Contras: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Prós: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Contras: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Contras: "I paid €60 extra to sit in the emergency door seat to get more leg room but once.i was in the plane learned for more leg room I accepted a smaller seat next to a bathroom and no entertainment. I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Contras: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Prós: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Contras: "Stewart jeune et immature, changement de gate 20 minutes avant le départ et avion un peu retardé. J'ai pris une petite valise à main qui devait rester avec moi dans l'avion avec plein de chose fragile à l'intérieur mais malgré toute la place disponible dans l'avion pour la mettre, un Stewart sans explication m'a demandé de la mettre en soute. En effet, je vais pas vous mentir que je n'ai pas bien réagi à sa demande désagréable car la taille et le poid de mon baggage à main concordait avec les règles mise en place par "easyJet". Je me lève un peu plus tard pour demander un simple verre d'eau au même steward qui m'a stoppé pour ma valise, mais celui ci avait décidé de me faire "chié" jusqu'à la fin en prenant tout son temps pour me remplir mon verre d'eau et au lieu de me le donner directement, il a préféré le garder quelque minutes dans sa main en me regardant d'un air moqueurs. Enfin j'ai voulu essayer "easyJet" pour la première fois mais vraiment plus jamais."

Contras: "Don’t be even one minute late for the 40 minute pre-flight deadline or you will not get on the plane. All personnel are trained to say no! They canceled all but one flight that was 12 hours later so we had to go to another airport. They charged us over $120 per ticket to change."

I informed him that I paid extra when I booked, to which he checked his computer and suddenly apologized informing me that I was correct, his computer was just slow.The boarding took a long time, a line formed all the way to the gate. I am not sure what the hold up was, but it took a slow moving line to finally get on to the plane and then to my seat. They charge for everything, no biscuit, pretzel, peanuts, water, coffee, or tea was complimentary."

Contras: "The ground staff of easyJet were horrible. During boarding, my girlfriend was instructed to fit a carry-on on the "bag size check thing" and it didn't fit (barely). We we're forced to open the bag and put some of the clothes on to make it fit (the most unnecessary thing, since we're carrying the same weight and volume on the plane anyway). If this was not bad enough, after that, we had to check in the luggage anyway because there was no space in the cabin (making the whole process of removing stuff from the luggage even more irrelevant since volume is no longer an issue). EasyJet goes out of their way to inconvenience its costumers so we are forced to pay more to not be harassed by the staff and their random policies. The flight itself: no leg room and no entertainment."

Contras: "Very high baggage and other fees that are not publicized. Web site just says checked bags start at 15 euro, actual price was over 50 euro."

Contras: "The return flight was very turbulent, but mostly close to take off and landing."

Contras: "the app is that that great, it gets stook. Also, they don't have any chance to change or re-schedule any flight."

Contras: "To check a bag is about $75 if you do it at airport. We witnessed a number of people who had done carry on from Athens to Santorini not be able to do carry on back. It's a scam on the Island. The bin in which you have to fit your bag is smaller on Santorini."

Prós: "Checking and boarding were easy. Also email reminders were helpful."
Contras: "Could they spare a drink of water? They charged extra for everything, including the air you breathed."

Contras: "Have to carry any carry-on luggage up the metal stairs in any weather, up to plane. Same thing after landing."

Contras: "Boarding process stinks. You have 2 groups but board them all at the same time well let's say start to board by having us wait outside for 20 minutes in 90 plus heat. No water then stand on a hot bus for another 15 or 20. If we want a water after heat stroke it's 2.50"

Prós: "Organization in boarding the plane"
Contras: "When i read the baggage rate, its only 20 euro, when i got there its 40 euro the lady told me its cheaper on line cuz i was there 6 hours early. I didnt know that i have to buy the baggage ahead of time. It would be nice if its highlighted in red when i bought the tix. Also i had to pay extra 30 euro bec i didnt chk in on line, seriously? What is the point of having a chk un counter? Also i was told to come back 2 hours before my flight . As i said i was there 6 hours eatly, when i came back the chk in on line is already closed. Im sure its a common problem , a lot if ppl paid extra and were complaining, they could have told us or have a sign there. Dont u think 30 euro is a lot to pay for not chking in? Is it only in europe? Its better when we book that ppl shld be warn of the pronlem, i paid extra 210 euro bec there are 3 of us plus the internet there suck at the airport , if you get in on the internet in 2 mins you are out or cant get in gor hours"

Contras: "I booked an afternoon flight on Volta. They changed me weeks later to a morning flight. I told them I wanted to cancel my earlier flight and preferred a refund instead. I have never received credit for my cancellation."

