The best part was that I could check in 2 luggages per person in addition to the carry-on!!! Yes 2 pieces! Can't forget the little pouch they give you with slippers, socks, tooth brush kit, ear plugs, and the sleep mask for your eyes. By industry standard, the head phones are better than most other. You feel like a first class traveller in economy when you compare to a similar booking with other european airlines."
Contras: "Because of the fact that they are a part of star alliance I thought that we would be stacked like economy cargo as done with lufthansa, swiss, sas, austrian etc., but turkish airlines completely lives up to and is the star in that alliance, something their partners can learn from."

I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

Contras: "The boarding began with delay. The boarding call eas absent or hard to hear anyway. The boarding sign was on two places simultaneously, with vision obscured by the in-building wall pillar. Most passengers were sitting in the waiting area expecting the boarding call to be announced on that obvious gate, while they started boarding on another gate around the corner. And it was not Croatia Airlines staff, but some airport personnel. Before landing, flight attendants let some passenger have luggage on the floor in front of the seat in the exit row, which does nit comply with the safety standards. Likewise, some passengers were already using cellular signal before landing, which is another lack of precaution. It us true that flight attendants cannot see whether each and every passenger obeys safety measures, but they should better pass through the aisle and check it rather than grabbing their own seat so early, eapecially when the flight was only half-booked."

After we said yes, we had about a 15 minute wait while the attendant rearranged our information, and then we were whisked to the front of the security line, and immediately boarded. They hadn't even told us they'd upgraded us to business class! One of the best flight experiences I've had."

When I found the counter; I didn’t see any sigh by Croatia Airlines. Short story, I ended up to pay 40 euro for my 20 kg baggage’."

Prós: "All went right namely the seats but the luggage condition is the worst"
Contras: "Air France is not a low fare airlines, I had to pay 225 USD against 3 luggages which is not acceptable. We should have the right for one luggage per ticket as all other airlines. If I knew this will happen, I wouldn’t use Air France and this will be the last time I buy a ticket on Air France"

The entertainment system kept crashing and forgetting what shows everyone on board we’re watching. There were no air vents to control. The games crashed constantly. The usb hubs didn’t work."

Contras: "Cabin was very cold. Not enough legroom compared to orher international carriers. Male flight attendant kept bumping into my husband sitting in aisle seat so he unable to get any sleep. We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

Contras: "The food was the worst airline food I have ever been served. I could not eat it. This is very disappointing for an airline like AirFrance which usually serves very good meals."

Contras: "After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

The biggest problem is they were picking and choosing which bags they weighed. 10 people behind us and before us got in without incident. Contras: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."
Prós: "Although we departed late from Paris, it arrived on time to Mexico City. Most of the stewardess very professional and kind."
Contras: "Although we traveled in Business, all business cabins were full of children, tired crying, walking around. My suggestion to AIR France would be that the small cabin of business were assigned to adults only. Regarding food, some options were not available when our turn came."

When traveling internationally, this should be considered. Rome airport (FCO) could do a better job of managing passengers with quick connections. It was a mess."

Contras: "The flight was only supposed to take two hours but instead they sat around for another hour and a half or so and then there was so little leg room that my knees even if I was all the way against the back wall showed into the seat in front of me so bad that I had to stick them out in the aisle and said crooked and then my seat would not latch"

Contras: "The flight was operated by Alitalia, so my bad review is about it: 1- they made us pay 75 euro for 4 extra kg on the luggage; 2- once on board we had to wait 45 minutes before leaving the airport; 3- there was no entertainment on the plane which looked like a very old plane; 4- they served us a tasteless sandwich and muffin(MEA flight serves a full meal) 5- the choice of drinks was poor: water, Coca cola, tea or coffee, no juices or alcohol; 6- we asked for water 3 times and the flight attendant never came back; Being an expensive flight I was expecting something more than a low coast flight company. VERY DISAPPOINTED."
Prós: "Once arriving in Rome, the agents were very helpful in getting us a hotel for the night. However, at that point, it was very late and we had to wait for everyone else to be accommodated as well. It would have been a better process to have allowed passengers more information prior to arriving in Rome at 22:00"
Contras: "We missed our connecting flight to Palermo. For hours before, while we were stuck at Heathrow, we had little to no information as to what would happen once we landed in Rome. We were traveling with two small children and this was extremely frustrating and tiring."
Prós: "Initially I was a little worried because Alitalia had given us some disappointments in the past, but it was the most convenient flight this time for our final destination.We had to take 3 flights to arrive to our final destination, 2 with Alitalia.The crew was polite, helpful. We were very happy that for the first time Alitalia didn't loose our luggage(!) and we got it in Athens. Thank you!!!"

Also inspector from customs very rude , yelling at my wife in Italian , my wife didn't know what was happening . And up to this moment we still don know My suggestion Train your staff in politeness and learning English"

They just changed it for Austrian Airlines but I don't like Austrian Airlines and i had also an Insurance for this ticket. After a long conversation I could fly by Lufthansa with stopover in Frankfurt."

The "E ticket" didnt have: Terminal Carrier i.e. Air Italia The flight numbers Any record or reference number the airline(s) could use. Could not purchase a bag and had to pay extra at the airport Whilst clearing security Air France pulled me out of line found me to be 1 killo over, and air Italia demanded another 75 euros. Not the first time this has happened. I pointed out numerous french people passing with very heavy bags and indeed helped several women lift 20+ kilo bags on the flight into the overhead bin on this flight and others. They all were french and never were they stopped with their heavy bags "Oh" the "security" guy said "I thought you were English!" "Not so" said this Irishman "And you are racist". To no avail and all part of Air france's business plan to charge the dreaded Estranger extra. Never again will I fly Air France. Id rather take a train, drive or even walk. Very bad experience start to finish and yes so very Air France; well Air Italia too.."

Contras: "The seats were the most uncomfortable my husband and I have ever experienced. The huge headrest forced us to sit bent in a C shape with our heads bent down, no way to sit normally and relax. It was pretty close to torture for a long flight. I just wanted to rip the thing off the back of the seat. I will never fly on a B777 again if I can help it. Its particularly rich when the captain comes on the address system and tells us to sit back and ENJOY the flight. Additionally, boarding started a full hour before scheduled departure, then the flight was delayed an additional 45 minutes while they waited for somebody's luggage. If you boarded early, you got to enjoy sitting there nearly 10 hours for an 8 hour flight."
Contras: "Staff was overwhelmed and not helpful. They don't seem to want to make sure flights are on time or that passengers are taken care of."
Contras: "No in-flight entertainment (not even radio). Seat headrests not adjustable, so bad luck if you are tall. Food was the smallest pastry I think I've ever seen. Tray table was dirty when I folded it down."
Contras: "I CHECKED IN 24 HRS AS REQUESTED AN BOOKED SEATS FOR FLIGHT & CONNECTION BUT COUKDNT PRINT BOARDING CARD ONLY AT THE AIRPORT.AT THE DESK THE ALITALIA LADY TRIED FIRST TO USPELL MY SEATS FOR 400$, THE SHE SAID THAT I DID NOT COMPLETE CHECK IN SO SHE IS FINISHING IT BUT I HAVE A CONFIRMATION OF THE COMPLETE CHECK IN.THEN SHE CHANGED A FEW TIMES MY RESERVED SEATS (AND SOLD THEM )AND AT FOR THE TRANSFER FLIGHT SHE BOOKED THE SAME SEAT FOR ME AND MY WIFE AND WE CORRECTED IT IN ROME,,,VERY BAD BEHAVIOR!!!"
