Contras: "Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

Contras: "Waiting in line in NYC for take off was about 50 minutes. Small seat space with annoying passengers who watch movies all night with bright screens or push and press my seat all the time. Earplug is uncomfortable, breakfast is plain, hot chocolate is horrible. It was a full flight and we even lost my daughter's cardigan."

Prós: "Flight was on time. Food was good for airline food."
Contras: "Swiss air seems to have lost its service edge. The flight attendants just stood around and watched while I struggled with my cane and my bag. They only seemed to snap into action to tell people what to do or not do. I flew the same route two years ago and staff was really kind. Maybe the working conditions have changed; they seemed harried and annoyed (in coach, at least). And I don't think they had to stand in line for an _hour_ to check in (thanks, LAX)."

Contras: "1) my seat was broken (didn't recline) 2) my USB charger... Broken.. 3) my food was in a metal container that was stamped and the ink from the stamp leaked and was pressed across my food. I was literally not about to eat the alphabet... (luckily, a nice attendant came by and apologized, as I know it was not her fault the food came out like this. 4) Rude attendant came over 25 mins after I had turned on my attendant button to ask for a bottle of water. (I turned it on while they were still serving drinks) (also forgot I needed water to take some medicine that required to drink a full glass) She came up to me and my fellow passenger, yelled at BOTH us while she was waving her hands our face. I mentioned to her "it's not polite to treat people this way" she moved her hands closer to my face thrusting her whole body over my fellow passengers face, and continued yelling at me about turbulence (while she's completely avoiding the rule herself.) He and I were both seated and buckled and not bothering anyone. She could've just taken her own lecture and kept ignoring the signal. I wrote about this in customer support letter that the 'NICE' and 'Helpful' attendant Gave to me that sincerely apologized for the previous attendants behavior."

Prós: "Has been 6 days and my luggage is still lost. Doubt I will see it again. It did have a nice luggage tag on it with all the info needed to track me down."

Contras: "Was asked to give up my aisle seat (D 40) seat om a 13 hour flight for a less comfortable one (F). Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. Neither the parent or myself felt very good about my displacement."

Prós: "The courteous and helpful crew. The food and snacks."
Contras: "The cramped seats and the poor leg room."

Prós: "The crew did a great job of handling our 2-hour delay in starting from Zurich - we were kept updated on what was happening, the aircraft was at a comfortable temperature (not too hot, not too cold), and we were given water during the wait. Also, during the flight, the crew kept coming through with more water, which was VERY NICE! Plus, the moist towels prior to landing. It makes a big difference in comfort levels for such a long flight."
Contras: "The on-board entertainment system was old and very clumsy to handle (with the embedded control in the arm rest). Also, it crashed on me two times and had to be re-booted, which was frustrating and took a long time every time it happened."

Prós: "The food,crew and flight were flawless. Our flight scheduling had us connecting within a thirty minute period in zurich and we had to run to catch the flight. Probably would have missed the connection if our 26 year old son didn't run ahead. Too much drama and no one from swiss air to help. Suggest more time for transfer in the future or someone to guide passengers. We were nit the only ones. However, we did make it as did the others ( luggage too!)so kudos to swiss for waiting"

Prós: "Once boarded we took off pretty quickly, crew were extremely nice, food was great"
Contras: "The boarding process was messy, couldn't tell economy from business lines, no entertainment at all."

Prós: "The crew on Swiss Air is very welcoming. The food was pretty good and there was frequent beverage service, so you don't get dehydrated like on other airlines."
Contras: "The seats decline fairly far back into the next seat. As a result, some of the passengers got agitated if they do not go with the flow and decline like dominoes. Both legs of the flight we had the people seated behind us kicking and shoving our seats. One gentleman was kicking my seat for a couple hours and made a scene on the outgoing flight. The stewardess addressed the gentleman and explained that I had to decline my seat because the seat in front of me was declined. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me, so every time the gentleman kicked me, it not only hurt my back, but my knees. The couple behind us on the return flight jumped the line to get onto the flight, kept kicking our seats and then pretended they did not understand when we asked that they stop. I think the pilot should address the issue upfront so this toddler like behavior does not go on. I am not sure if it is common behavior, but not something I have experienced on an American carrier."

Prós: "I appreciated the big meal, dinner, about 2 hours into the flight. Nice to have real metal utensils, not plasticware, to eat with. The 'breakfast' for the overnight flight was more of a throwaway: muffin, granola bar, fresh fruit cup. Nice to get wine, or maybe beer(?), with dinner at no extra charge, served from regular wine bottles, not individual-serving containers."
Contras: "$35 per flight leg (Lufthansa policy) to choose seats was distinctly annoying. I didn't know when I booked the flights, so the surprise $70 add-in (for round trip definitely would have figured into the price/schedule choice in the first place."

