The employee at Lufthansa Senator lounge was nice enough to tell us that the crew must have felt like leaving early. She was very nonchalant about the whole issue. She also refused to assist us, and told us we needed to exit the airport and reenter through the ticketing counter. I upheld my end of the deal by reaching the gate in time. This situation needs to be rectified."

The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Contras: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

Prós: "Due to a hurricane, I actually missed my original flight date, but Aer Lingus allowed me to rebook (2 days later!) at no cost, which was really great of them. Absolutely no wait at check-in and very good service there. Got window seats on both legs of flight, with no one in my row. Meals on first flight leg were very good. Crew did a good job and made me confident of their work. Both flight legs arrived early. Everything went well. Very good airline - I will certainly fly with them again."
Contras: "It seems that there was no snack or beverage on the second leg of flight (ca. 3 hours), but I probably just slept through it. Price seemed high for this route and season, but it was much better than any other airline: flying has become expensive in the COVID era. But Aer Lingus keeps us moving ahead. Great job!"

Prós: "The crew were leaders. So much when you fly these days the crew don't take a leadership role. I don't mean, become mean - I mean to be a true leader. Say what needs to be said but don't say it mean."
Contras: "The plane was cold at times. The breakfast muffin could have been healthier....the ingredients were a bit off putting..too much sugar and artificial ingredients!!"

Contras: "It wasnt a BA plane! Food, staff and entertainment all not really up to scratch"

Contras: "2 Hours delay I lost my connection it took like 10 more hours to get to my destination I finally got to my destination my luggage was misiing today is Tuesday July 24th and I’m still waiting no luggage and dress with the same clothes since Sunday"

I was at the airport for over 12hrs and the airline didn't offer an explanation at all or even a food voucher. It was tortourous"
Contras: "Flight was delayed by 2 hours because of hydronic issues. I feel asleep and missed the food which was part of the ticket wasn’t woken up. Was then woken by the passenger behind kick my chair which was not comfortable at all and the entertainment system was something out of the 80s, screen so small could see the picture that well and the touch screen was not that reactive. Cabin crew we grumpy. Ashamed this is called British not what I called British........"

Contras: "The cleanliness of the plans...my tray table has crusted food stains and the magazines in the seat pocket had gum all over them."

Contras: "We started out over 1 hour late. When we arrived in Heathrow we weren't able to take the aircraft to the gate, instead we had to wait for over 30 min for the bus to take us to the terminal which made me miss my connecting flight by minutes. Very frustrating"

Contras: "Apathetic crew and service desk - missed flight with no automatic rebooking - I had to wait for two hours on arrival, then take a bus to a new airport and wait another 6 hours to get on a new flight. No upgrade, no compensation"
Contras: "The bad attitude of BA staff at checkin. My ticket was confirmed but found out I was waitlisted when I got to the airport."
Prós: "I loved the crew - they were very helpful and communicative. The food was also good, and I enjoyed the movies."
Contras: "My seat would not recline, so when the lady in front of me reclined her seat, eating and watching movies became difficult. The crew were very helpful in trying to solve the problem, but the seat was broken so they could do nothing to help me. They offered to move me and my son, but we had settled in and so decided to decline the offer."
