Prós: "Good AC - very important, calm and nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff."

Prós: "The crew was very professional and helpful. If you travel Business Class it is very pleasant. But if you are traveling Economy the boarding management and economy seats suck! Many people were complaining about how narrow the economy seats are on the A320/330 aircraft."
Contras: "Swiss has finally done it! If you are a person who is large framed, around 225 lbs or higher you will not fit into their economy seats. I'm quite athletic and not obese but large framed (ex- football player), I could not sit squarely in the seat as my hips were severely pinched. Misery :("

Prós: "We have been flying Swiss for years and they are the most reliable and best organized airline, we have ever experienced."
Contras: "I didn't notice that I had booked some sort of new economy light category where checked baggage is no longer included and to check baggage when booked into this class cost $60 per bag per flight. So overall on the trip I paid $240 extra for luggage alone."

Prós: "The business class ground crew proposed to check in our hand baggage and were very helpful. (We were in economy class) It was my birthday and i was very touched to receive a spontaneously made card and some chocolate truffles and a smile from the flight crew."

Contras: "3 4 3 seating results in very narrow isles ... during the longer flights on the 777 the isle seated passengers lean into the isles making going to and from the restrooms in ( coach) a bit of an obstacle course"

I missed my flight from Vienna to Yerevan and the portion of my trip was detoured to Moscow and from there to Yerevan instead of 3 hours took me 8 hours. The crew had to spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to return from a flat bed to the upright position. Entertainment was re-booted 3-4 times during the flight to get it to work consistently."

Prós: "Best food and attention that I've had on an airline in 20 years. Really. I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

I am flying with swiss every month between Zürich and New York but a lot of Ines I get a shitty seat even if I am silver status As a frequent flyer I expect a priority handling which is not the case . No upgrade poaaibility due to wrong booking class (even if flights are very expensive) if this continues to go that way I will change airline alliance This is more a miles and more issue but it is really annoying me in a way that I really consider changin"

Contras: "The crew didn't have their masks on sometimes when coming back into the cabin as they simply forgot (the new norm is hard to get used to) so maybe the airline can stress the mandatory use of face masks at ALL times. Furthermore, for my comfort of the flight (with COVID) the FA's should use gloves"

It is an unnecessary requirement that causes some passengers to miss their connecting flight. I will give them a pass on clearing immigration But going thru security....no."

The crew themselves remarked that the type of plane used for this flight was inappropriate."

No acommodation from flight attendants. They did offer empty "upgraded" premium economy seats for extra $300 on top of what I already paid. seats so narrow & thin (to squeeze more seats In), my hips hurt for final 3 hours. Miserable experience. Lufthansa fails in customer service."

Contras: "We booked these flights expecting Lufthansa. Little disappointed to learn they were Brussels airlines. Inflight entertainment options and meal options don't seem to be as good. Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Prós: "Ease of making connecting flight to Budapest"

Contras: "On May 16, 2017, there was a group of Albanian and American passengers rushing through Frankfurt Airport to catch the connecting flight to New York. Their first flight (LH#1425) from Tirana to Frankfurt was 45 minutes late causing them to eventually miss their connecting flight. At this point, the passengers were asked to show their passports, separating the US citizens from the rest. All the US citizens were loaded on a bus and provided hotel, dinner and breakfast. The Albanian citizens were moved to the lower level of the airport where they were left to freeze all night. Some of the passengers were elderly and had their heart or high blood pressure medications in their luggage that they didn’t have access to. One US-Albanian citizen was asked to separate from his Green-Card holder wife in order to receive the US citizen treatment…"

Contras: "We had one hour delay, on a 1:30h flight, totally unacceptable"

Although comfortable for the ones reclining they are uncomfortable and at times painful ( taller people) and makes watching the screen impossible when fully reclined."

Anyway I love those 777-300ER’s, they are huge with great up to date ambient lighting, excellent, outstanding entertainment , and I had the whole row to myself. I often take this flight when flying home from LHR to JFK. 5 stars!"

Contras: "Paying $275 to upgrade and experiencing one of worst flights and service I’ve travelled. No water supply for hot beverages, wash hands or brush teeth during eight hour international flight, not given special diet meal requested as crew unable to locate it, Entertainment monitor not working or housed in seat back correctly to adjust angle, remote handset buttons barely working to watch or make selections, unable to call cabin crew who did not visit through cabin for approximately two and half hours as ‘assumed most passengers were sleeping’, no wine choice only Sauvignon blanc and I wanted Chardonnay so had nothing. Breakfast ‘special diet request’ meal was cold hard bagel with colourful lump of cream cheese, which seemed to be what everyone else had. No orange juice, grapefruit that can’t take medication with, so had nothing to drink except allotted splash of water into small paper cup. Dreadful journey"

Upon arrival to the airport, the rather unambitious fellow at the check-in desk refused to look up my reservation and instead insisted that my flight was in fact through American Airlines. After waiting in yet another queue, I was sent back to British Airways, where it was confirmed that Iwas booked on the flight, but that it would be to late to check my suitcase. I am still at my city of origin in London as I write this review."