Contras: "Flight from Delhi to Zurich was on time but from Zurich to Miami it was delayed by 4 hours. We sat in a hot plan for almost an hour 30 minutes and then decided to let us off the plan. I would like to ask for some compensation for this delay. Please have someone from Swiss international reach out to me. Thanks"

Prós: "Good service, efficient, professional"

Prós: "On every flight I have ever been on, if I request it I can get a whole water bottle vs. the small cups offered...however on this flight they refused saying 'it is against the rules"?? As a result I had to bother the flight crew over 10 times to refill my small glass...a huge inconvenience for both of us. The other inconvenience (one I have not experienced in over 5-6 years) was the the headphone jacks were the old fashioned kind...meaning you could not use your own, and the buds given by the airline were very uncomfortable."

Contras: "I found it uncomfortable to watch TV/movies when the seat in front of me was pushed back - the screen was too close."

Prós: "At Montreal I was made to go through the customs, exit the airport, get the boarding pass, go through security check again. I was subjected to unnecessary hassle as Air Canada did not issue me boarding pass for the section of Motreal to Zurich at Los Angeles airport. Had I known that I have to come out of the airport, I would not have bought this ticket. Hopefully same ordeal is not repeated while returning from Zurich to Los Angeles via Montreal on June 30, 2016. There was a long queque at Montreal to board the place as it was not organized in zone wise."

Contras: "My flight has been cancelled with no ecplonation. They reissue e ticket for me under different name. The crew were very rude . My suitcase was lost and still I have not received it . They promised to deliver ."

Contras: "I tried to get on an earlier flight to travel with my husband and every person claimed they couldn't help me. I called the airline who said there were plenty of seats on the flight, but they told me I needed someone onsite to help me make the change. Not great customer service."

The entertainment was awesome - made 8 hours quickly disappear! Will definitely fly with Lufthansa again when I go overseas!"

Prós: "I think this airline is a very good airline, but this flight was shorter so it didn't have all of the perks of the longer ones that it usually has."
Contras: "In Lisbon we had to be bused out to the airplane to board, so it was a long process."

Contras: "Our flight was scheduled to leave at 7:00 a.m. We arrived at the airport at 4:00 a.m. to check in. When we tried to check in the lady told us our reservation was canceled. Luckily an airport employee worked his magic and had us added back onto that flight."

Contras: "for 3 years, 90% of my flights from Beijing were delayed or cancelled. Beijing International Airport is the worst airport ever. About my flight from Beijing to Munich this time, we were stranded on the runway INSIDE the plane for 5 hours w/o food and water for the first 4 hours!"

Prós: "I am a little bit disappointed with Entertainment for this flight. No update movies, more of them classic or old. Boarding are was not clean and crowded"

Prós: "This was my first international flight, and also first on Lufthansa, and I was thoroughly impressed. We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

Contras: "I booked through Kiwi.com and they couldn't handle my special food request (kosher meal). Somehow it didn't reach Lufthanza at all. As a result I had nothing to eat during the entire transatlantic flight."

Prós: "Check-in was quick, only 4 parties ahead of me even though I arrived at the airport only 60 minutes prior to departure. Cleared security quickly too. Aircraft new and clean. Breakfast, excellent omelet, and crew extremely attentive to our needs- offering 2 drinks instead of other airlines which just give one and makes you feel that is all you deserve."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Contras: "The boarding process was pointless While this is a quirk of the airport, the airline should change their procedure for this scenario. LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

Contras: "Entertainment — too limited, not enough choices, interface/system is outdated. Terrible service — no food service for entire first part of flight. Cancelled meal because of turbulence."

Contras: "When I arrived, my luggage did not make the connecting flight. It was tracked down and hopefully will make it to me soon but you can see how it’s inconvenient. The first leg of my flight was operated by Wamos, though it was a LATAM flight. I know that this is something that happens often for all sorts of reasons, however I can’t help but think it had something to do with the transition of my luggage from one flight to the next. My flights home are similar ( One leg of it being operated by another airline) and needless to say I’m a bit nervous about that."

Prós: "the entertainment console's on the seat backs are modern and have a lot of content."
Contras: "LATAM made me pour out all the water at the gate that I purchased on the concourse after security. they also made me throw away my food. I am very displeased that I had to throw out $15+ dollars of food and drink and that I had zero water when getting on an 11 hour flight. that's outrageous."

Contras: "We had 4 hours of delay, 3 of them waiting on the plane"

Contras: "Unless you have a super category in this airline, don’t even try to apply to an upgrade. Employees have more preference than you"

Contras: "Long boarding time...however I realize this was a very large and full flight."

Prós: "Absolutely no customer service. Lost my full payment because Latam has no flexibility. They don't need to employ people in a "custom service department " because they don't offer any. Their options for rescheduling is zero. Their reply to all modifications is "no". Not even if you're standing at the boarding gate and they have empty seats. Use any other options for flight. Try Sky Airlines instead."

Contras: "Both flights were delayed and there were no meteorological problems, I finally arrived in LAX more than 2.5 hours late"

Prós: "Dreamliner was great for our 11 hour flight to santiago"

Contras: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."

Prós: "Staff was nice despite the situation."
Contras: "The flight was cancelled, we were reassigned to a Turkish Airlines flight that departed more than 6 hours later than our cancelled flight, we were given lunch but at a fast food restaurant even when we had to carry along all our luggage (super un-practical). And searching for info on twitter I found out this flight gets cancelled quite a lot."

