Contras: "The flight left 19 minutes early, stranding 7 people who were connecting from New Orleans. We ran across the entire airport and made it to the gate before departure time. The employee at Lufthansa Senator lounge was nice enough to tell us that the crew must have felt like leaving early. She was very nonchalant about the whole issue. She also refused to assist us, and told us we needed to exit the airport and reenter through the ticketing counter. I upheld my end of the deal by reaching the gate in time. This situation needs to be rectified."

Contras: "Dear Sir or Madam: My two colleagues and I bought our tickets from BWI to Geneva, via London Heathrow, through Kayak as I have many times in the past. However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. And similarly, it was irresponsible of Kayak.com to allow this “apples with oranges” comparison on its website. I’m making three more international trips in December, but I’m inclined not to use either Kayak.com and most certainly not Kiwi.com for future airline ticket purchases."

We purchased prior to the flight. 2 pairs of sneakers a gift spoon for our grandson and other items not mentioned. Then they put her bag on another flight which made her wait for 1.5 hours in Madrid for her bag. Your handlers ruined our trip.How can you allow thieves to do this especially with TSA supposedly there monitoring it? I want a claim form sent to me ASAP so I can recover my goods. A notice was not placed inside, stating it was checked."

BWI-MIA flight was delayed due to air traffic clearance from the thunderstorm and almost missed my connection MIA-MAD by few minutes. Upon arrival in MAD, my baggage didn't make the connection and had to wait for 3 days before my baggage arrived"

Contras: "They were late with boarding to begin with and the process was extremely unorganized and slow. The Air France flight that was boarding next to ours at gate 9 got everybody onto the plane before our flight did and their plane was scheduled to take off 10 minutes AFTER us. The boarding attendant didn’t do a good job of announcing the group number for boarding. After priority and no baggage passengers, it was just one big mob. Our boarding passes were in group 1 but my mom ended up being one of the last people let through. The 2 attendants made her wait because they needed to tag her luggage. I guess they felt it was too big for carrying on. Which is fine. But they literally made her stand there while they let almost everyone else in line through. They even tagged other luggages and she was still waiting. And when she asked them about it, they told her to wait and they have to assist other people. What’s the point of being group 1 for boarding then? We still had to wait til pretty much everyone else went in. And the fact that our seats were in row 29 which is at the tail end of the plane made it even worse. Now we need to squeeze by 28 rows of people when we could’ve been in our seats and out of the way a long time ago. Terrible service!"

Contras: "I couldn't check in online because I don't have 2 surnames. I arrived at Granada airport early to allow plenty of time to check-in. So did about a thousand other people. There was only one person available to check everyone in for Iberia. It was grateful. Plane was old. Not even a glass of water was offered."

Contras: "Horrible flight; no complimentary soft drinks are served, not even better. The baggage did not arrive and Iberia does not even deliver the baggage, even though the fault was theirs. You have to go to the airport to recover the baggage. I would NOT RECOMMEND this airline to anyone. The plane was quite old and there are no screens on the seats. One of my worst experiences flying in the last 40 years."

Contras: "There were delays at Heathrow due to fog. Rather then backing up all planes by an hour or so, BA gave our plane away. We experienced a 6 plus hour delay. So after flying for nine hours from the U.S. overnight to London, we had to sit around the airport, while watching other planes take off on time. We got in so late to Madrid that our hotel room that we reserved months earlier was given away. After being awake for over 24 hours we had to walk around Madrid at 11:00 pm at night, looking for someplace to lay our weary heads."

Contras: "They switched someone into my seat and didn't give me a new seat. It was very hot in the airplane making it very uncomfortable. They also forgot to take my tray before landing and I had to hold it in my lap."

Prós: "Entertainment package consisting of up-to-date TV shows/ series and movies that have recently been released. The time passed by faster than expected with this. The meal plan was better than some restaurants. With Meatballs being the main course followed by rice & veggies and finished with the sugar cake."
Contras: "Having the seat by the bathroom. Even though passengers were instructed not to form a line, they did and were encroaching in my personal space for the majority of the flight. Though this is not an airline issue, it did effect the comfort of the 4.6hr flight."

