Prós: "Getting put in a German Airport jail and being yelled at by men with sub machine guns for being a US Citizen and nothing more."
Contras: "United Airlines knew the border was closed and told me since I was only transferring, I’d be fine. It wasn’t fine and I was detained and sent back. Inexcusable"

Prós: "Entertainment monitors were in good shape and responsive. Selection was not bad."

Prós: "Great airline! Would love to fly with them again! :) Polite and friendly staff which is a standard that has slipped with many airlines in recent years! Good tasting wine for airline wine. Frankfurt airport need a shuttle of service for transferring passengers. Keep it up Lufthansa :)"

She was the mother of s flight attendant as well, and was constantly brought amenities from the first class cabin. Really not appropriate for the rest of us in premium economy"

Contras: "Lufthansa has a horrible website. I wanted to check in online but I had to no reservation or ticket number is provided so I had to go to my old reservations to find it. .Next I wanted to pay for my luggage online but there was no link given. It says you can do it cheaper on Lufthansa.com but I could not find where you can actually do that. All in all spend 30 minutes with no result. Had to pay at check in $44 instead of $27. And it was just one of many other problems and inconveniences with their website."

Contras: "LH flight from Seattle was late, and I barely made it to the LH connecting flight to TA. Landed in Tel Aviv, but my one bag didn't arrive with me. Looked for the Lufthansa desk, but there is no such thing. They have farmed out the task of dealing with lost luggage and masses of confused to irate people to another firm. There were approx 40 people trying to get some information from 4 ladies, one of whom was new. They were unable to deal with many reports at a time. How about take a number and we'll call you up in turn? Instead it was like a push and shove pressure cooker just to find out the status of said missing bag and make a report. I was dealt with last. At this time, I was exhausted and angry. The ladies were very good and very kind. They informed my ride of the delay, and told me that the lost bag would come on the next flight. They took me out of the area to get a drink and a bite to eat. We waited. It came. We drove to my destination a few hours away. Never have I had to deal with such a time consuming shambles to find out the bare minimum of information. I finished the trip and will never fly with Lufthansa again."

Contras: "Poor food (pasta with no veggies, and then mini "pizzas" -- lots of carbs and almost no vegetables!) and beer selections (only option was one pilsner... on Germany's flagship airline!). However, the staff were generous about bringing regular water, wine, and juice around throughout the flight."

Contras: "They switched me to a different flight saying I won't make my connection due to high traffic at the BUD airport and they never told me that instead of arriving to JFK, they are flying to Newark airport. Having not known this at all, I had no ride home, super inconvenienced and I was 2 hours plus away from my home in Jersey. Horrible experience"

Contras: "Seat pitch could've been more. At least let us know via Whatsapp that the plane is delayed, or at which belt the bags would come out. This basic info was lacking."

Contras: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Prós: "Professional, welcoming and very friendly crew, well-maintained aircraft, comfortable seat and good food. Keep up the good work, KLM."
Contras: "Not much to comment on here."

Contras: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."

Prós: "The very dirty plane was cleaned at Dar-es-salaam and became less dirty. The pilot kept us updated periodically through the flight. The flight attendants were very pleasant."
Contras: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Contras: "Not only was there free food but they tried to sell you a bunch of stuff. Not a moments piece."

Contras: "Got asked to leave my seat in row 3 for one further back because I couldnt pull up my ticket mid flight to show it was my seat. Their system had me in another row so I missed out on the extra service offered to that row."

Contras: "the staff constantly refused to help when they could and provided wrong information that caused me to miss my flight. i will never book through kayak because of this experience."

Contras: "Our suitcase was damaged. Because we did not notice this until we got to our apartment we found that it is not possible to make acclaim, rather you just have to make a general complaint with a response according to SAS likely in 3 weeks. This process took over an hour of my time. The three tel numbers given to report damage are in Scandinavia and not much use when travelling within the UK."

