Prós: "The crew were very nice overall but one flight attendant in particular was incredible. I didn’t get a name but he was friendly, welcoming, and kind."
Contras: "I sat in an emergency row with an empty seat to my left and really did not like how the passenger in the row behind me kept getting up and walking into my row to get his stuff from the bins."

Contras: "We had a crying baby onboard for the entire flight. I found it difficult to sleep as a result but understand this was outside the control of the airline. A bit more legroom would have been nice but I booked economy so again that was on me."

Contras: "It took a long time to board the plane and there was literally no line at the boarding gate. When I mean there was no line, its not that there were no people, its that we stood grouped together, because there was not enough space for everyone, so no line could form. So people simply cut in front of each other and there was quite a bit of anger and tension.Once we were on board, and seated, they came through and provided a meal. However after about 3 hours, I wanted to get some water to take medicine and I pushed the call light to get the flight attendant to come over and it was literally 45 minutes before anyone came into the economy portion. All of the flight attendants were either in first class, or hiding somewhere else. As one point 5 call lights were on and no one came. My wife got up and started looking for someone and finally I got water to take my pills. Almost an hour after I hit the call button. When the flight attendant came, I asked her if it was possible to purchase a soda, crackers, or anything as my blood sugar was low. She said there is nothing available for purchase, and did not offer anything. The only help I received was from a fellow passenger who offered a candy bar. I can not believe that there was nothing the attendant could offer me. I was willing to pay 10 euros for a soda, and they still said no. That is unacceptable."

Contras: "We spent 65 hours in airports in the Azores trying to get back to the U.S. Flights were cancelled for no reason and others were delayed so long, connections were missed. Airline reps said a bus would take us to lodging for one of the nights, but a bus never showed up (in fact we found out later a bus never existed for this hotel) -- 4 a.m. and waiting in the rain in Boston. We ended up paying for a taxi to this distant hotel ourselves. We learned we could not trust anything the airline reps told us, even though they thought they were saying the truth. If you go to the Azores, leave an extra 4-5 days to get home, particularly if you are not on Sao Miguel. Almost lost my job over this trip because of this airlines. No apology or explanation for flight delays, etc., was ever offered."

Contras: "The plane was old and in a state of some disrepair. We were in the exit row and immediately noticed plastic chipped off of the exit door and broken case covering the emergency release handle. Not reassuring, but we got there in one piece."
