Prós: "Boarding was automated gates was easy."
Prós: "I flew premium economy from Hong Kong to Frankfurt on the A340-600. The crew was excellent, attentive and friendly. They always have a great attitude and this has been consistent with my previous experiences with Lufthansa. The seat and meal were average for premium economy, but the crew more than made up for it."
Contras: "The seats were quite hard and lacking in padding in premium economy. The meal was average and nothing to bring home to."
Prós: "The staff and food were exceptional!"
Contras: "We paid extra to have a bassinet as we were traveling with a baby. The entire row (a family) behind us was very sick, coughing, sneezing, and blowing their noses the whole flight. As we were concerned for our daughters health, we asked the flight attendants if we could lmove to the bulkhead that was open at the front of the plane. They wanted to charge us $500 EACH to move, even though the seats were open. One of the flight attendants even commented how terrible it was for our baby to have a row of sick people behind us, yet they refused to move us. Fast forward, our daughter ended up getting sick during our trip to Florence, and now my husband is sick. As such, we’ve had to miss out on things during our vacation. It would not have been difficult to move us to empty seats in the front of the plane, so we could use the bassinet we paid for. This small gesture would have made our flight and our trip much better."

Contras: "Staff didn't ask a lady next to me to sit properly whilst she was almost laying with her shoes very near to my seat. I had to be careful not to clean her shoe soles with my clothes. Also, after arrival to Birmingham there was an unnecessary crowd created by releasing people from busses from 2 different flights simultanously."
Prós: "On time, punctual and efficient. Just what I would expect from Lufthansa."
Contras: "This was a 747, but in economy they've configured it with newer 10 across rows like they do on the new Dreamliner, which I hate. These new seats are much narrower in width (not ideal, but fair enough, the airline wants to maximise capacity) and much harder to sit on for a long haul flight (much less ideal, after a couple hours, the seats were just plain uncomfortable, by the end of the flight really unbearable). The food (pasta) was not particularly good and not to the usual standard I expected for Lufthansa. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. To be honest, I've had better flights in terms of comfort on the likes of Ryanair and Thomas Cook."
Prós: "Keeping in mind it was an economy class, I thought the flight was fine. Decent food. I would have preferred some with a heavy cheese sauce. I had gotten sick in Egypt and I felt lousy (dizziness and headache). Despite my physical condition I thought the flight was okay. Crew were professional and airplane was clean. Beer to drink. Other than the fact I was sick, I enjoyed the flight."
Contras: "The dinner option was okay. I felt the heavy cheese sauce pasta was a bit too rich. Other components to the dinner was fine."

Prós: "The crew was extremely responsive, inviting, and constantly walking about the cabin to see if passengers needed juice or water. The boarding, for such a large flight, was pretty smooth."
Contras: "The small screens for entertainment need to be updated. It took mine a few minutes into the flight before I could access all of the entertainment options. Additionally, the touchscreen was very difficult to navigate, as it jumped between non-responsive and too sensitive throughout the flight. Furthermore, the headphone jack should be updated, so that passengers can use their own headphones without an adapter. The headphone audio setup at my seat did not work very well."
Contras: "I guess I can’t properly rate the flight because it was canceled and I ended up flying United. I will say that that flight was fine. I was disappointed that there were zero notifications telling me that my initial flight with Lufthansa was canceled. When I finally got through over the phone, I was booked for a flight that I couldn’t make and had to wait until the next day to start my trip."

It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Contras: "It was the worst flight that I ever had, the seats are extremely uncomfortable, no TV, the food was terrible."

Contras: "The premium economy seat is not reclined at all. The neighbor's seat is too much flexible. This is a maintenance problem. We report these problems to the crew, though there ignored... I should have chosen an economy class seat."

Contras: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Contras: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."
