Said that they couldnt be responsible if you lost your connection because My connection flight wasnt with them! I had the worse6h of waiting and trying to have someone helping me. All of Azul’s staff are incompetent laZy workers!"

Contras: "Without knowing it when I booked the flight, I purchased "economy light" fare. In this class checked luggage costs extra; $60.00 a piece. Star Alliance Gold status doesn't help here."

Contras: "Worst travel experience ever and I’ve traveled the world. Red eye flight delayed for 3 hours. Missed connection flight with not a lot of options. Waited for another 3 hours to get rebooked and have to stay at Zurich overnight and only to find our checked luggage is no where to be seen. First and LAST time we fly Swiss Air!!!"

And on my second part of the trip Zurich/Nice they refused to sell me to me from the Duty Free because they didn't have time..... :( The dark hair flight attendant in the back of that plane was not informative or nice....I had to talk to the head flight attendant in the front of the plane, she was more professional! Other than that everything was good!"

I’m thinking to get back on Turkish Airlines although the trip is much longer, they are much better in both above mentioned segments."

Contras: "I bought economy class ticket! (I have a printout ticket as proof!) When I went to the airport i had a VERY UNPLEASANT surprise. I had a 23kg bag. Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

Prós: "The crew was both fun and efficient. The food was definitely a step ahead of American owned airline companies. Very good choices of movies and entertainment."

Contras: "No wifi. Entertainment screen, etc was ancient by competitors' standards. Very difficult to operate, and I could not get it switched off once on. The screen light was in my face all night! I noticed another passenger with the same problem. Screen kept going blurry too. I booked Swissair because the price was good, now I regret that."

Contras: "Engine shut down juast as the safety briefing started but all was good when it started again. A light meal would have been better than yoghurt & biscuits. Staff were very helpful."

Contras: "We had a family of four sitting behind us. The father yelled all the time. They took up four overhead bins and he was frequently up and down getting things out of the bins. His very hairy large belly was touching my daughters head every time. He and his children punched the backs of our seats on a regular basis. My back was in constant pain and I was unable to do very many things due to the back pain during my "vacation", The flight attendants had to remind the parents that their children could not stand on the seats during takeoff or crawl around under the seats. No ability to change seats or I would have. I didn't have a problem with the other children on the flight, when they were crying their parents tried to do something. However these people brought playdough for their child to roll out or punch on the seat tray and all they did was constantly yell loudly at their children, Well not about the kicking, punching, or crawling around. Just yell in general at them."

Prós: "BEST FLIGHT OF MY LIFE"

Prós: "My experience on Turkish Airlines exceeded expectations. Boarding was smooth and the flight was on time. Service was excellent and staff professional. The crew was courteous but the hostesses could try smiling a bit more. Their courtesy was appreciated but it felt very methodical, more of an obligation and not spontaneous. The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. I expected to see a wider selection of more recent and award winning movies. Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."

Contras: "Transfer security station had 300 people waiting. Very bad. One lane open. Has to run through airport to get to flight to Miami from the flight from tel aviv. Will not fly Turkish air until the security transfer line is fixed."

Prós: "2 & 1 carry On Luggages, NO PROBLEM even though my Luggage s were 2 + lbs extra Heavy. I like the Smiling Crew, food, comfort when taking off and especially Landing in Istanbul. I did NOT feel anything at ALL. The Crew excepted and kept my suit in a safe place, hanged till I reached Istanbul Airport."
Contras: "Close to an hour delay in Los Angeles."

Contras: "The whole operation was shabbily done. Because of a Turkish airlines' flight delay, we wouldn't be able to make our connecting flight to Venice from Istanbul. So the agents booked me and my traveling companions on DIFFERENT flights the next day, long after we had paid to be getting to Venice. It took a long time and a lot of work on my part to get our tickets corrected to all be on the same flight, and the whole thing was very unprofessional. The lower price for Turkish airlines is not worth it when you have to spend an entire day of your vacation sitting in the Turkish Airlines airport hotel because Turkish Airlines can't properly get you to your destination on time."

Contras: "When I arrived in Lagos my luggage did not show up and I had to arrange everything including a private pick up and courier service and I had to pay for it all and got it 6 days later and the 180.00 naira which was in the luggage was stolen."

Prós: "The plane has a lot of restrooms"

Prós: "The food was delicious."
Contras: "The wait times were ridiculous and always off schedule. From the beginning of the trio to the end of the trio there was consitency in going off schedule and being forced to stand in lines for hours. I would not fly Turkish again."

