Entertainment wasn't working good: extremely laggy when it was working ... Seats are way too short. You got the neck support into the upper back ... And I am only 1.80m. Overall, I am done with Swiss until they upgrade their planes. Wifi was 99usd for 220 mo ... what a joke. A 20+yo plane for a such reputated company. There was still the ashtrays inside the restrooms."

Prós: "Paid in advance 45.00 a seat to reserve! Otherwise they assign at Check-in! Still ended up with a standard not premium seats in center. I chose 2 side seats online but plane must have changed. Literally could not move. My travel partner ended up spilling wine on himself primarily due to this and 1/2 size drop down trays. Call button brought no help , had to get up and go retrieve steward in back myself!"

BUT flight attendants came by with water while we were seated and offered chocolate, which I really liked. It wasn't the worst thing for me, but I can see how it's annoying."

Swiss Air will not correct the small free space capacity (both pitch and width) most assuredly. Thus, I now fully appreciate why fellow travelers embrace airplane knee protectors. "Don't leave home without them," especially on Swiss Air (emphasis added) !"

Contras: "An hour late, not Swiss fault but Captain continued to broadcast 5-10 minute delays. Just say it's going to be an hour, then we can all turn our phones back on and go to the lavatory."

I got a smile out of her eventually but the whole process seemed wrong considering the amount of money i spent on that ticket:( Wish whomever I got to first at the counter were able to make the change and spare me the walking around and waiting."

Prós: "Service-first class! The hosts did their best to keep me comfortable after my operation. My TV system did not work at all and there was no sound. This was not addressed. The directions were not clear on the control machine. It did not say to keep pressing start after each activity The flight was ice cold during the entire journey. I was told that if the pilot put on a little heat the others would complain."
Contras: "Food was the worst I've had on a European flight. I ordered special food that had n0 preservatives because of my stomach ailment. I got Molly's special pre packed horrible food all through the flight filled with preservatives and prepackaged. I therefore didn't eat anything. They kept giving me kosher food on top of it . That was worse. I did not order kosher food! So on my entire flight, I ate nothing. The hostess finally found a left over but it was horrible as well. A tiny salad with plain head lettuce, not like the Lufthasa food. This continued into breakfast. Molly food was unhealthy and inedible. I ate one piece of packaged cheese for the entire journey."

Prós: "I request tow time for Hindu vegi 1st when I booked and 2nd one day befor my departure with costumer service and they confirm because last tme i flue in outher airline and i had same problem and i hard good things about Swiss air but I was very unhappy and dicipoint in my flight they told me they didn't have eany information for my special .request For my bussness i fly two times a year to India next time lam not suor I will fly with Swiss air"

Prós: "the food was good and i like not having to deal with private screening from tablets."
Contras: "The space between rows are uncomfortably narrow (and I am a short person). It also does not help when the attendants would not want to disturb a sleeping but have no problem allowing us to eat off a tray with our forehead touching the back of the seat in front. This happened to me on the entire journey on Swiss from Miami to Zurich to Cape Town. It is almost a health hazard not being able to move and forget about trying to even use a laptop because when the person in front recline her seat, you have no room to even type (and my laptop was only a 13 inch Mac.) I am a million miler on United and this is one of the most miserable flights that I have taken. I also don't like the fact that we cannot get seat assignments until 23 hours before departure- not even for preferred travelers."

Contras: "On 4/23/2016 I missed connecting flight from Zurich to Zagreb because Miami - Zirich flight delay and horribly slow security in Zurich. To make the issue worse "somebody" (???) automatically deleted ny return ticket portion."

There is no way to get into the "brace for impact position" with arms over your head and head in your lap! This is really unsafe, not to mention really uncomfortable. The flight was long, so comfort would be nice! Our first flight was regular seats and I was pretty miserable and I am a slender woman 5'6". The extra 3" was great, and we had to pay more on the return trip. The FAA should be investigating seat size and safety on planes."

Prós: "Good notification re a 30 Minute delay. Obtaining board passes was a breeze and love where I can save the passes to my wallet on my mobile device. Flight crews were helpful, cheerful and professional."

Contras: "The complimentary headset breaks easily. Tray table was broken and they can't fix it. Very small bathrooms, knees almost touch the door when sitting down. Food selection for dinner ran out quickly, resulting in only 2 choices and one is hot spicy, so basically only one choice. All beverages are given out in small cups, even water is given out in small cups increments (finish in one gulp), they don't even give out small bottles of water. No complimentary packet (eye shades, socks etc.) , not even a barf bag for collecting trash."

