Contras: "Economy is not very comfortable and still expensive. Espescially when the person in front lowers their seat."

Contras: "Voo com atraso de 40 minutos. Não deixaram os passageiros com conceção sair primeiro. Não havia ninguém para nos acompanhar. Ninguem sabia dar informações viemos para o hotel sem bagagem porque ninguém sabia quando chegava."

Contras: "Não pude fazer o vôo por falha grave da swiss que atrasou e não teve o cuidado de fazer com que os passageiros chegassem à sua conceção atempadamente. Senti-me muito desamparada."

Prós: "flight was totally fine. Thanks to Swiss hotline, they could find my booking and send me the documents some hours before take off."
Contras: "Kayak has asked for my e-mail and phone number which I provided but never received any order confirmation. Finally it seemed that my flight was never booked. Unluckily Kayak did not forward my contact details to the other brookers in between and definitely not to Swiss. Never Kayak again."

Contras: "This was one of the most empty flights I’ve ever been on. With that, lots of room for carry on baggage. I fail to see why it was necessary at all. It delayed my journey when time was of the essence."

Call airline , airline say you didn’t buy ticket from as and you go beck and for straits out same we’re in Europe ......thank bot never again think twice when you bye ticket from kayak ....."

Contras: "It was extremely warm on the flight; consequently, I was unable to sleep. This was my second overly warm Swiss Air flight. After numerous complaints on the first flight, the temperature was lowered, but the second flight remained warm."

Contras: "The seating was almost unbearable. So small and cramped. Arm rest didn’t go all the way up so very hard to cuddle with my seat mate (my daughter). I couldn’t even put my arms by my side without pushing my seat neighbors off. Seat in front of me was in my lap. Hard to get out of seat to use restroom. Way to tight. Long flight from Boston to Zurich was so hard to bear. I understand making money...but this is ridiculous!!"

Prós: "After almost completely adapting to the spartan amenities of US domestic airlines, my recent SWISS flight had a too-good-to-be-true quality that rendered my travel companion and I giddy with delight. My dinner (one of three food services) consisted of chicken, potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad, a dinner roll with butter, gruyere, and a strawberry tart... included cream and sugar signaled an inevitable coffee service. This was accompanied by complimentary wine and sparkling water, and heavy-weight stainless cutlery. The seat reclination was good, and the in-flight entertainment was a cut above. Coming off many Frontier flights with pay-for-beverage service, no leg-room, and un-reclining seats, it was about as good as coach can get. I'm actually looking at SWISS routes first before I plan my next vacation."

Contras: "Always when one sits in the back of the plane, they run out of one meal. The food was ok. Not sure why they serve ice cream and cheese as a snack."

Contras: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

Contras: "I did not like the way Beatice of Swiss Air in Zurich completely rushed me at the gate without trying to talk to Mr. Mueller at checkin 1. I told her that He had starte an ardious process in recovering my luggage. She visibly tried to rush me through the process and told me there was othing that could be done. It felt really ugly to be lied to right to my face, when she diditn try to connect with someone from her own staff who had tried alot of heard to work to help me rectify the luggage question. For all we know, my luggage was in Zuruch, and her actions impeded the luggage from getting onto my plane."

Prós: "It's swiss. everything works. always."
Contras: "i didn't like leaving switzerland. but stockholm isn't so bad. gate agent can be a bit more careful when letting pre-boards on - too many people flying to scandinavia do not seem to respect boarding priority."

Prós: "The food was good and the crew was nice."

Contras: "Not even a smile from the purser and one other crew member on the Swedish leg. The captain hurriedly "explained", no one understood him, why we were so delayed, but he did not apologize! Zurich airport has no charging sockets! (Ancient) All of terminal A has not a single one! No one supervised the loading passengers not to interfere with those passing by. It was a complete mess. We took off 50 minutes late from Zurich, with no apparent reason. Worst in years for me. We sat in the plane for 30 minutes and were not offered even water. Big fail! (btw, I am unusually so critical)."