Contras: "Online check in was not available, despite 24 hour checkin being advertised. Expect your seat preferences to be limited unless you pay $35-$85 per flight to pick your seat in advance."

Contras: "The crew was very aggressive and impolite. As a matter of fact I have never been in a flight in my life with such sort of crew attitude - especially with my kids (ages 6 and 10) - real animals. I will make an effort to not to with IBERIA ever again. I’m concierge key with AA and only with with Iberia because of the One World partnership."

Contras: "Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom). Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

Our luggage missed the flight to MIA and we were told it would be delivered to our house the next day between 7pm and 8pm. it never showed. I called customer service and they could not tell me anything. Horrible experience"

Contras: "The seat pitch was so small my knees were hard against the seat in front of me for 1.5 hours and I was miserable the whole time. To put this in perspective this was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on an airplane. My legs hurt the whole flight. This was the first leg of an expensive international flight and given the price of the 2 legs I should have been upgraded to a more comfortable seat. My flight to Europe on Iberia was excellent. Contras: "Quando chegámos de Figari e fomos logo fazer o check in não quiseram aceitar-nos porque o avião estava overbooked e tivemos que esperar até todos os passageiros estarem sentados sempre com o risco de nao embarcarmos, o que acabou por não acontecer. A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "My ticket said operated by British Airways so after an hour of standing in line - why there were two agents baffles me-- I was told to go stand in the Iberia one. I went to a kiosk and it didn't recognize my flight, so I finally got ahold of someone. The night before I was unable to check in because their site had crashed, so there was no way for me to know where to go."

Contras: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."

Prós: "So refreshing an experience after AA: Iberia's Airbus was clean, their staff efficient, and professional, and electronic updates were provided at every connection! WOW!"

Contras: "According to my itinerary, we were scheduled to fly from Marrakech to Casablanca on Royal Moroccan Airlines flight 402. There was no flight. My itinerary also said we were to fly out of Casablanca on American Airlines. After sitting at the gate for over 2 hrs. in Marrakech,one of the ground crew members told us our flight had been canceled, but we were never notified. The supervisor refused to give us a letter stating that they screwed up by either sending us to the wrong gate, or that the flight had been canceled so I could get my money back thru my travel insurance. She said the flight was not cancelled so it wasn't her fault. No flight left from our gate. She refused to help us book another flight. I had no smart phone to book another flight and she told me, that was too bad. I asked what should I do, she said "that is your problem not mine, I cannot help you." There were 2 others they sent to the wrong gate and 6 others who had the same problem as us. Later 2 others, on a different flight with RAM, walked up to the ticketing section and said they were sent to the wrong gate and missed their flight too. I need a letter from someone so I can retrieve my $1800 back from my travel insurance because we had to book other flights and stay an extra day in a hotel in Casablanca. I don't feel that is asking too much. We were there early to fly out and did everything they told us to do. Luckily, someone cared enough to let me use their smart phone to book another flight and hotel or this could of been a real tragedy."

Contras: "Iberia Airlines The flight attendants on the Iberia section of the flight from Madrid to Chicago could have cared less. The plane was late and the crew could have cared less. They fasten seat belt sign was on way way too long with no turbulence so they did not have to open the bar. They would not serve vodka from the cart and you needed to go to the back of the aircraft for it. Will not fly Iberia again. ."

Prós: "airlines could have mentioned that the second leg would require going thru security again and would take a very long time and that I should do this immediately after disembarking even though a gate had not yet been assigned. As A consequence of an intensive interview process before boarding the international leg of the trip (initially only two reps processing everyone on the plane for a few minutes each) the plane left the gate late. It also lost another 15 -20 minutes in flight making it 30 minutes late and I missed my connection in Miami necessitating me to spend a night in a motel and finish my flight the next day."
Contras: "Had the crew enabled me to be first off the plane I would have made the connection but I lost an additional 20-25 minutes being seated in the rear of the plane"

Prós: "TAP serves edible cheese sandwiches. First time in years I eat plane food and don’t immediately regret it."
Contras: "I travel with an international carry-on designed to fit in comoartments above seats in any and all planes (Tumi alpha 2 International), and yet TAP would claim it was too large to fit and forced me to check it. My problem is not only the wait once we land, but most improtsntly that the bags are beat up in the journey. Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."