Contras: "Entertainment system was good, and I felt that you appeared to have more leg room in economy than other airlines."

Prós: "The people at Check-in were fantastic - found out you have to check-in more than an hour before flight. They close an hour before to taking bags for international flights. Although right at an hour was late, they reopened for us."

Prós: "Superior comfort, class, and style. The crew was friendly and accommodating, the pilots kept you up to date with flight info and departure/arrival time (and kept the seat belt light off almost the entire trip), the food was delicious and offered throughout, and the entertainment was top notch. Seats were comfortable (we had bulkhead row Space+ and they were worth every cent for the international long haul from LAX-BNE and SYD-LAX) and everyone got a pillow/blanket. We got premium noise-canceling headsets, water, and a little care kit including an eye mask and earplugs and a pen to fill out your travel documents. The overhead bin space was huge and we got two free checked bags of luggage up to 50lbs each (I don't know of that's standard or not, or if it came with Space+ seats). SERIOUSLY the best airline."
Contras: "Absolutely nothing. For a long haul flight, Virgin Australia is TOP NOTCH!"

Contras: "I found the seats on this Virgin Atlantic A340 flight from LHR (London Heathrow) to LAX (Los Angeles), an eleven hour flight, to be unacceptable. The seats were very crowded. I am six feet tall, and was very uncomfortable all during the flight. I could not sit with my knees together. I had to spread my knees to sit comfortably. Holding that position for eleven hours was very uncomfortable. Anyone taller than me would have even more trouble. Also, every seat has a very large box underneath, I presume for the audio/video system. This is a terrible location. There is very little room to stow anything. But much worse, I couldn't straighten my right leg. All-in-all, I found the seat situation totally unacceptable. I will likely never fly Virgin Atlantic again because of this."

Getting luggage in place used to be a simple and minor issue, now it occupies much of the time, energy, and attention of the cabin crew as well as the gate crew. I realize this is making money for Delta but the cost is being paid by people being hit in the head with luggage and the crew's unavailability to deal with other issues."

Snacks were horrible and I have a delta card and was charged $29 to get in plus a charge for my extra suitcase. It’s ridiculous given the amount of money I spend on m card on the monthly basis. Very disappointing"

Prós: "We were traveling with a 4 month old lap infant, and the crew went out of their way to warm bottles and be friendly in general. The plane was clean and comfortable, and on this leg of our trip the entertainment system actually worked!"
Contras: "The only bad things were those that were totally out of Delta's control: weather delays and absolutely nasty and rude TSA agents who seemed to understand neither the concept of their Pre-Check system (no dedicated lines and no priority) nor the fun of traveling with an infant."

Prós: "I am not one who enjoys flying. I don't think there ever will be a time that I enjoy flying. However, the pilot, stewards, and all other workers on delta were very nice."
Contras: "I don't like flying so there really wasn't anything I liked."

Prós: "Loved the new aircrafts, the flight attendants were friendly and attentive. We landed 40 mins earlier than expected, the captain really sped the whole way and I didn't feel a thing!! The landing didn't even feel as though we were speeding...one of the best flights I've ever had (Jessica England) thank you!"
Contras: "Food options, early morning flights I get you're not going to have real food, but can there be an option to purchase a bagel with cream cheese or croissant, something other than a snack box. I understand the flight is under 3 hours so certain foods aren't available but Delta you upgraded everything else. I enjoy the Tapas box for those that are vegan, kosher, gluten free, etc....PS-the bathrooms are smaller"

Prós: "Exit row seat with no seat in front. Was able to stretch legs."

Prós: "Efficient boarding and unloading. Friendly staff. Good movies/tv shows."
Contras: "There was a storm so we flew in circles for over an hour. I didn't see headphones for the tvs (mine are bluetooth so they didn't work)."

Contras: "Plane was dirty when boarding and older than usual with a broken intercom speaker above us - squawking volume that rang every time the captain or seatbelt light came on. Staff were loud throughout this evening flight where everyone tried to get some shut eye. NOT kid friendly. overhead bins didn't fit the standard carry on correctly requiring everyone to place them sideways with wasted space and therefore not enough luggage room for everyone, crowding an already fully booked flight. A few more reasons why we'll never fly delta again"

Prós: "Upgraded to first class so had more room, nicer seats. No lines at TSA, had the first gate past security so a short walk. Nice shopping and food choices."
Contras: "No meal served on flight, only drinks and cookies / popcorn. No entertainment at all. You have to provide your own device. There was wifi but not free, it was so slow I couldn't download the entertainment app, so I gave up and slept. No access to Delta lounge with domestic first class WTF?"

