Contras: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Contras: "12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet"

The seats were smaller and there was only the drop down screens for every 2-3 rows, but otherwise, for a less than 2 hr flight, it was fine."

Contras: "The agent at the check-in had no clue what he was doing. He had to ask his neighboring agents a dozen questions to check us in (4 passengers, 3 bags and 2 car seats). On top of that, his whole demeanor was condescending, treating us as if we had never flown an airplane before. We are big are traveling light, so we had 2 small suitcases, small enough that we never have to check them in for the US domestic flights. I asked the check-in agent if the small ones were needed to be checked in or if they could be taken as carry-ons. He made a big deal that they were too big and had to be checked in. But when we boarded the plane, we saw that about a quarter of the carry-on bags in the plane were as big as our small suitcases! We were in row 30+. The leg room was the narrowest I have had in all international flights I flew in. Having longer than average legs, it was pure torture for the duration of the overnight flight. The best part of the dinner they served was the croissant - that should give you an idea. I don't think I would voluntarily choose Swiss Air again."

The crew at the gate was unhelpful making entire experience more streafull than necessary without clear rules how the seats will be assigned (whether we should wait in line or they will call us by names). The flight was 2h delayed in NYC because of the mess at the gate coating me a missed connection to Denmark (not that it was necessary have Lufthansa put any effort in speeding up.my transfer like pick up at the gate, gate information before I left aircraft or even as I approached a desk I. Frankfurt as the conneecting flight was late too). On top of that mess I have not gotten my speciality meal and eintertaiment system was malfunctioning the entire flight. Crew could not be bothered with bringing over water and didn't exactly respond to call button."

Contras: "Why I had to fly from Naples to Munich and then down to Zurich to take an Edelweiss flight (Swiss Air, horrible), is beyond me. Poor routing, plus, the Edelweiss flight took 10 hours to Tampa. My family flew from Naples to Paris and from Paris to St. Louis, Mo. in SIX hours. The four extra hours were excruciatingly long in cramped seats."

We waited 5 hours to rebook a destination back to the USA and traveling lasted 24hours. Right now I'm not sure if I'll be refunded my tickets for thedomestic airline flight. WE will NEVER want to fly out of Frankfurt and especially with Lufthansa. I have to say the people at the service counters were very nice and helpful but it took 5 hours to get serviced and were missed 2 possible connecting flights. Lufthansa was a good airline but that was 20 years ago. The airport is too big now has too many delays so I'll avoid it at all cost."
Prós: "I always praised Lufthansa food, but this time we got chicken pasta, which was weird. Please bring back your normal option: chicken + puree."

Contras: "Nothing good to say about this flight. The plane was old with no entertainment. The sits where very compact and not comfortable at all. The food was a sweet bread and water. The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."

Contras: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."
Contras: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."
Contras: "We did not get two of baggage at the destination."
Contras: "The cabin crew was racist. She told me to move back from an empty seat just because she wanted one of the guys ( from her country ) to set on it! Very rude and racist."
Contras: "Delay can occur sometimes but it wiuld be better to be explained its reason and the estimated time for boarding. The customer service at CDG airport was the worst ever and all people standing boarding desk were useless without any mind what they are doing."
Prós: "crew were absolutely delightful, full of smiles and doing everything to make you comfortable. seats were fine enough and got some work done and a bit of sleep. first lunch was fresh and tasty, but the second, a burger, was edible, but not much more."
Contras: "tv screens are dated so movies are not as crisp as you find in newer planes. you need a 2 prong audio adapter to use your own headphones."

Prós: "Not much of anything. No complimentary food or drink for a nearly five hour flight, and sub- par customer service."
Contras: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Contras: "There was a broken restroom on the plane in the main section, so then, they should keep an eye on the remaining restrooms as they get dirtier sooner. Madrid barajas airport is an ordeal, Iberia needs to explain better that passport control happens when you get to terminal 4S on the tram AND then there are TWO more passport controls. then there isn't enough space for people to line up for the various groups, creating friction. Iberia just needs to be more organized."
Prós: "Crew was good from Rime to Madrid, however my connection from Madrid to JFK, service was not good, i felt ignore when asking for water"

Eventually I found a desk at a different location that would take my bag. Boarding was chaotic, no lines, just a crowd blocking access. Even passengers with small children couldn't get through. Space between seats was minimal. Crew was ordering passengers to take headphones off during security demo. I understand it is important to be attentive, but ultimately you shouldn't be forced to."

Contras: "They were late with boarding to begin with and the process was extremely unorganized and slow. The Air France flight that was boarding next to ours at gate 9 got everybody onto the plane before our flight did and their plane was scheduled to take off 10 minutes AFTER us. The boarding attendant didn’t do a good job of announcing the group number for boarding. After priority and no baggage passengers, it was just one big mob. Our boarding passes were in group 1 but my mom ended up being one of the last people let through. The 2 attendants made her wait because they needed to tag her luggage. I guess they felt it was too big for carrying on. Which is fine. But they literally made her stand there while they let almost everyone else in line through. They even tagged other luggages and she was still waiting. And when she asked them about it, they told her to wait and they have to assist other people. What’s the point of being group 1 for boarding then? We still had to wait til pretty much everyone else went in. And the fact that our seats were in row 29 which is at the tail end of the plane made it even worse. Now we need to squeeze by 28 rows of people when we could’ve been in our seats and out of the way a long time ago. Terrible service!"

Prós: "Iberia offered the worst ever flight of my life"
Contras: "I was charged $55.00 to book early and choose seats. I agreed because I wanted to be sure to sit with my husband and have a view. Iberia changed my seats without my knowledge, and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Directions to our connecting flight in the airport by Iberia staff was confusing and they were extremely rude. We asked 3 different times! We were in danger of missing our connecting flight. Iberia is the worst airlines I have ever experienced, and I will never purchase a flight on Iberia again! Lesson learned!"
Prós: "Crew arranged to change seats so my left leg had an aisle."
Contras: "Boarding by groups was not followed, no one to control them, just a rush to gate. No discipline by Iberia. Reserved a seat on aisle of 3 seats side section so my left leg could stretch out after surgery but they changed aircraft type w/ only 2 seats on side without notification, so my right leg had the aisle."
Contras: "Lost bags, dirty plane, seats switched from together with my wife on our honeymoon to seperate."
Contras: "We had a terrible experience with iberia airlines,working with british airways.We almost missed our fl8ght as they cannot find info about e tickets in the computer(otherwise i had tge print out of our tickets). Contras: "As great as it was that they booked my connecting flight, I wish I could have my luggage. It has been over a week and I believe that it is because I had such a short layover from my first flight to this one."

Finally, the temperature was freezing & the bathrooms were disgusting."

Contras: "We had paid for reserved seats. When we got to the gate they were not there. Got bad seats to fly six hours. Left an item on the plane. No help tracking it down. No one would give us a phone number or how to go about locating it."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"