Prós: "It was a quick flight."
Contras: "They took me and my wife's carry on, that we had already stored in the over head cabins on 3 flights before this one and told me it was to big. Then they made me pay 120 Euros and asked me to take the bag out to the plane. When I got to the plane the men working with the suitcases said my bag was more than capabale of fitting overhead and let me take it up. So they charged me 120 Euros extra for nothing and only did this once they saw my American Passport."

Contras: "Will never fly them again"

Contras: "Worst airline I've ever experienced, avoid at all costs"

Contras: "Missed our connection they did not accommodate at all Wanted to sell us another flight the next day My brother made the flight and him and his girlfriend had to pay 140 euros for carry on and boarding pass THEIR LOW PRICES ARE A SCAM BAIT SND SWITCH"

Prós: "I cancelled the trip because in reading the fine print, I found the cost of checking a single small bag almost as much as the cost of the flight itself. Cancellation was accepted but took some effort to do it."

Prós: "A flight es eventually arranged"
Contras: "There was zero communication from Volotea over 12 hours of being stuck when a flight was delayed. For a long time I thought the flight was cancelled. Now that I am trying to seek compensation via EU guidelines they are similarly evasive and not helpful."

Prós: "Helpful and smiling staff , seats have good leg room , time of departure was accurate"
Contras: "No food or entertainment"

Prós: "minimum fuss from beginning to end, and no bombarding by emails. their staff all handle carry-on luggage discreetly even when slightly over sized ... Compliments to Volotea."

Prós: "Staff was friendly"
Contras: "Flight was delayed, planes are old, no entertainment and boarding process was unorganized"

Prós: "Flight was fine once we got going but one staff working made for a long long line and a half hour delay. Staff were excellent though."

Contras: "Scheduled departure time was 4:00 p.m., but we did not leave until 11:00 p.m. due to a problem with the fuel level indicator. We were kept in the departure gate for 7 hours without a proper explanation in English. When they finally realized they could not repair the plane, they put everyone on another plane. We were given a voucher to use at the snack counter for 10 euros per person, but when we got to the counter there was no food or wine left. Imagine, running out of wine in France! I understand that mechanical issues on planes happen, but it was left far too long to attempt to repair it. A replacement plane should have been supplied after a one hour delay, not 7 hours."

Contras: "Waited to board for 1 hour- no seat assignments- price to pay for checked baggage increases by the hour as your departure nears. The price for a checked bag was €42 at 10am and when I checked again at 11:30am, price was €55!"

Prós: "Personnel were helpful, polite and spoke English as well as many other languages."
Contras: "Volotea is a low cost airline that charges for early seat assignments, printing boarding passes, luggage and drinks on the flight. There is a service charge added to everything. It isn't as low cost as it initial appears. Beware"

Contras: "There was no airline or flight by his name ."

Contras: "The flight was 5 hours late and the company did not give us any information about when the flight would take off and what the problem was. They sent us a voucher for €10 for our next flight. No thanks."

Prós: "Too short of a flight for food and entertainment! Smooth flight. No complaints"

Contras: "Seating is a bit tight. But ours was a short flight."

Contras: "Hidden fees everywhere with this airline as well as smaller than usual carry-on requirements. My carry-on that fit everywhere else but cost me an extra 40 euros to check with this airline. Also a young women was told at the check-in counter that her carry-on was acceptable but at the gate was told different. They then preceded to demand 60 euros cash as a penalty. Just wasn't right."

Prós: "Everything in the plane felt new, crew was friendly, efficient."

Prós: "Volotea flight was good and I would fly Volotea again but checking in at the Santorini Airport is Chaos for all airlines Santorini Airport needs to organize the check in area with better barriers especially for the very long line of psgrs lining up for security Without barriers it's unclear where the line ends and where those joining the line should go therefore causing a lot of confusion and people trying to bud in"

Prós: "We printed the boarding passes a week prior and we were ready to go! However Volotea emailed us 24 hours prior to tell us some information had changed and we had new boarding passes. We were worried that we had to pay extra as we were already traveling and could not print the new boarding passes. It was no problem! We downloaded the app and the crew just scanned the app boarding passes. It was a huge relief."