Contras: "Nasty landing, last 5 min plane dropped 4to 5 times for whatever reason. Felt like it was a sesna"

Prós: "Very pleasant flight, excellent take off, didn't feel a thing. The crew was friendly and helpful."

Contras: "Was asked to give up my aisle seat (D 40) seat om a 13 hour flight for a less comfortable one (F). Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. Neither the parent or myself felt very good about my displacement."

Prós: "Business class was full so I could not get an upgrade. There were only 4 lavatories for economy. One of those was broken and there was no water in any of the 3 remaining ones. The crew had no water either and they could not make tea or coffee."

Prós: "The crew was very good--attentive and helpful. The food was excellent too, as they offered regular liquid refreshments and several snacks plus a meal. The chocolate was a special treat."
Contras: "My seat had been given to someone else also, and they boarded before me, so I had no seat for some time. I was told to stand in the back, which I did for a long time. Eventually I sat down on the edge of a place and a stewardess snapped at me. I've had back surgery recently, so all of this was very difficult. Finally given a seat. No internet--big drawback on overseas flights. On our trip there, one bathroom was a mess, plus out of toilet paper. Told the stewardess, and they closed it for a while--took some time for it to be attended to. The entertainment choices are VERY slim--don't know why a more extensive list of choices could not be made available."

Contras: "The flight 2nd flight from Frankfurt to Boston was significantly delayed for a variety of issues, and ( though not really within Lufthansa’s control) the security at Frankfurt was easily the most disorganized & poorly run situation I’ve ever encountered. There was almost constant interruption for announcements at the outset, with information that wasn’t necessary & actually made waiting for an extra hr + more frustrating. I give the crew/staff credit for doing their jobs well enough that it still managed to be a decent flight in the end."

Contras: "I had requested a gluten free meal weeks before my travel and it was not confirmed for the Naples to Frankfurt flight. I think that if I already requested ahead of time that the flight crew should know about it and be ready to provide me with the correct meal even if I don't call back and confirm."

Contras: "Inexplicably, our preassigned seats were changed at checkin and we were put in bulkhead. This particular Boeing aircraft is pretty poorly designed. Especially the bulkhead in premium economy."

Contras: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Contras: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Contras: "Flight from Amsterdam was 2 hours late. Caused me to miss connection on train from London to Leeds which then cost me 124 pounds to rebook. No information was forthcoming at all at the airport and there were 3 different departure times given. Absolute chaos. The airline is a joke"

Contras: "There weren't too many options. The movie selection was very limited and the tv show were over 20 years old in some cases"

Prós: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Contras: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Prós: "Everything was good. The crew was very friendly and attentive. The plane was comfortable, with great entertainment on the personal screens. The food was delicious. Flight was on time and actually arrived early, but then we had to wait for a gate (not the airline's fault)."

Prós: "Comfortable flight to Amsterdam for vacation in UK. More meals than expected. Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. Prós: "KLM fed a sandwich even though the flight was only 2 hours. The crew was pleasant. Getting through the Amsterdam airport to catch a connecting flight with only an hour to do so was no big deal. Airport staff was pleasant and helpful."

Prós: "Not much of anything. No complimentary food or drink for a nearly five hour flight, and sub- par customer service."
Contras: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Contras: "Counter, and check in, long lines, a lot of people, time spend, and also if the flight didn’t have food you must communicate it."

Prós: "Nothing. The airline changed the departure time for the first leg of my flight so I could not check my connection and had to cancel my flight and rebook with another airline."

Prós: "The crew were friendly and helpful and the flight arrived early, even though we left a little bit late - as such - I was very happy with the flight. The onboard entertainment system was wifi based and there was a USB charging port in the seat too - modern aircraft."

The flight came in slightly late and passports were re-inspected upon unboarding which wasted a lot of time, and Heathrow is a nightmare of an airport on a good day, which made it very difficult to get where I needed to go."