Contras: "Flight was delayed but that wasn't the main problem. Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as, if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

Contras: "We ran to the gate but we're turned away and spent 3 hours getting rebooked and to a hotel for the night."

Prós: "food was great, service-excellent, friendly staff"

Contras: "we had to stop in berlin. we were not informed about the length of the stop. food service stopped in the middle and then resumed 4 hrs later. the crew did not offer snacks instead. wifi did not work on the plane so we could not inform our families of the delay. headset was not working on both ears. boarding was very long due to extra security checks. not sure why u need to go through this twice..."

Contras: "the employees at the check in booth were so rude and unhelpful. I needed a wheelchair because I had a very bad backache, but they refused to help me and they made me wait standing up in line for over 2 hours. It was a very painful experience."

Prós: "The staff deserves one star"

Prós: "When I find the restroom facility with water all over the floor and walls apparently used by a passenger to do a sponge bath. I notified the flight attendants and they immediately clean up the mess and restore the restroom to usable condition. I was very impressed with their attitude in a trying situation. Very cordial flight crew. The little travel kits were an added bonus. Having sandals on a 13 hour flight was a blessing instead of putting on shoes every time you have to to to the WC."
Contras: "The 45 minute wait on the tarmac before take off. It was quite hot in the cabin with no air circulation. And no information from the cockpit as to when takeoff will be."

Prós: "Flight attendant cared a lot about the older lady sitting next to me, was grateful when I helped her. Food was excellent, screen size and selection of viewing material was very good. We were on time and the little comfort bag was very good, lip balm!"

Contras: "This was one of the worst days of my life, health-wise, so it could be that my observation of the passage of time was somewhat distorted, but Turkish did everything either slowly, or more slowly on this day. First, name two things on a flight line that are wheeled, movable objects. Did you answer bus and plane? Well done. So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I fell asleep and woke up twice before it was over."

Prós: "The seats were a normal size for an international flight. Everyone got a blanket, pillow, earphones and eye mask in their seat, all of which were necessary for the 11-hour flight. There were a lot of great movies to choose from, as well!"
Contras: "The bathroom garbage cans got full very early on in the flight, making it uncomfortable to use them. The stewardesses were friendly, but it was difficult to understand their English and the pilot's English (and I teach ESL). They, in turn, had a difficult time understanding me when I spoke to them in very slow, clear English."

Prós: "Great value for the money. Excellent customer service."

Best of all, I like the fact that the airlines offers a guided tour of Istanbul in English during a layover there; I only wish I'd read that in the in-flight magazine before going off on my own to sightsee."
Contras: "I didn't like the multiple screenings to get on the plane, but suspect that was more a decision of the airport than the airlines. Being singled out for extra screening wasn't my favorite either!"

Prós: "Loved the retrofitting work done on the 777-200 for atmosphere and head room. The flight crew were among the most accommodating I’ve experienced."
Contras: "Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom. Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

Prós: "First time flying El Al. Hopefully my last. They delayed the flight to give three people - two of whom were ladies iver the age of fifty - intensive security screens. I was given one as well. They took my laptop, one of my pbones, my tanlet, and my headphones. This would havr neen bearable if El Al invested in its cabins, but that doesnt seem the case. The headphones provided were similar to models from the 90s (and worked just as well), there was no individual screen for entertainment, and the seats were exceedingly cramped. At least the Wi-Fi was free."

Contras: "Boarding was horrendous: they have the whole flight stand and wait to board! In Madrid, they called to initiate boarding and we stood for 15-20 min before anyone moved at all; business class was then called, and we ended up standing another 15-20 min in the jetway before being ushered into the plane! Even in business class, the entertainment system was poor it's difficult to use and my system froze entirely on the way to Madrid. It worked on the way back, but the selection was relatively limited and poor."

Prós: "Entertainment was excellent. I appreciated the blanket, headphones, and pillow. One of the staff was very rude to the gentleman next to me because he asked for tea after she passed by with it the first time."

Prós: "The codeshare system with American is so far from seamless! The messed up the seat assignment that I paid for and tried to make me feel like it was my fault! It was a huge hassle to change."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Prós: "The seat was comfortable."
Contras: "All snacks and beverages appeared to be at cost. No in-flight entertainment. My traveling companion's luggage was never delivered to our destination and really made for a less enjoyable trip (since she had to purchase everything anew, as well as having to repeatedly contact the airline to check on the bag - receiving multiple inaccurate stories as to what happened). It makes me far less likely to fly or recommend this airline again. Luggage tracking should be a very simple process."

Contras: "I arrived 13 hours late, had two extra flights. I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."
