Great crew. Food - meeeehhhh and the seats curve forward?

Contras: "I paid for business and there were no TVs or any entertainments from Portugal to Boston on Airbus 321. The seats barely reclined so basically I was charged for business and got a premium economy seat. They do not have a business section, never flying with them again."
Prós: "Food, and comfort"
Contras: "Boarding process was a zoo..."
Prós: "Flight left Boston on time and arrived in Ponta Delgada 15 minutes early. Very clean and well maintained Airbus 321"
Prós: "Very nice crew. Appreciate the meal and service good flight"
Contras: "Made us ship our carry on bags which we didn’t appreciate ! Even boarding early ! Did not being packed in busses then made to wait both at terminal and plane for long periods !"

Contras: "The crew never announced that the flight was delayed by one hour. Boarding was disorganized even with the plane being half full. The crew is Ok and not taking control of situation."
Prós: "I’m alive"
Contras: "The entire flight had to wait before two other flights to board that were scheduled to board after us. Flight took an extra hour to reach the destination, and during the flight the crew was constantly banging into me when I had my arms within the arm rests. Once at the airport, our entire flight had to wait for a flight that landed after our’s luggage to come through the conveyor belt. There was only the option of fish for food. Who offers basically microwaved fish on a flight, everyone knows you shouldn’t reheat fish. There was also no entertainment on a 6 1/2 hour flight and the WiFi would not connect."
Prós: "Left and arrived on time. Friendly crew. Decent snack served early in the flight."
Contras: "No entertainment beyond watching the map showing the progress of our flight."
Contras: "They had us board from the front and the back of the plane, and a gridlock ensued in the middle with people trying to cross paths to get to their seat. When we landed, we sat on the runway for 20 minutes or so waiting for a gate. Customs/immigration in Boston was HORRIBLE, we waited in lines for over 90 minutes."

Prós: "The airline crew/staff was FAR MORE SUPPORTIVE than I have experienced in more than a dozen top ranked airlines. In particular, there was a crew member named GONCALO RODRIGUES, who seemed to have led every other member to perform at their best, by his model of service toward the passengers (customers). Such a staff can/must be utilized for training purposes and be rewarded in order to follow the concept of continuous improvement and stay abreast with leading airlines..."
Contras: "There are a few points that need to bee taken into serious consideration - for instance - like as below: 1. More choice of meals on board... There was ONLY PORK containing meal served during the flight and nothing else was available, which came as one big surprise. 2. My Baggage did not get boarded... and had to waste a great deal of time... The misplaced baggage staff member at the Toronto airport need more training toward customers' satisfaction. 3. More choice for on-board entertainment"
Prós: "The staff were nice, I was sitting in a bulkhead seat so that was nice to have extra room."
Contras: "There was no entertainment (broken) and the meal was not the greatest."

Contras: "Flight was delayed, but they never made an announcement so we were overcrowded in airport waiting area, many people standing up, not enough seats, and we were kept in the dark Felt like we were being held hostage. Instead of boarding by rows, they let everyone go through all at once which caused the aisle in plane to be blocked. No organization as far as boarding."

Contras: "Flights on Azores Airlines/SATA are always delayed. It is a shame that it is the only airline that flies to Terceira Island. They delay flights due to "operational issues" because they cannot get their stuff together. The crew was also unfriendly and while we were already 4 hours delayed one of the crew members (leader) had the audacity to tell her team "why are you guys in a hurrry for?" HELLO! We are already lady. Work harder and faster so we can make up some time. The food was disgusting and they barely give you anything to drink. Also, the planes are very old. Seats uncomfortable, no leg room, no TVs and stink."
Prós: "Flight staff was professional, vegan meal was decent, good leg room"
Contras: "Seats were fairly hard and uncomfortable for a long flight"

Contras: "Waited in line 30 minutes before boarding even though we had already been through security. Business and first class passengers not given any priority in boarding. Limited food and beverage service onboard. Crew seemed inexperienced."

Contras: "- There are no more direct flights into Terceira (coming from the U.S.A.) which is ridiculous!!! - Both flights were delayed. The one from Boston to São Miguel was delayed 4 hours. The flight from São Miguel to Terceira was delayed in 30 minutes. - As if the delay wasn't enough, we had to return to gate as the plane prepared for takeoff because of technical problems. SATA (Azorean Airlines) international planes are too old..."
Prós: "Flight cancelled, were told we'd be called the next morning to reschedule but weren't, an hour on holdeach time we called, rescheduled a flight with extra stops 2 days later, was actually booked on a different flight, and were told we were actually only on standby when we arrived at the airport."
Prós: "The flight crew runs an extremely tight ship. Polished and attentive."
Contras: "We arrived to the check in queue 90 min before our flight and it took almost two hours to get through the line. Our seats got swapped and it was a cluster to make it to the gate where we then waited another 45 min for a later departure."
Prós: "Nothing-will never fly this airline again"

Prós: "Asked for emergency seat, so space was not a problem. Temperature was cool. Seat uncomfortable."

Contras: "Trying to be impartial on this review as it was my return trip that was a nightmare. I honestly just slept through the entire flight. It seems pretty obvious that SATA Has a monopoly on US flights to the Azores and they are making no effort to improve service."

Prós: "Nothing. We didn't take this flight because of the SATA airline strike which left us stuck in Ponta Felgada for 2 days."
Contras: "We were majorly inconvenienced when finding out our flight was delayed, then cancelled completely, the. It happened again the next day. Lost 2 days of our trip whih were supposed to be in Lisbon. We found a Ryanair flight to Porto just to get to the mainland. What a nightmare. Never flying with Azores/SATA again!!"
Prós: "The flight left on time, flight attendants were friendly, some options on the TV (better than none)"
Contras: "Not much offered on the TV entertainment systems. The food was pretty bad. Otherwise the flight was fine."
Prós: "Happy for the incoming Barcelona passengers to make this flight. Ticket agent told us how to snag a couple of free seats, once everyone on board, so we could stretch out for 5 hr. flight. They serve brewed tea!"
Contras: "One hour late departing made for an extra long day of traveling. Be prepared for boarding a bus at gate to get to plane."
Prós: "1 booked flight and selected seats months ahead. On date of departure reseated in middle section though previously booked window seats. 2 after arriving in Portugal informed return flight was cancelled due to crew strike. Told we can wait in Portugal or rebook on new airline. You can't make this stuff up."
Prós: "well im not an expert but , my flight was 2.5 h late , i understand thinks happen , but i believe is solution on that . On my job if im late my costumers dont coming back ( it is just how to control the time ) If we not can control the hours on the flights how we can control airplanes in the air ????!!!!!!!!!! Contras: "Flight was cancelled because TAP flight was 2 hours late in picking me up."