Contras: "I was late to catch my plain to San Francisco 5 minutes because it was too much people at customs and the plain coming from Madrid was 15 to 20 minutes late due to the bad weather. The plain was supposed to departure at 6:30pm and I got there at 6:20pm the agent at the gate told me that the doors were closed and she gave me a plain ticket for the next flight to San Francisco."

Staff person with the microfone and staff controlling the lne were not in sink, gave confusing instructions. Too much noise in the abin with the lights out due to the presence of lots of high schoolers talking Distance between seats kind of small"

Contras: "There were no vegetarian/pescatarian meals available so I literally ate bread rolls for dinner & the tv audio was broken. I paid $40 for 45 MB of WIFI so that I could work and the internet lasted about 10 minutes. i couldn't even send an email within that time. The tv screen itself kept flipping back down to the aisle. Finally, the temperature was freezing & the bathrooms were disgusting."

Contras: "Quando chegámos de Figari e fomos logo fazer o check in não quiseram aceitar-nos porque o avião estava overbooked e tivemos que esperar até todos os passageiros estarem sentados sempre com o risco de nao embarcarmos, o que acabou por não acontecer. A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

My traveling companion's luggage was never delivered to our destination and really made for a less enjoyable trip (since she had to purchase everything anew, as well as having to repeatedly contact the airline to check on the bag - receiving multiple inaccurate stories as to what happened). It makes me far less likely to fly or recommend this airline again. Luggage tracking should be a very simple process."

Prós: "I liked that I made it from Marrakech to Madrid in one piece."
Contras: "Everything. People were getting up, switching seats, in people's way, screaming over other passengers. The crew MAYBE twice said something to the passengers but essentially washed their hands of it. They just let them run amuck. Even when going through some turbulence the pilot came on to tell everyone to sit down. No one did, but the air stewards also didn't say anything. Do you know what it's like to have an unwanted man's private area in your face for several minutes while he holds a conversation, though you ask him to move, but he continues? It's disrespectful. Then when boarding, they opened the front and back doors, so people were coming in both ways. People in seat 7A were coming from the back to the front and people in 23C were coming from the front to the back. Literally a handful of people on this flight had consideration for others and let them pass. Others were just shoving their way through, or exhaustively waiting for someone to finally stop talking and get in their seat, so they could pass. It was a nightmare. And still, the crew did nothing."

Prós: "It was on time. It was efficient."
Contras: "Should offer at least water."

Contras: "I am filing a complaint for my recent flight from Madrid to Chicago, IL on 2/26/17. During my flight, a five year old sat in front of me who was disruptive throughout the whole 9 hour flight. He was yelling and slamming on his tray table nonstop. This made it hard to sleep or relax on the flight. He was disruptive to everyone in the whole cabin. I tried to be patient, as it was a child, but when the child started climbing the seats of the row and kicking his legs in the aisle, I had to act. Not only was the child a hazard to the well being of the passengers of the flight, but he could have hurt himself. His parents did not seem to act on his behavior and did not speak my language so I was forced to approach the flight attendant in my cabin. I told the attendant, “N. Cara” as her name tag stated, how concerned I was with the child’s safety and how he was disrupting the flight experience of all the passengers on the flight. She was disgruntled as I was the third passenger to approach her. Instead of acting on the situation, she scolded me. In a rude and derogatory tone, she yelled at me claiming she couldn’t do anything and I should just move to a different seat. She yelled so loud she attracted the attention of all the passengers around. I am shocked and disappointed with the treatment and customer service I received from the crew on this flight. Furthermore, I recommend that the airline should ensure that their employees are competent enough to deal with situations where passenger’s safety are at risk. The fact that the crew member did not attempt to approach the child’s mother or address the situation at all was appalling. It should not be the customer’s responsibility to address disturbances or safety precautions on a flight. I do not think I was treated well on this flight and I am very unhappy with the services I received and paid a great amount of money for. I believe I should be compensated for the mistreatment I endured. This may have been the worst flight I have ever had and I do not plan on choosing Iberia Airlines ever again due to this experience."

Prós: "Everything fine. Attendants very good"
Contras: "Everything fine"

Prós: "Upon boarding the flight attendant looked at my seat # and directed to to the correct side of the aircraft. I found this to be very helpful, since on the trip over I was in the wrong side had to bother people to move so I could get to the correct side of the aircraft. Travel can be very stressful, this made boarding quicker and easier."

