Contras: "Voo com atraso de 40 minutos. Não deixaram os passageiros com conceção sair primeiro. Não havia ninguém para nos acompanhar. Ninguem sabia dar informações viemos para o hotel sem bagagem porque ninguém sabia quando chegava."

Contras: "Não pude fazer o vôo por falha grave da swiss que atrasou e não teve o cuidado de fazer com que os passageiros chegassem à sua conceção atempadamente. Senti-me muito desamparada."

Prós: "The crew was very nice and very good. They served the evening meal very promptly. They could have made another trash run prior to everyone trying to sleep for the night flight."
Contras: "The coach seats are narrower than any I have encountered and they are very close to the rows in front and behind. Not comfortable at all."

Contras: "Black box under the front seat. No room for legs. Seat blocked in lower position, impossible to make it stay in upper position. Entertainment wasn't working good: extremely laggy when it was working ... Seats are way too short. You got the neck support into the upper back ... And I am only 1.80m. Overall, I am done with Swiss until they upgrade their planes. Wifi was 99usd for 220 mo ... what a joke. A 20+yo plane for a such reputated company. There was still the ashtrays inside the restrooms."

Prós: "Paid in advance 45.00 a seat to reserve! Otherwise they assign at Check-in! Still ended up with a standard not premium seats in center. I chose 2 side seats online but plane must have changed. Literally could not move. My travel partner ended up spilling wine on himself primarily due to this and 1/2 size drop down trays. Call button brought no help , had to get up and go retrieve steward in back myself!"

Contras: "I flew from Miami to Zurich, Zurich to France, France to Zurich, and Zurich to Miami within the span of a week and they were all at least 30 minutes late. BUT flight attendants came by with water while we were seated and offered chocolate, which I really liked. It wasn't the worst thing for me, but I can see how it's annoying."

Contras: "I'm 6'2 and black. I asked if I could pay to upgrade to business class after viewing coach. They lied and said it was full when I could see empty seats. They bumped up a white female for free 3 hours later."

Prós: "Food usually was very bad on SWISS flights' econ class, this was surprisingly better (just better, not good). Staff were professional and polite though they spoke very loud even when most people around were asleep."
Contras: "At check-in counters, staff managing the queues did not speak English at all, same thing at the security check queue, only Spanish speaking. There should be some clearer instructions of how and where to queue at boarding. Everyone just wanted to cut queue."

Contras: "If one is over child height and the uncaring person in front of you slams their seat into full recline, one will be miserable on steroids. Swiss Air will not correct the small free space capacity (both pitch and width) most assuredly. Thus, I now fully appreciate why fellow travelers embrace airplane knee protectors. "Don't leave home without them," especially on Swiss Air (emphasis added) !"

Contras: "Headsets did not work"

Contras: "An hour late, not Swiss fault but Captain continued to broadcast 5-10 minute delays. Just say it's going to be an hour, then we can all turn our phones back on and go to the lavatory."

Contras: "The service was terrible.. I asked fora napkin and the stewardess got mad at me. Dinner wasn't good and the breakfast was horrible. Everything cramped in a little box. One cup of coffee with one sugar and one cream. Seats were very tight,no room to move. I have always used Swiss but this was such a bad experience, I will reconsider for next time. Contras: "I wished to upgrade to business for aditonal $1000 which resulted in a 15 wait . There was only one person allowed to do that and she was obviously owerwhalmed. I got a smile out of her eventually but the whole process seemed wrong considering the amount of money i spent on that ticket:( Wish whomever I got to first at the counter were able to make the change and spare me the walking around and waiting."

