase another ticket because the travel was over 90 days. At no time did BA or Kayak let us know this information but had no problem selling us this ticket. We were literally extorted for another $1000.00 so she could depart. Shameful! Will not be using your site or BA ever again."

Contras: "I asked for coffee. Paid 4 pounds for it, it was AWFUL. not brewed, no taste, bitter, no cream available to add to it. If you charge such prizes, you better offer decent coffee. I can get late or capuchino at Starbucks for less and far better quality."

Contras: "Horrible flight; no complimentary soft drinks are served, not even better. The baggage did not arrive and Iberia does not even deliver the baggage, even though the fault was theirs. You have to go to the airport to recover the baggage. I would NOT RECOMMEND this airline to anyone. The plane was quite old and there are no screens on the seats. One of my worst experiences flying in the last 40 years."

Contras: "Having the seat by the bathroom. Even though passengers were instructed not to form a line, they did and were encroaching in my personal space for the majority of the flight. Though this is not an airline issue, it did effect the comfort of the 4.6hr flight."

Contras: "I am an American who flew roundtrip Chicago - Madrid. We (family of 3) still haven't received our lost luggage from 2 weeks ago. When we checked in at Madrid, one staff told us to ask about the luggage downstairs at the luggage retrieval, which we are not allowed into. I came back and another staff woman told us to immediately go through immigration, because it takes so long to get through. Since our luggage appears to be lost for good, we will never take Iberia again. Madrid airport is a nightmare! We arrived at Madrid airport 2 hr 20 min. before our flight. Because the distance from the check-in counter to the plane is unbelievably far, and we all have to wait in very long lines, and then take multiple trains, escalators, and finally a bus, and U.S. passengers have their passports checked twice in long lines, we got on to the plane barely in time, on "last call" 30 min. before it took off. We will never fly through Madrid again! On any other trip from Spain overseas, we will choose some other city in Spain to leave from."

Prós: "Our flight to Bologna via Madrid on Iberia Airlines was wonderful from take off to landing! Friendly, courteous staff. Good food and entertainment."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "The people from Iberia told us to pay what we had to pay and that they'll give us our money back when we return. They payed me only for the taxi but for anything else. I lost more money than I was expecting and the people returnung the miney back to its clients were so disrespectful I really donmt want to use Iberia again."

Contras: "It took a long time to board the plane and there was literally no line at the boarding gate. When I mean there was no line, its not that there were no people, its that we stood grouped together, because there was not enough space for everyone, so no line could form. So people simply cut in front of each other and there was quite a bit of anger and tension.Once we were on board, and seated, they came through and provided a meal. However after about 3 hours, I wanted to get some water to take medicine and I pushed the call light to get the flight attendant to come over and it was literally 45 minutes before anyone came into the economy portion. All of the flight attendants were either in first class, or hiding somewhere else. As one point 5 call lights were on and no one came. My wife got up and started looking for someone and finally I got water to take my pills. Almost an hour after I hit the call button. When the flight attendant came, I asked her if it was possible to purchase a soda, crackers, or anything as my blood sugar was low. She said there is nothing available for purchase, and did not offer anything. The only help I received was from a fellow passenger who offered a candy bar. I can not believe that there was nothing the attendant could offer me. I was willing to pay 10 euros for a soda, and they still said no. That is unacceptable."

Contras: "No sound in TV, and no way to adjust subtitle languages (that I could ding). Pretty long delay standing in line to board."

Prós: "airlines could have mentioned that the second leg would require going thru security again and would take a very long time and that I should do this immediately after disembarking even though a gate had not yet been assigned. As A consequence of an intensive interview process before boarding the international leg of the trip (initially only two reps processing everyone on the plane for a few minutes each) the plane left the gate late. It also lost another 15 -20 minutes in flight making it 30 minutes late and I missed my connection in Miami necessitating me to spend a night in a motel and finish my flight the next day."
Contras: "Had the crew enabled me to be first off the plane I would have made the connection but I lost an additional 20-25 minutes being seated in the rear of the plane"
