My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Ficamos realmente chateados com a situação, nunca nos tinha acontecido. Embarque muito demorado e avião com lugares muito apertados...acho que a partir de agora vou evitar a Transavia"

Contras: "1. I paid for luggage and had proof. Ground crew said no record of it and I had to pay again. Now have to involve my credit card company. 2. Ground crew was extremely rude. 3. Flight delayed an hour and a half."

Prós: "I liked the fact that my flight was only 2 hours. Other than that it was miserable."
Contras: "The flight attendants were extremely rude. They wouldn't let me bring the bottle of water I purchased at the gate onto the plane because they wanted to make money by selling drinks. I completely understand that but when I asked for water (just regular water) one flight attendant told me it would be 3 euros. I told her I didn't have any cash on me because I had used it to pay for the water that I bought at the gate that they wouldn't let me bring on. She said "Oh well. Guess you're out of luck." She was rude, hateful and such a disruptive part of my flight. I would NEVER fly Transavia again!!"

Also the seats don't recline in plane, there is no internet or movies on board, and no snacks or drinks are provided complimentary despite taking off over an hour late for an international flight."

Contras: "We had to cancel the trip because my father has recently passed away. We have spent $200+ in phone calls waiting to speak to an agent and to call back for follow up. The agent service is terrible and it’s not fair that we have to call long distance to cancel due to bereavement. I did not think it would be so hard. It’s been very frustrating. We have travel insurance through you and all the paperwork is in French that was emailed to me. The issue is still unresolved and I’m very disappointed."

Contras: "Our flight was delayed for an hour and a half and we had to sit on the plane for the entire time. The staff was rude and short. I don’t think Americans are very populated. Food selection was very limited, but at least we got a KitKat bar. They were out of all the sandwich food/main dishes."

Prós: "We had to pay 60$ for our carry on and it probably costed more than our entire ticket. I am so upset and infuriated at the fact that we weren’t warned in advance. The last easy jet flight we took a week ago we didn’t have to pay for our carry on."

We we're forced to open the bag and put some of the clothes on to make it fit (the most unnecessary thing, since we're carrying the same weight and volume on the plane anyway). If this was not bad enough, after that, we had to check in the luggage anyway because there was no space in the cabin (making the whole process of removing stuff from the luggage even more irrelevant since volume is no longer an issue). EasyJet goes out of their way to inconvenience its costumers so we are forced to pay more to not be harassed by the staff and their random policies. The flight itself: no leg room and no entertainment."