Prós: "Service-first class! The hosts did their best to keep me comfortable after my operation. My TV system did not work at all and there was no sound. This was not addressed. The directions were not clear on the control machine. It did not say to keep pressing start after each activity The flight was ice cold during the entire journey. I was told that if the pilot put on a little heat the others would complain."
Contras: "Food was the worst I've had on a European flight. I ordered special food that had n0 preservatives because of my stomach ailment. I got Molly's special pre packed horrible food all through the flight filled with preservatives and prepackaged. I therefore didn't eat anything. They kept giving me kosher food on top of it . That was worse. I did not order kosher food! So on my entire flight, I ate nothing. The hostess finally found a left over but it was horrible as well. A tiny salad with plain head lettuce, not like the Lufthasa food. This continued into breakfast. Molly food was unhealthy and inedible. I ate one piece of packaged cheese for the entire journey."

Prós: "I request tow time for Hindu vegi 1st when I booked and 2nd one day befor my departure with costumer service and they confirm because last tme i flue in outher airline and i had same problem and i hard good things about Swiss air but I was very unhappy and dicipoint in my flight they told me they didn't have eany information for my special .request For my bussness i fly two times a year to India next time lam not suor I will fly with Swiss air"

Prós: "the food was good and i like not having to deal with private screening from tablets."
Contras: "The space between rows are uncomfortably narrow (and I am a short person). It also does not help when the attendants would not want to disturb a sleeping but have no problem allowing us to eat off a tray with our forehead touching the back of the seat in front. This happened to me on the entire journey on Swiss from Miami to Zurich to Cape Town. It is almost a health hazard not being able to move and forget about trying to even use a laptop because when the person in front recline her seat, you have no room to even type (and my laptop was only a 13 inch Mac.) I am a million miler on United and this is one of the most miserable flights that I have taken. I also don't like the fact that we cannot get seat assignments until 23 hours before departure- not even for preferred travelers."

Contras: "On 4/23/2016 I missed connecting flight from Zurich to Zagreb because Miami - Zirich flight delay and horribly slow security in Zurich. To make the issue worse "somebody" (???) automatically deleted ny return ticket portion."

Contras: "While trying to get a gate pass to pick up our son from the gate Delta service makes it very hard to know where to go and get the pass and then they only had one person working at ticket assist. Totally unacceptable. Many managers walking around but no one actually helping."

Contras: "Rather than pay luggage fees, people are bringing on their luggage and the flight ALWAYS runs out of space. Suitcases are being moved around right at people heads and more than once I've been hit and seen other people be hit in the head by a suitcase. Getting luggage in place used to be a simple and minor issue, now it occupies much of the time, energy, and attention of the cabin crew as well as the gate crew. I realize this is making money for Delta but the cost is being paid by people being hit in the head with luggage and the crew's unavailability to deal with other issues."

Contras: "Food was awful. Didn't get my checked luggage in Manila upon arrival, was traced and left in New York JFK. Don't know who messed up with my luggage if Delta connection or China airlines."

Contras: "By mistake I booked my ticket for the wrong date Called to change it, wait time was over 2hrs went to the delta app and it cost me $200 to do it. Get to airport and ask for an up grade not possible but if I paid $200 when rebooking the flight I could have gotten one. Snacks were horrible and I have a delta card and was charged $29 to get in plus a charge for my extra suitcase. It’s ridiculous given the amount of money I spend on m card on the monthly basis. Very disappointing"

Prós: "We were traveling with a 4 month old lap infant, and the crew went out of their way to warm bottles and be friendly in general. The plane was clean and comfortable, and on this leg of our trip the entertainment system actually worked!"
Contras: "The only bad things were those that were totally out of Delta's control: weather delays and absolutely nasty and rude TSA agents who seemed to understand neither the concept of their Pre-Check system (no dedicated lines and no priority) nor the fun of traveling with an infant."

Prós: "I am not one who enjoys flying. I don't think there ever will be a time that I enjoy flying. However, the pilot, stewards, and all other workers on delta were very nice."