Contras: "Only food available was pretzels. Not even peanuts or cookies."

Contras: "I booked with Delta who doesnt give you limits of weight for the carryon...why since the flight was operated from Airfrance they gave me limits of weight of 12 kg??? one ticket one law pls again, the hostess in my row was very nice, even the steward who was working with her very snob...it's not his job"

Prós: "The hotel I had to stay I. Because of a delayed flight was nice"
Contras: "Delay, delay, delay, delay, no show on the crew so cancelled, delay, delay, delay only to arrive in a different city from my original place of arrival just to go home."

Contras: "The least leg room in any flight I’ve taken. We had requested vegetarian and the flight from Frankfurt to Nairobi gave our meal to other passengers.they told us we had to eat the best dish or nothing. This on an 8 hour flight."

Contras: "This was one of the worst Lufthansa crews. You could not pay them to care. Many years of flying LH this is the first time I encounter such poor service."

Prós: "The crew was Ok except at the beginning when they could help more inside the plane with finding the seating."
Contras: "I missed the plane shopping because i don’t recall seeing the crew after the meal offering it. I heard the announcement at the beginning of the flight so I was looking forward to make purchases. Later when I asked it was already closed."

Prós: "Nothing in particular stands out about our flight. We've flown many airlines, Aeroflot, British Air, Delta, Iceland Air and KLM recently. Lufthansa was right in there with the middlet of the pack, with the exception of Iceland Air, which would be at the bottom, but they make no pretenses. The seats, even in the basic economy, which we had,reclined and were comfortable; good legroom. Food and drink offerings were standard. Amounts were small, but everything was the right temperature. Restrooms were clean and well equipped. Movie offerings, not many newer releases. Nothing like Sky news, so you couldn't check weather or current events. Crew was courteous and attentive,"
Contras: "Boarding at Frankfort left much to be desired. First off, the equipment was not ready; we waited 45 min. to board after we got to the gate (early) and due to turbulence over the Atlantic, the pilots could not make up the time. We are senior citizens. We, along with about 25 others in our category, responded to the call for us to get in line to board, stand for 30 min. The gate personnel did not provide any information that boarding was NOT imminent at that point, so you had to stand up to keep your place. Finally, once the boarding for people needing assistance began, we got to choose between using 2 flights of stairs (a faster way to get into the plane) or an elevator to board the plane. (Hello! We have trouble with things like stairs; don't you know that?) The elevator accommodated one wheelchair and 2 or 3 people at a time. More waiting in the jetway to get down to the plane! The whole boarding process took 90 min. from the time we stood up to the time they closed the doors. Bad grades for the the cleaning crew making us wait so long, for the gate personnel for keeping us in the dark and the disorganized process boarding. Nobody cared about our discomfort, not what we would have expected from LH. Consequently, we've revised our opinion of Luthansa. Maybe next time we'll take BA."

On board announcements said Lufthansa would rebook passengers with connecting flights and tell us arrangements as soon as we landed. No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency."

Prós: "Good crew, very polite. Good ambient temperature on the plane. Food was good."
Contras: "Paid WiFi didn’t work for half the flight. They should post a map with when it works (above which countries) as apparently it’s a licensing issue."

Me and the 2 other passengers had zero chance to arrive on time and were at a loss of breath. And i paid for my selected seats to which i am asking for a refund because what happened was unacceptable. When we addressed our concern, the lufthansa employee told us that u cannot have buses for all the passengers in a situation of a delay.... unacceptable.... how is this the client's fault to miss a flight due to a delay?"

Contras: "Did not get the food of my choice. The system was blocked for early check in."

Prós: "The seating went very efficiently and fast. All the flight attendants were extremely friendly. Food was great and there were plenty of movies for adults and kids. Would chose Lufthansa again"
Contras: "I was in economy class and the lady in front of me put the seat back. My knees hit the seat the whole flight and I am not that tall 5.6."

Prós: "I was rebooked on another flight earlier."
Contras: "Nobody bother to call me or email me. No Lufthansa or kayak . I called Lufthansa and have them rebooked my flight. And they were wonderful."