Contras: "To short connection"

Contras: "We took off for Curitiba and found out when we got there that we couldn't land so we went back to Sao Paulo then had to sit on the plane for two and a half hours. The Curitiba airport had opened, but then we had to change staff and also the staff brought the wrong paperwork to the plane, so that caused further delays. Really frustrating."

Prós: "On board services were good as usual. Delayed was reported 1 day ahead. My 4 y/o son was invited to the pilot cabin."
Contras: "After being notified about the delay, airline website didn't work for schedule change, and had to spend 1 hour on the phone to make it. LAN makes great effort in promoting IFE app, but it seldom worked on board."

Contras: "It took forever to load the plane and they overbooked a few seats. The crew was clueless about how to handle seating a nice family whose seats were taken. 20 minutes later, the crew finally got it together. Also, the sandwich sucked. Some type of cream cheese on a lousy roll. Unbelievably bad and a calorie waste; tasted like wall paste."

Prós: "Boarding was handled very efficiently"
Contras: "The plane looked very dated. But otherwise it was a pleasant experience"

Contras: "The bad was that the jewelry was stolen from my bag (checked in). If you have valuables, even inexpensive jewelry, take it with you on board."

Prós: "I am deaf, almost 68y. Old. They insisted to escort me to the gate, I was very happy to be escorted by a beautiful young girl. I would have been a little lost had I gone through the screening by myself. The indicated gate number was changed as well."

Contras: "Because of the terminal staff, I did not make this connection and had to spend the night in Santiago, and then wait for a flight to Sao Paulo and then to JFK, which added another 18 hours to my trip. This caused much inconvenience for me as I could not get home when I was supposed to. At least some of the terminal staff should have a good command of English and supervisors should be more willing to step in and help. I will try very hard NOT to fly with LAN again."

Contras: "El trato de la tripulacion, la renovacion de los aviones"

Prós: "Not much of anything. No complimentary food or drink for a nearly five hour flight, and sub- par customer service."
Contras: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Unless I hear that this flight was unique I won’t ever fly level again no matter how discounted the airfare"

Contras: "Slow service by the flight attendants; poorly stocked food options. perhaps it’s a European thing with budget airlines but to pay for water is unacceptable."

Contras: "The flight was cancelled at the last minute due to a hurricane. Both British airlines and Iberian airlines posted conflicting information as to the flight cancellation, hence affecting hotel reservations and proceeding flights. The whole process has been a nightmare. I will have serious reservations booking future flights with either airline. Very disappointed !"

Prós: "Smooth, more food than I've had in the past on united, everyone was friendly, everything seemed clean, smooth take off and landing!"

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "airport in london - waited for hours to find which gate to used - sent us across to the wrong side and then only 40 minutest to board and we were running to take underground rail back to other side and find correct gate."

Contras: "Food was delicious compared to most American airlines. However, portions were smaller. Seating is more narrow compared to standard non low-cost laung-haul airlines. You will not have a pleasant flight if you're a tall and/or a big person."

Contras: "My flight itinerary was changed I received no notification of this change. Lost my flight. AA airport crew saved the day"

Contras: "Airline switched to smaller plane after check-in, we were bumped off. Instead of direct flight from Madrid to Tel Aviv, we were routed through Vienna. Instead of 4.5 hours, it took us more than 12."

Prós: "Great crew, funny and friendly. Really enjoyed my first experience on Iberia. The Economy Plus was really nice. I wasn't expecting a preflight beverage. Nice touch."

Contras: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."

Contras: "the last truck (madrid - tel aviv) was not with the same airbus that the 3 others (tel aviv - madrid / madrid - buenos aires / buenos aires madrid)... it was like flying in low cost with food (even the chair could not go backwards...very bad the last one"

Contras: "Seat recliner broken at 21B so seat will not stay in upright position. Passenger bouncing through out flight banging my knees. Passenger behind continually kicking my seat, passing people grabbing seats and jerking it. NOT A FUN RIDE"

Prós: "Chaos at the airport, but as soon as inside the airplane almost everything was excellent. Head stewardess in Eco was phenomally friendly"
Contras: "One staff member extremely unfriendly to everybody. Also, Iberia was not able to sit groups together."

Contras: "While making the reservation online it said that you could declare your luggage when you do online check in 24 hours before your flight and the charge would be 15 euro's per bag or if you wait and do it at the airport it would be 30 euros per bag. I tried numerous times to do the check in before our flight and it kept saying unable to complete. I explained this to the agent at the airport and he still charge us 30 euros per bag."

Contras: "They kept delaying the flight and then cancelled. I had to take uber to Penn Station and then AmTrack to Union Station. Otherwise I would not have gotten back until over 24 hours later the next day. So, in the end I had to spend over $200 more to get home. I really have never had a good experience flying Iberia."

Prós: "The in flight entertainment and personal touch screen were great. The captain seemed to do well with abating most turbulence."
Contras: "The cabin crew weren't all that friendly and were super stingy about giving out water during the flight. The legroom was very limited compared to my last trans-Atlantic flight."