Contras: "Awful service all around. Some type of notification about needing a passport that expires more than 6 months after your retrun date would be nice, either from the airline or from kayak, since you already send so many emails anyway. This would be super easy for you to do and save a lot of people a lot of hastle, since many do not know about this pretty counterintuitive restriction. Anyway, Iberia offered to rebook me the following day and put me on standby for the next flight to give me the morning to renew my passport. However when I came back to check in for the second flight, the original attendant had forgotten to actually add me to the standby list and in the meantime, my connecting flight had become overbooked. The check-in folks argued about whether I could be upgraded to fit onto this flight, but decided that since the original dely was my fault, the best they could offer was a flight at the same time the following day. I asked if I could rebook my return flight to push it back a day, and they told me that figure reservations could only be changed over the phone. I totally accept that monitoring the validity of my passport is my responsibility, but refusing to put in an ounce of effort to assist their customers with relatively unknown and counterintuitive restrictions, then not admitting to fault of your own or lifting a finger to make up for blatantly crappy service if it even slightly affects their bottom line is absurd. Do better, Iberia. Oh wait, you're an airline. I won't hold my breath."

Contras: "There is not enough space for my legs and specially when the passenger in front move the seat"

Prós: "Very comfortable. Service good"

Prós: "The flight was short and smooth."
Contras: "Iberia put me on standby with no notification or explanation. My entire trip came to a screeching hault. The stress and anxiety of waiting to see if I got on a flight with my new fiancé was wildly inexcusable on Iberia’s end. I am incredibly lucky to have made it on but it is deeply disturbing that Iberia would rely on luck so heavily after screwing me out of a seat I payed a lot for. I would have missed my connecting flights and been stuck in Spain for god knows how long since they wouldn’t tell me other flight information. I am very worried about flying with Iberia again."

Prós: "Some good films to watch"
Contras: "Terrible seats mediocre food our tickets said Iberia but it was actually its low-cost version Level"

Aside from not helping me getting on the plane, and or another connection, they proceeded to tell me after the fiasco that they are in no way elligble to refund anyone and are a 3rd party, therefore not liable. $700 and its not there fault. They just pushed all the paperwork"
Contras: "The fact that no one in this company is liable or helpful in tge slightest after they have your money"

Contras: "The servicie inside the plane"

Contras: "I was late to catch my plain to San Francisco 5 minutes because it was too much people at customs and the plain coming from Madrid was 15 to 20 minutes late due to the bad weather. The plain was supposed to departure at 6:30pm and I got there at 6:20pm the agent at the gate told me that the doors were closed and she gave me a plain ticket for the next flight to San Francisco."

Contras: "Slow service by the flight attendants; poorly stocked food options. perhaps it’s a European thing with budget airlines but to pay for water is unacceptable."

Prós: "Great crew, good dinner but below Average breakfast"

Contras: "Food could have been better."

Contras: "Quando chegámos de Figari e fomos logo fazer o check in não quiseram aceitar-nos porque o avião estava overbooked e tivemos que esperar até todos os passageiros estarem sentados sempre com o risco de nao embarcarmos, o que acabou por não acontecer. A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "We had to take a bus from the gate to the plane, which is fine. But we stood on the bus at the gate for 10 minutes after it was completely full before it finally drove to the plane. Then when we were just outside the plane we had to wait again for several minutes before they would let us off."

Contras: "They turned the air conditioner to a higher temp to accommodate a few complaints and the rest of us suffered. First and cabin crew had it at a refreshing temp . For the last 20 minutes of the flight they turned it down again. To late"

Contras: "I am used to traveling continents with other companies. There has always been 2 check in bags allowed with no extra charge as long as you are under 23kg on each. I get to the airport with my 2 bags ready, TAP tells me on large holidays, they only allow 1 bag to be checked to my specific African destination until January 11. And that one bag will cost me $120. They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. That rule rule is unfair and racist. Now that I am back, I have a bag missing. Wow!"