I understand the flight is under 3 hours so certain foods aren't available but Delta you upgraded everything else. I enjoy the Tapas box for those that are vegan, kosher, gluten free, etc....PS-the bathrooms are smaller"

Contras: "Plane was dirty when boarding and older than usual with a broken intercom speaker above us - squawking volume that rang every time the captain or seatbelt light came on. Staff were loud throughout this evening flight where everyone tried to get some shut eye. NOT kid friendly. overhead bins didn't fit the standard carry on correctly requiring everyone to place them sideways with wasted space and therefore not enough luggage room for everyone, crowding an already fully booked flight. A few more reasons why we'll never fly delta again"

Prós: "Upgraded to first class so had more room, nicer seats. No lines at TSA, had the first gate past security so a short walk. Nice shopping and food choices."
Contras: "No meal served on flight, only drinks and cookies / popcorn. No entertainment at all. You have to provide your own device. There was wifi but not free, it was so slow I couldn't download the entertainment app, so I gave up and slept. No access to Delta lounge with domestic first class WTF?"

Contras: "Only food available was pretzels. Not even peanuts or cookies."

Contras: "I booked with Delta who doesnt give you limits of weight for the carryon...why since the flight was operated from Airfrance they gave me limits of weight of 12 kg??? one ticket one law pls again, the hostess in my row was very nice, even the steward who was working with her very snob...it's not his job"

Contras: "Delay, delay, delay, delay, no show on the crew so cancelled, delay, delay, delay only to arrive in a different city from my original place of arrival just to go home."

Contras: "This was one of the worst Lufthansa crews. You could not pay them to care. Many years of flying LH this is the first time I encounter such poor service."

Prós: "Everything is well organized, crew members were great."
Contras: "Aircraft A330-300 sucks. It is SLOW! Boeng-777 did Moscow-Houston flight in 10 hours, but this A330 flew from Frankfurt to Atlanta in the same time. Shelves for baggage are small - it is not enough room for all passenger bags. Entertainment can be better. Food... It could be SIGNIFICANTLY better! Or just do not serve it et al. If I could I would not buy it."

Prós: "The crew was Ok except at the beginning when they could help more inside the plane with finding the seating."
Contras: "I missed the plane shopping because i don’t recall seeing the crew after the meal offering it. I heard the announcement at the beginning of the flight so I was looking forward to make purchases. Later when I asked it was already closed."

Contras: "Lufthansa in Frankfurt is a nightmare. Gates are very far apart and Lufthansa scheduled layovers are very short. We were running close to 2 km from one end of the airport to other with little kids barely making our flights. Boarding was on tarmac even for 747, once in rain once in 40C degrees."

On board announcements said Lufthansa would rebook passengers with connecting flights and tell us arrangements as soon as we landed. No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency."

Contras: "1- the aircraft from cairo to munich was so small that they didn’t allow the carry on baggage and I had to put it with the check in baggage. 2- the special meal ( muslim meal ) that I ordered was a veggie meal !!!!! With no meat or chicken at all , apparently they don’t know what the meaning of a muslim meal is ! It means to have halal meat , we are not vegetarians ! 3- my baggage didn’t arrive to the airport and I filed a report and was told that I will have them tomorrow and now after four days the baggage didn’t arrive yet and I was told that one of them is missing !!!!!!! I can’t hate them enough."

Prós: "This is about kayak. There's no relationship b/w kayak and lufthansa. Booked my flight through kayak going was okay but returning back was messed up. Kayak booked it in such a way that my schedule was from lagos to Frankfurt to Zurich to toronto without considering the fact that I needed a transit visa which I was not aware of as no one to advise me ahead of time . I ended up paying additional $750 CAD just to change my itinary. This was a very sad experience will never use kayak or recommend to others. My booking number is T28V67. They should have customer service agents to advise people."
Contras: "Kayak did not provide useful information regarding my flight and does not have contact centre like call center where customers can reach an agent for further assistance. When I contacted lufthansa was asked to contact kayak but no number for kayak"

Prós: "Agents in the airport helped us avoid long passport lines in order to board connecting flight by putting us forward to front of lines. Otherwise we would have missed connecting flight."