Prós: "Nothing, flight was cancelled 6 months ago and I still have not received my refund."
Contras: "Flight was cancelled 6 months ago and I still have not received my refund."

Prós: "The cabin crew don't know their job and don't care about security! They separate my husband and I from our children. They changed our seats, because they 2 people previous to us were too elder to seat at emergency exit. So we got stuck seating at emergency exit and away from our children! Who will put the emergency mask on my children now in case of emergency Volotea airline ?! Learn your job as flight attendant!"

Prós: "Errrm...that we actually got to Palermo alive, that was nice."
Contras: "Kind of sneaky with the hand luggage, you may well have the guidelines in small print somewhere, but you really should allow people to check their bags in online before the flight, as opposed to paying 80 euro per bag, so 160 euros for two bags that didn't even weigh 10kgs each. RyanAir would have been able to fly us the same trip for that alone, with bags! Then when we were boarding, both of our seats were taken - the flight attendant said "Welcome to Italy". So, that's our story. In a nutshell, overpriced, and didn't get the seats on our boarding passes..."

Contras: "Was delayed and had to cancel flight and book a different airline"

Prós: "on time inexpensive and nice flight attendants"

Contras: "We were stuck in the security check and immigration but got to the gate 15 minutes before the flight. As we were arriving at the gate, we saw the last bus leave taking passengers to the aircraft. The lady at the counter kept yelling at us for the next 15 minutes and kept saying we were late and the last bus had left. We were 9 passengers all together and it would have been a lot easier if she would have called the driver to pick us up. After realizing we had small kids, she finally called someone after 15 minutes but that was too late. We missed our flight. There was no supervisor to talk to and no where to file complaints."

Prós: "I didn't like anything about it, it was a horrible experience and I will never suggest this airline."
Contras: "I didn't like service, extremely rude and not helpful. They wouldn't let us check in early, they scammed us into paying $30 each to print out ticket. $40 for a bag!! And to top it off with their extremely rude service I had to go wait in a miserable line at the most in organized airport I have ever been in to pay this outrageous extra $100 complete scam and worst airline ever!!!"

Prós: "The flight was so smooth I forgot I was on a plane. Great landing, too."

Contras: "We arrived at the airport two hours before the flight and were told we had to pay 30 euro/person (120 euro total) for boarding passes. Really?!? We had been checked in, but hadn't printed the boarding passes. They told us that they had just closed the opportunity to do this for free at the airport & we now had to pay the exorbitant fee or no boarding passes and no getting on the plane. No other way around it. It just felt like yet another ridiculous excuse to suck more money out of passengers. Just like the banks...a fee here, a free there will add to the profit bottom line without providing any additional value for the customer. Buyer beware!"

Prós: "Our family of 4 flew Bordeaux to Split; 3 of 4 bags arrived as scheduled. Volotea DID find and deliver the lost bag on the 7th day. So all was happy in the end."

Prós: "Nothing"
Contras: "The flight was delayed , no communication, no bus arrived at the gate to take us to the plane , no communication , no boarding process whatsoever , no communication , no apology offered , no in flight catering offered free or for purchase , a complete joke of a flight , my worst ever and I have flown all around the world including both poles !"

Contras: "They nickle and dimed us on everything including printing my boarding pass when in the end I didn't even need it. The. They were over an hour late They they didn't even serve us a drink on the plane. Worst airline I've ever flown with. if I thought I'd ever get it I'd be demanding my money back."

Contras: "horrible check in process, horrible. there was a line out the door of the airport. one lady checking in an entire plane. the pilot also seemed like a novice due to the incredibly scary landing. The last 15 minutes of the ride was VERY turbulent and the landing was VERY hard."

Contras: "They needed more staff to check people in. Flight was delayed because we were still boarding. Was a cluster."

Prós: "The price was very reasonable. Despite delayed takeoff and boarding area lacking clear instructions, flight boarded quickly and made up most of the lost time. Other flights and trains in Italy seemed to be delayed too!! (not operated by Volotea)! I did pay extra in advance for baggage and printed out boarding cards before leaving USA for Italy. Familiarize yourself with the rules. Ate a sandwich on board, good enough and friendly flight attendants."
