Contras: "Dear Sir or Madam: My two colleagues and I bought our tickets from BWI to Geneva, via London Heathrow, through Kayak as I have many times in the past. However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. And similarly, it was irresponsible of Kayak.com to allow this “apples with oranges” comparison on its website. I’m making three more international trips in December, but I’m inclined not to use either Kayak.com and most certainly not Kiwi.com for future airline ticket purchases."

Contras: "The plane was actually about to fly off when it suddenly skidded to a stop. We weren't informed about the reason, but all of a sudden, the plane couldn't take off for over two hours. My family and I ended up missing our connecting flight home. BA tried compensating with food vouchers and rebooking us onto another flight, but our family got split up in the process and we were all assigned to different middle seats."

Delta recently charged me $ 285 per extra bag Coming back BA charged me $90 and allowed me two bags The new policy on many airlines to literally rob a customer Is disgusting and the govt authorities should put a stop To it BA is welcoming and always professional !"

Dumb down your operations but don't insult your customers. Tell them what they are getting when booking a bus type business class seat. Worst business practice ever, driven by European style of travel BUT call it premium economy, not BUSINESS."

The air crew spent most of their time sitting in the back - zero effort in service - not once did they make rounds with cups of water/juice. In between meals, I request for some snacks and they said they don't carry any snacks at all - onboard a 12-hour long flight. I asked to BUY some Malteser chocolate and pringles, and the air crew exclaim "ohhhh but it's on the upper deck, I would have to climb up to get some." Here how about some bread rolls and butter. They offered me stale bread from the previous meal. I am their One World Partners SAPPHIRE Member. I shudder to think how they would treat their standard economy class passengers."

This experience that I experienced at the departing gate was unprecedented, worse than the worse charter flight from a third world country decades ago!!! Apparently Transavia has "Sky Serv" employees doing their departing gate work, and they are the worse I have encountered in my life. Rude, irresponsible, talking back to customers when they dared ask them a question, not caring about anything let alone the comfort of the customers, or advising them of status of departure. As a result, they allowed a line to form for boarding, with all the relevant shoving and pushing, including older people standing and being pushed in line, as the Shy Serv employee went behind the departure desk and THE TIME OF DEPARTURE HAD COME, so it was natural for all to stand up in line thinking they will board, while the ARRIVING PLANE HAD NOT EVEN ARRIVED. And when I realized that (also in line) I asked the Sky Serv employee who appeared as the supervisor, why are they not telling the people that so they can sit down, the answer was "we didn't tell them to stand up"!!! When I told them that I thought it was just considerate to do that, he was joined in defence by his colleagues saying "no-one told you or anybody else to stand up, you and they did". As if this was not enough, when finally the plane came, people debarked, and plane was made ready to board, we were asked to board, only to stop us on the middle of the the boarding bridge and stand there for 15 minutes with no one to tell us anything, until a member of the plane crew came out to advise us of the delay and allow us to proceed to the plane. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FLY TRANSAVIA, or any airline that has "Sky Serv" as it's ground handlers!!!!"

I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

We talked ied WhatsApp Facebook tweeter. All takes like one hour to get response. In the end flights can’t be rescheduled we had to book new flights ourselves and find hotel to stay. They won’t cover for hotel either. The flights refund is now funded to Kiwi which we also need to find time to argue with Kiwi to get back. DOnt know how long that may take. The overall experience has been terrible"
Contras: "Transavia should have more capacity to hold customers requests. The representative from Transavia at airport provide absolutely no help. Just told us to WhatsApp Transavia. If that’s the approach then more people should be there responding WhatsApp comments not like no response within one hour. Kiwi is of no help as well. If flights get canceled agents should provide us updates as well. When we contacted kiwi in the airport Kiwi even denied flight cancel."

No explanation from the airport or airline. We missed our hotel shuttle, missed our hotel checkin. Just terrible."
Prós: "Inexpensive fares are worth something. Where else can you fly half way across the EU for 150 euro? The crew was cheerful and helpful. Website, phone app and email reminders are great."
Contras: "You do pay alacarte for everything. And service suffers in the name of low price. Checked bags, drinks and food. Be prepared to walk or stand everywhere, baggage check-in at Orly is in the basement and the last areas 132. The gates are the last gates in the south terminal. And when you get to the gate boarding is done enmasss so you wait in line. But the fares are cheap."

The flight was scheduled for 10:20 and this information was still at the information board even at 11:00 while the information about the status including a new departure slot was definitely known to the airport as well all SmartWings officials by that time!!! Flight was ok but the landing was not. The first attempt was not successful so the plane took off again when almost touching the runway and the second attempt landing was pretty hard. Explanation given for the failed first attempt was most likely only a bad excuse (insufficient distance from previous landing plane). Later I found out the flight captain (Mr. Vojta) was also the instructor for new SmartWings pilots so presume a new pilot was learning to land which as a passenger I don't appreciate to be subjected to."

The last seats near at the end of te aircraft are 90 degrees straight!! more than 90...they actually lean forward a bit...I sat there! is hould know impossilbe! I'm sorry...i have to put this company to my black list..."

Did they not know that people had bought the ticket and waited in Prague? Where is their responsibility? 110 kc not account for it"

I was speaking with other passengers, almost everybody was reffering to the numerous delays by SmartWings ( for 40 min to 7 hours). No warning or information about this delay was given in advance. We were waiting in the gates for 1.30 hours, instead of sitting in the lounge."