Prós: "Great selection of movies and the food wasn't too bad."
Contras: "The guy in the same row as me took off his shoes and used the remaining seats between us as a bed. I thought it was rude and disgusting and showed a lack of spacial awareness. Blankets were not very soft. Also, one of the flight attendants was really struggling to push any of the trolleys, running into the arm rests of the seat."

Prós: "nothing"
Contras: "had a booked flight from madrid to gatwick, london and connection the next day at 11 am to Tampa US. We were at the airport at 1500. Flight was supposed to board at 1820 and leave at 1850. When checking the board, the flight's boarding was anticipated to 1810. We were at the gate at 1815 and there was an electronic sign signaling "boarding". However there was no personal, no line of waiting passengers and no plane. Upon checking we were told that the plane had already left. (this was at 1828). The only way to make our connection in london was a flight to Heathrow later with BA. Then we had to get a taxi to get to gatwick. Will never fly Iberia again."

Prós: "The flat bed"
Contras: "The Captain made loud announcements waking you up"

Prós: "There is nothing to like about the flight"
Contras: "There was no entertainment , no food for a 4 hour flight. The flight is more expensive than other airlines. I will not recommend or flight with them again. The flight was full and I think the route is profitable to them. I guess if you can exploit people, why not do it."

Contras: "Comida, vergonhosa. Bebidas ok"

Prós: "I didn’t like a thing. The crew from the gate all the way to the end was rude and nasty. The crew scanning people to get on the plane were so rude at the beginning it was the worst and I fly for my work and I’ll never fly TAP air Portugal again."

Contras: "Use jet bridge instead of bus gate"

Prós: "Fairly new plane with clean/comfortable seats"
Contras: "Bus transportation to the plane was delayed. People were uncomfortable having to stand in the bus for so long. Then the flight was delayed for 15 minutes due to airport traffic. As the only business class passenger i would have expected to be offered a drink then or even a bottle of water at my seat"

Prós: "Assento bom, preco bom, viagem optima"
Contras: "30 min atraso"

Prós: "Pillows, blankets and earphones waiting on the seat and it was a lovely crew. Hurricane Dorian made us late for our connecting flight but we were impressed with the efficiency of a waiting rebooked boarding pass upon arrival."
Contras: "Even with an upgraded seat purchase they were uncomfortable and hard to sleep in. This is an ongoing problem on most airlines. One would think that with technology, a better system could be designed..."

Prós: "Boarding efficiency although the ... see below. Loved the salmon wrap and cheese 'n' biscuits"
Contras: "flight was delayed at check in and on the tarmac - 40 minutes. No explanation for this"

Contras: "Real time information about departure and gate info for delayed flight would have been helpful"

Contras: "Probably the most uncomfortable flight I have taken in a very very long time. The ride was smooth but the seat was so terribly uncomfortable. I was in pain on arrival."

Contras: "We had to pay $120 for a checked bag because it “weighed too much”. The lady at the check in counter said they were weighing everyone’s at the gate so there was no way to get around it This however was a lie and they were not checking weight and people got on without having to pay the outrageous fee"

Prós: "Got where I was going safely and on time :). Decent leg room, food, comfortable seats."
Contras: "No sound in TV, and no way to adjust subtitle languages (that I could ding). Pretty long delay standing in line to board."

Prós: "The only salvation was the entertainment choices. ."
Contras: "The planes need to upgrade the seats. When we were served food if the person push their seat back your food tray would flip like two did on our flight. Staff was jaded and sarcastic. I'm glad I had a discounted flight. I'd be angry if I paid full price. Poor staff, seat architecture, and poor food."

Contras: "Checked bag fee was expensive at $120 per bag. For the two of us bags cost $240. The plane boarded late this departed and arrived late. Otherwise a very good flight. Very comfortable, all Amenities worked, the plane was clean and the staff accommodating."

Contras: "When TAP couldn’t get me to Lisbon in time to make my connection they added a flight to Madrid where I waited until 16:00 to fly to Seville. I talked to several TAP representatives and none were helpful or apologetic and they offered me nothing for the problems they caused. I missed my only day in Seville due to this. This trip turned out to be a disaster."

Contras: "Atraso do voo, mais de 5 horas de atraso para a hora de chegada prevista, com uma espera de mais de 2 horas dentro do avião"