Contras: "Seattle to Frankfurt aircraft was the dingiest and most crammed aircraft I have ever used on an international leg. The seats were tiny so much so that some other passengers were not able to fit in! The lighting was gloomy, restroom dirty within the first hour of the flight, no space to keep any magazine or books on the back rest of the seat in front of you, etc. Overall - such a bad experience. Not expected from Lufthansa, especially as I have had great experience with Lufthansa earlier."

Contras: "We arrived late in Copenhagen and I had 20 minutes to catch my connecting flight. Even though I was checked-in for the Copenhagen to Athens flight it left without me. I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"

Contras: "If you want to have a different meal than what they offer, you have to contact customer service before hand. I never been on a flight so far, where there wasn’t a vegetarian option. So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."

Prós: "On time good food excellent entertainment clean plane good crew"

Contras: "No choice in main course. Only one option Long time since wine or beer is not offered free on a “major” airline. The entertainment was interrupted a couple of times with adds. Seats are tight and space more in line with a discount airline."

Contras: "my ONLY complaint is that I preordered a VEGETARIAN meal and got a VEGAN meal. NOT a big deal, but they should be aware of the difference."

Contras: "Cramped in a tiny seat behind someone well over 6’5 who kept slamming his seat back to get more room. We were later diverted for a person on the flight who had health issues all the way back to Canada when we were practically over Ireland. We flew back I believe an hour and a half back only to not have proper fuel equipment which took fueling forever and caused our crew to go past their duty day which made use get diverted again to Iceland for a new crew and even more gas. We were held on the plane for a total of 8 additional hours! We were never allowed to get off the plane, we were given very minimal food and drink the additional 8 hours, and when my girlfriend asked what was going on your information person in Copenhagen said they had no idea what was going on with my Flight and had no idea where it was."

Prós: "Entertainment great, plane clean and newish. Breakfast way better than most competitors on transatlantic. Fruit salad, hot good sized rolls, yogurt, thick slices of ham n cheese so much better than BA’s downsized granola bar and mini muffin ( that they also serve in the upgraded class!"
Contras: "You really need to either have no legs or be 5’6” or less to fit in the seat without angling sideways. But alas SAS is no worse than the competitors in this department. Crew served meal 2.5 hours into 9 hour flight and about an hour after complimentary drink. My can of Coke was well gone when the mediocre dinner arrived and I got an earful for daring to ask for another one. It finally arrived after dinner with the creditcard machine etc. Yes, it was $4.00. I passed. As the coffee service was in full swing."

Had to stay in the airport over 11 hours due to this delay and had already had a 16 hour layover from the day before. I realize that unexpected delays may occur, particularly in cases where passenger safety is in question, but delays of more than 5 hours cause major inconvenience and I felt stuck in the airport with my bags and having checked out of my hotel room already. Just compensating for lunch is not enough. In the future a partial reimbursement for the flight, access to the priority lounge or a more comfortable facility such as a hotel would provide the passengers with compensation proportional to the inconvenience."

As time passed, I heard a woman on the intercom say something about a lost "jumper". After learning that a "jumper" is a sweater, I asked the nearby airline attendant if the sweater was a navy color, like the one that I had left in the overhead. A female airline attendant came to me, carrying my hang-up bag with my sweater and repeated 4 times that I was lucky because she was about to put my "jumper" and hangup-bag off the plane and leave it in Johannesburg since no one had responded sooner!!!! I was so stunned that I could not say anything. I only kept wondering why would anyone go into the overhead and start pulling things out? Why would someone take such extreme measures and not walk down the aisle, asking every person on the plane, including the people on the back row? This type of thing could happen to anyone. Since I did not have a name tag on the bag and I live in the US, it would have been near impossible to ever find my bag again if left in So.Africa! Plus, the woman went on and on in a very rude & condescending manor when all I could do was sit in shock, wondering why she would take the time to go through the overhead and look for a hang-up bag that does not have a name tag!!!!"

First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."