Prós: "The aircraft was clean. The service was great. Food was OK. I enjoyed the wine service. Lots of movie choices. HOW does one get "bumped up" to Premium Economy?"
Contras: "The seats in Economy were the most uncomfortable I have ever sat in for such a long time nine and a half hours. All six of us found them to be uncomfortable. No seat bottom cushioning. I had a back pain. Boarding started with the First Class and Business Class first. It took an additional 20 minutes for Economy class to start boarding. The line was very, very long and interfered with other travelers in the airport terminal. "boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped" When we arrived in Denver, only five Custom Agents were on duty to process our arrival passports, although there are 14 control stations at Denver. It appeared as though the Custom Agents were not aware of the arrival of the Lufthansa 747 nor the one that followed. All other Custom in Europe were much more efficient and move people through quickly. What a bad first impress made by the USA Customs people."

Contras: "Lufthansa sharing code with United wasn't pleasant at all."

Prós: "A380 flies smoothie."
Contras: "Drop Off bagage at MIA airport. I did online check-in..but, the line for DropOFF so long and only ONE person attending..i suggest improve desk services..."

Prós: "Super staff!"

Prós: "more than 2 hours spent in the plane which was the reason for waiting at the airport taxi and extra pay."

Contras: "We had one hour delay, on a 1:30h flight, totally unacceptable"

Prós: "Had individual screens for each passenger. Most seats seemed to have a good movie selection."
Contras: "Chaotic doesn't even begin to describe boarding. We had to be bussed to the jet for some reason, then there were two doors to board through that people would just pick at random."

Contras: "The flight was a replacement for a cancelled flight. In addition to this, it was delayed. The flight attendants did not compensate for our inconvenience and were not very friendly or available in general. The incoming flight had been delayed by hours, with boarding and deplaning and a very bad attitude."

Contras: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Prós: "Perfectly on time, no hassle, seat OK. This is the way I appreciate a flight."
Contras: "Food. No choice, three "madeleine" (sweet) cookies for all, no sugar-free (salty) alternative..."

Contras: "The interface of the screens seemed old Need to anticipate the needs of the customer better For example, they brought me my special meal first, but I had to wait 30 minutes later to get a drink to accompany it. The food was getting old. Did not see any newspaper/periodical selection. That would have been nice."

Contras: "Security services at Manchester airport...too long and not friendly at all"

Prós: "I like the service. They caring and give snacks, comfort and overall"

Prós: "Yelling, cheering and literally rolling in the aisle made for a really annoying flight"
Contras: "Infusions bad behavior. Also, flight number was changed and AF. Was understaffed to handle questions on squirrelly luggage check."

Contras: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."

Prós: "Crew was professional and friendly. Plane was clean. And food was served quickly without the hassle of ordering from a menu and paying. And it was delicious. Best airline food I’ve had in a long time. The chocolate dessert was incredible. And a coffee to go with it. Made a three hour flight very pleasant."
Contras: "All airlines need to remove a row of seats and give everyone just a bit more legroom."

Prós: "We were on a 9 hour flight which is pretty exhausting on its own. However, Air France provided you with a pillow and blanket, as well as headphones, so that you can make the best of the long trip."
Contras: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."

Prós: "Flight went smoothly"
Contras: "Flight left late The seats are small and crowded There are no entertainment options"

Prós: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Contras: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Contras: "Freezing"

Prós: "movies were great, watched a lot of them food, while nothing to write home about, was at least tasty and not inedible the staff was great, friendly, welcoming, hard working loved that we could have wine and snacks"
Contras: "we had paid for the exit row and had a luxurious amount of room. But when we tried to sleep, our fellow passengers came and stood at our feet and talked so loudly that we could not possibly sleep. They stayed there for more than an hour. Would have loved for the staff to maybe ask them to tone it down, if not move."

Prós: "Friendly crew; comfort; punctuation. Fast boarding"
Contras: "Simple food - very small amounts. No entertainment."

Prós: "Efficient boarding. Interesting hot food. Entertainment variety very good."
Contras: "Business class seats hard. Did not flatten out for sleep."

Prós: "The flight went smoothly from boarding to landing. The crew was helpful, kind, & courteous. I would definitely fly Air France again. Online check-in was also easy to follow and complete."

Contras: "My entertainment system did not work for the whole 8 hours. Seats were uncomfortable. The lights above the seats broken."

Prós: "Air France is the worst company I have ever flown with. They changed our seats last minute. They where late both flights. Not worth the stress if your layovers are short. Also they took my passport with no explanation of why into another room with out my permission."