Contras: "Check-in was a disaster. Took almost one hour for a trainee to check us in. Printed 8 bag tickets (for 2 bags) and after we complained was told there was no line at immigration, so should be okay. Guess having a 3 year old wasn’t enough for us to get any compassion or expedited service. At gate. No early boarding for children."

Contras: "Not sure why they only have like 20 movies, most of which are not good. Delta has hundreds of movies to choose from. Old and new. When entertainment is included in the high price of these long haul trips, it helps to have a semi-decent selection."

Contras: "Boarding was shambolic and the 737 is not as nice as the new A320 in terms of comfort or amenity. Boarding was all over the place - and the gate agents clearly need extra people around for a full flight. One person for 170 ppl didn't feel right."

Contras: "Business seats the worst I have ever tried, it was like laying in a coffin. Food average considering it was in business class.iFE glitchy and a small selection of movies."

Contras: "since all tickets and passports are checked in advance and do not need to be scanned again when boarding, they really should start boarding from the back of the aircraft (after all the business, first-class, and priority folks) because it would really speed things up the main meal was good, but the snack was much smaller compared to my flight from Chicago to Stockholm"

Contras: "At self check-in, we received a message that we had been placed on standby and that our seats were no longer guaranteed (for the SECOND time this trip with no explanation despite our having purchased our tickets quite some time ago). We were directed to the gate for questions. No one manned the gate until right before boarding. We spent the entire time in a panic trying to figure out how else we could get to our destination in time for a wedding. When we finally talked to someone at the counter, he said this was just normal procedure to be able to shuffle seats. This is not normal. I have flown with many airlines, and I cannot imagine it is ever "normal" policy to tell people they have been downgraded to standby until just before the flight. So much anxiety. Also, the flight was delayed, and the crew had no communication about gates or any other information (within their OWN AIRLINE) for those with connecting flights."

Contras: "I paid for internet but it never worked"

Contras: "Crew was rude. The bathrooms became disgusting halfway thru the foight w no toilet paper. For 6 hours we were down to one bathroom in coach. Unacceptable. My daughter never got her final meal and the flight attendant was rude when I asked her about it and never returned w food. Never fly SAS"

Contras: "Out of all the staff on board they did not give me and a few others those blue customs form, so we made a huge line and when we got to the agent he told us we had to go all the way around fill one out and then come back. The attendants new that those were necessary why so many yet not one made sure we got them lousy service. I wish we got a crew that wasnt so insecure and cared more about providing a good service instead of caring so much over their appearance. I rather have good efficient staff what they look like doesnt matter to me."

Contras: "Zero leg room, no overhead compartment space. Pinned to the wall in my window seat by an over weight Swedish man sitting beside me. Horrible flight !!!"

Prós: "The plane was full and coming out of a very busy airport but the crew managed to make a good and stress-free atmosphere"

Contras: "A very dishonest experience. The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Contras: "SAS has one of the worst boarding procedures and not enforcing it. Flight was delayed an I almost lost my connection in CPH. and it has the narrowest legroom of all Star alliance flights. my flight from stockholm was delayed and there was a massive queue at border control and no SAS or CPH airport staff to organise to get PAX through faster so they dont miss their connection I had to fight my way through the queue otherwise I would have lost my connection"

Contras: "SAS does not even offer wine with the meal, you have to pay for it. Additionally they have the strange policy that they give drinks at frost, that is ALL drinks, including the meal drinks, and then comes the meal about half an hour later. The do not offer ANY drinks with the meal."

Prós: "One of the best we've experienced--very comfortable very spacious seats , The crew is very attentive and accommodating. We were fed three times and was offered beverages frequently."

Even you (kayak) didn’t know bc you still think I took the flight that I booked on your site! I was forced to rebook with another airline and will be expecting a refund and then some and possibly dispute the charge all together."

