Prós: "the flight was late in leaving, and although the lateness was not the airline's fault, the scramble of repeated announcements of Boarding is delayed for 10 minutes...3 or 4 times...was not smooth or comfortable...or very professional."
Contras: "the sound system on cut out of and on repeatedly, and shifted program and then would interrupt what was playing again and again, except when it would block the program out. aside from that, it was all pretty ok."

Contras: "For the first time in decades (hundreds of flights), I've had to find the paper bag and until the very end I thought I might end up needing it. My companion did use hers, and mine (also a first in many decades). Part of the bumpiness could have been due to a weather system but the plane's movement was jerky when taxiing in Boston. BOS-MUC used to be one of my favorite routes back when it was served by the A360. The new A350 is nothing special except for the entertainment system. Ironically the large screen seemed overwhelming due to the dismal distance to the seat in front."

Contras: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Prós: "I ordered gluten free meals on both of my longer flights and the crew seemed to have difficulty distributing them to the appropriate seats. My flight from Boston-Munich was fine but on my return trip from Frankfurt-Boston, I didn't receive a gluten free meal and the passenger behind me was given my gluten free snack."

We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."

She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

Prós: "I really appreciated the fact that the gate agents enforced the boarding process meticulously. Often times, even when boarding a certain zone, passengers ignore it and board anyway. The staff made sure that people only boarded when their zone was called. The flight and the aircraft was comfortable. The food was better than what I've had on other airlines, if not at least equal."

When I followed the link it stated that the app was not available for my location (at the time Sao Miguel). When I tried to use the SATA onboard app I’d previously downloaded it wouldn’t work. I don’t mind not having entertainment provided by the airline as I have access to downloads from a streaming service but it is frustrating to be told a service is available and then have it not work. Mobile boarding passes would be convenient."

Who offers basically microwaved fish on a flight, everyone knows you shouldn’t reheat fish. There was also no entertainment on a 6 1/2 hour flight and the WiFi would not connect."

Contras: "Seats were chosen weeks ago and we recieved a text the night before flight that our seats were changed . They put our 2 year old by himself in tow 38 and the rest of us in tow 5&8 and told us we had to figure it out and ask passengers to switch . Hey made no effort to accommodate"

Why we didn’t just stay at our gate till it was ready? Idk but everyone seem to not know what they were doing and very unorganized"

Contras: "They lost our luggages twice (from Boston to Terceira so we didn't have anything for 3 days at Flores, and on the way from Boston to DC they lost again) would you please tell about this crammy job they are doing to President of American Air Line Paulo Menezes. They ruined our vacation, this moment I still didn't get my luggage yet. thanks Masako"

No entertainment visible from our seats and the headphones didn't work. Flight from BOS was much of the same. NEVER FLYING SATA AGAIN!"

Contras: "We arrived at Logan airport to find a mass of people waiting to check in for the flight. Turns out, Azores Airlines flights had been being cancelled all week and many people had been stranded in Boston (and likewise in the Azores) for days. The local news was even filming a story about the mess while we were there. The monitors above the check in desks did not have any information and there didn't really appear to be a line. No employees were around to explain what was going on. Eventually an announcement was made that our flight was cancelled and to come back the next day. Still no info on the monitors at the airline desks or on the main airport arrivals and departures board, which continued to show the flight as on time the duration of our time at the airport. I had the app on my phone which also showed the flight as being on time. After the cancellation announcement people stayed in line to get hotel vouchers, but since my husband and I live in Boston we weren't sure if there was another part of the process to get new tickets issued or something. After waiting a long time in which the line never moved I was eventually able to check in with an employee who said we didn't need to do anything, just come back tomorrow. When we got home we were able to catch the news broadcast mentioned earlier in which passengers from the earlier flights were explaining how they kept being told to come back to the airport day after day and nothing happened, so I wasn't reassured! The next day we arrived at Logan and things started out smoothly. We were able to check in and get through security. The flight got delayed a few times after that. Boarding was a mess. People started lining up. While we waited, we noticed people at the gate desk in line. It turned out to be people getting reimbursed for their taxis. There was no announcement made and I think this delayed things further since they didn't start this until boarding was starting despite having had hours to do this prior! After people were already lined up to board it was announced that they would board by "sequence number" on the ticket so we stepped out of line only to have them not check numbers at all. In the end we took off about 26 hours after we were supposed to. The flight itself was a sort of charter flight, the airline basically rented a plane and crew to get us over to the Azores. However, we did take the Azores Airline flight back so I know the food would have been mediocre and there wouldn't be in seat entertainment. I would love to return to the Azores but I'm not sure I would unless Azores Airlines steps up their game! Definitely get trip interruption insurance! We were thankfully able to get reimbursed for accommodations and rental car missed days."

Contras: "Because we didn't get the required boarding passes in Barcelona (and didn't know we needed them) when we got to the Azores we had to run around through additional passport control, to the ticket desk because the gate agent had no means of issuing a boarding pass, back through security, through more passport control. Stupid. The plane itself was really uncomfortable, and being stuck in the tiny seats surrounded by screaming children, with no wifi or in-flight entertainment was torture."

Contras: "Service. Food. And the return was worse - they cancelled two consecutive flights with no notice, causing us to stay three extra days, incur connection fees, other costs, and they could care less. Wound up flying to Lisbon on Ryanair. SATA says no refund. Worst airline in the world. We would never go back to Azores, thanks to them."

But it's the only airline that flies to the Azores from the U.S., I believe, so this is the only option. They also very slow, and we left late to and from the Azores."

Prós: "Happy for the incoming Barcelona passengers to make this flight. Ticket agent told us how to snag a couple of free seats, once everyone on board, so we could stretch out for 5 hr. flight. They serve brewed tea!"

Contras: "No entertainment, some crew members wee rude and messy (spilling food/drink and unapologetic) where others were exceptional. Limited places to sit in between flights at gate (had to depart plane and reload even though we had same exact plane/seats)"

Prós: "Our flight left on time and arrived 45 minutes early. The crew was good and the meal served was okay. I think BOS (and Providence in the summer) are the only non-stop flights to the Azores, so that is convenience. Flight cost was fine."
Contras: "Seats are crammed in to the max. Fine if you have extraordinarily short legs. No entertainment. Main cabin screen was off the entire flight."

Prós: "On time flight , friendly service overall all great"

Prós: "Earlier TAP flight was late and caused me to miss my connecting flights. I will try hard never to fly with TAP again."
Contras: "Flight was cancelled because TAP flight was 2 hours late in picking me up."