Contras: "There was only one person checking people in, which was not enough to move things along. There was also confusion over whether bags had to be checked or not, with one person giving us tags but then no one looking at the tags prior to boarding. The whole check in process seemed poorly organized."

Contras: "Switched plane from Brussels to United which saves us 3hrs but then they lost our luggage. This was after we asked them to double-check. They told us that our luggage had been logged-in to our new flight. We are very disappointed in Brussel airline and will not use them again."

Contras: "I was due to fly from London to Entebbe via Brussels. Sixteen hours after boarding the flight, I am still in Brussels. We try to complete the assignment another day. My criticism was the overoptimism of the captain how quickly things would happen and on arrival in Brussels the total unpreparedness of the ground staff to cope with half a plane load of people with connections having missed those connections."

Prós: "While the flight left late, the service on board was good as was the comfort provided. Staff friendly. I actually was pleasantly surprised overall given a long past experience on the old SABENA."
Contras: "None, overall a decent transatlantic flight without any problems."

Contras: "Paid extra to secure aisle seat booking, reconfirmed byne two days before flight, at check-in was reassigned to a middle seat, without explanatiob or apology. Had to be uncomfortably adamant about paid aisle seat reservation for them to put me in one of the several still available."

Prós: "They gave us a pillow and blanket so we could sleep. They offered a good selection of movies and other entertainment. The airline staff was friendly and helpful."
Contras: "Seating was cramped but all airlines treat their three class clients like cattle."

Prós: "NOTHING"
Contras: "We had to wait 1 hour inside the airplane because there was fog in Lisbon. Flight took 2.5 hours and the Fog cleared long before we landed so there was no need to wait 1 hour in the airplane where we had NO leg space at all. As compensation they could at leased given us coffee for free and not have to buy for a bloody expensive high price."

Prós: "The crew was outstanding. All amenities were available."
Contras: "I can't think of anything."

Contras: "Boarding at Brussels airport had to go through a gate, a bus, then out across the airport to the tarmac. Not really a problem, but should be aware if travelling this way. Warning to travellers using this short flight: food/drink only available with payment."

Prós: "The seats had more leg room that similar sized planes on other airlines."
Contras: "It is ridiculous that an airline does not include soft drinks and water free while on the plane. The flight was also delayed with no clarifying information from airline employees. The information board said boarding for 20 minutes before they unlocked the doors and started boarding."

Prós: "Once on the aircraft, the flight was quite nice. The drinks and food were very good. The flight attendants were very helpful. Having blankets was very nice, since it was very cold in some sections near the toilets. I was selected for supplementary search but the attendants were very efficient and courteous."
Contras: "No one explained why one needed to go through the Brussels Airlines pre-check gate (at gate #40) and have our passports reviewed again and a sticker added. It was a mess. At the gate, it wasn't clear where the boarding lines were compared to the lines to see a desk clerk and no one was around to explain what was going on. We didn't know if there was another check going on or it was a boarding line."

Prós: "Nice plane, great entertainment unit. USB charging is nice. Food service was surprisingly good and the staff was very pleasant and helpful on the flight."
Contras: "Boarding from a connecting flight is a disaster. For some reason brussel's air didn't validate our passports at the first international flight. Everyone was expected to do it at the Brussels airport. This would be fine if they had a sign up explaining what to do, or even a basic queue set up. There were passengers for 3 flights mobbed around the check point in front of our gate with nothing resembling a line. Everyone was completely confused and crawling over each other. Add that to our delayed landing that put us on the tarmac, forcing us back through security and a huge walk away from the gate... We very nearly missed our flight! Please please please figure out a way to communicate to your passengers and get people into a proper queue!!!"

Prós: "Nothing. Wanted it to be over already"
Contras: "Thw flight attendents gave a really bad service. They forgot to bring me food. The plain was really small and crowded... There was a lot of noise."

Contras: "stuck between 2 overweight people with no possibility of moving because flight was fully booked."
