Love it here, been going for years! Great shuttle to games.
as well as the reasonably priced hotel "store" convenience items
The hotel was nice and the staff were super friendly. It was clean and convenient to the bus and has a courtesy shuttle. Certain rooms, and the lounge and breakfast area have good views of Lake Union. There was also a parking garage, pool, hot tub, business facilities, and fitness area. It worked well for what we were looking for and seemed popular with various business people who were staying there. The bed was super uncomfortable and the room was hot even with the controls on the heating and cooling unit set to cool everything down. This led to both of us tossing and turning and barely sleeping all night. Also we could hear all the doors in our hallway opening and closing. So if sleeping with a certain level of comfort is super important to you and noise wakes you easily, you might want to choose another hotel.
good location, nice breakfast, room was clean and comfortable The 3:00pm check-in time
clean, good breakfast buffet close to downtown nothing
We are elderly and received special attention. Very accomadating staff. Specially enjoyed your good breakfast, and it's variety. Our room was nice. We especially liked the separation of toilet and shower from the sink with its large counter top. When in Seattle we will stay there again. Bath tub with shower. Why not have a walk in shower. So convenient and fewer accidents, I'm sure.
Staff were great, very accomodating, great breakfast. Conveniently located. Great price. Noise outside the window, some construction was going on.
the tub the brakfast was good quite and no smoking they dont leave plastic bag on the trash, they always give us the corner room the second time afound the major one is thebed is very shitty we dont sleep good at all ehich we are looking for
Everything worked well. The staff was helpful and nice. Easy to drive in, park, and leave. Free Parking! Nice breakfast area. It has a classic hotel/motel feel, which is ok, but I wanting a more modern feel.
Light rail to center, beautifully on the lake Union. Good breakfast. Fairly expansive. Large rooms, may accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. Parking.
Complimentary breakfast was wonderful, make own waffles, hot eggs sausages, ceareals, coffees, juices, buffet style. Cleaning staff was quiet and polite, did great job. Front desk very responsive and extra polite. Fixed our stove top where knob was broken off in one day. Heat settings were comfortable. Well equipped gym with modern machines and very clesn. Beautiful architecture. Excellent handicap accessibility. Lovely waterfall in lobby. Televisions everywhere and large business center. Good free wifi. Nice little store for neccessities, snacks around the clock. Safe feeling neighborhood. Near a park by marina, close to museums. Good transport to are attractions. Easy check-in and departure without hassles. Beds were best comfort of any hotel visited. Great concierge services. The pool was too chlorinated, not heated. Spa hot tub not open at all. Far too many dogs everywhere, although none were barky. Rooms are suoer ckeaned before you arrive if you request it, but ours got switched when we artived, so no clue if that was done on our room. Allergens are found in the air and I had symptoms the entire time. Woukd not return. To their credit, the dog owners kept the dog on leashes. No fights ensued. No foul animal odors in common spaces. Great location for families who love their pets. Just not for me.
Everything works, front desk always cheerful and says hello, jacuzzi, laundry room always clean, grocery shopping service, trolley line in front, can walk to many restaurants, etc.etc.etc Great beds.. House keeping staff came at various times, hard to calculate out day.. Several times had to call to have room cleaned. Often forgot dish towels, or hand towels...nothing serious!
The view was amazing. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great free breakfast No restaurant on site and bar was just beer and wine
Nice modern decor in lobby area. Hallways to rooms have been updated, nice new decor, carpet. Beautiful Internet!! Close to Streetcar that drops right into downtown Seattle shopping district / Westlake Mall and Pacific Place Shopping Centers. Our room had a nice (partial) view of Lake Union which is lovely on a sunny day! More than dismal when it's rainy tho... Comfortable pillows/bed Pool and a hot tub - complete with towels! Bike rentals station near the boat area to rent bikes and go for a spin around Lake Union or through downtown. Walking / Biking / Streetcar distance to Seattle Center Friendly staff Further from Seattle Center/ downtown waterfront / Pike Street Market than I had realized. Any savings received on the room were quickly eaten up by additional hotel fees, cab fares and public transportation costs. Lots of construction / road construction in this area, difficult confusing to get to the hotel - looks like a bunch of incomplete construction / work zones around side of hotel. No shuttle options from / to airport or train to this location. Workout facility = cardio and dumbells only. no weight machines Room Keys quite inconveniently deactivated themselves for no apparent reason. Difficult getting cab from this hotel to any other locations in city - front desk called told me "several cabs already in the area and less than 10 minute wait". None stopped!!! Empty cabs drove by... still no. Waited OVER 1/2 hour, eventually one came that was dropping guests off at the hotel but I had to flag him before he drove off, he wasn't going to pick us up either! Clearly this hotel is not a priority for the cab companies & getting to my destination timely clearly not a concern for the staff. Asked specifically for another plastic liner for the ice bucket (needed to put ice in it to ice an injury) I explained this but Instead I received a plastic bag he thought was better for that purpose - one which was for the laundry service and had holes in the bottom of it! Yay a leaking ice pack and wet pajamas! Tap water tastes like chlorine pool water. $3.50 for the bottled water in the room & kids don't read the fine print! Sit down Bistro Food options or convenience store pantry options only, main restaurant advertised yet closed or unavailable. Bistro is EXPENSIVE ($4.00 for a small pastry) NO other breakfast options nearby $6.00 dry ham sandwich, no condiments avail. desk agent went to check Bistro kitchen but then refused to give me mustard or mayo - told me none avail. ?!? Overall, for $200.00+ per night, I shouldn't have to spend so much of my time communicating with the staff here - guest needs should have been anticipated (not having to ask for a cab multiple times, being able to turn the TV on and have it work properly without having to try to figure it out then making a phone call, having the room keys work when you leave and want to re-enter your room! having mustard / mayo condiments available when people buy the sandwiches from your pantry, having lids for the Starbucks cups / vending machine coffee, etc...) Not unpleasant per se - just for that price, I shouldn't be required to participate in training your hotel staff on "how to do their jobs properly" - Suggestion: a prix fixe "buffet" style breakfast / self serve waffle iron/ toaster/ in addition to for people short on time but still want to eat and no time for restaurant service. This option is a huge plus and deciding factor in determining whether a hotel receives my future loyalty... even if it's not free or include with the room!!
Fairly close to bus stops that will take you to UW or downtown. Rooms are well kept and decent size. Parking is $30 a night. A public lot just around Lake Union on Fairview is $22 for 48 hours. The hotel menu is obviously overpriced, but World Sports Grille on Westlake and 9th has decent food for takeout.
I liked everything about the facilities and staff. Helpful and nice. The location could have more nearby restaurants. But that's very minor.
The staff was excellent in my opinion. Very helpful. Very friendly. I stayed four nights. My room was clean and spacious for just me. The location of the hotel is across the street from Lake Union Park and all of its amenities (including a few nice restaurants), close to the trolley, and within walking distance of downtown shops. The restaurant staff was also very nice. I ordered a breakfast to go the day I left for the airport, and the young lady working behind the restaurant counter brought my boxed breakfast to me as I waited at the front desk. Very nice. Nothing was that bad. I missed a dry cleaning pick-up one morning, but I think that was my fault. No complimentary bottled water in the room. While the staff was great, they could've been a bit more knowledgeable of the surrounding neighborhood. I find everyone today seems to rely on quick Internet searches (which I can perform) as opposed to actually knowing the neighborhood. In general, though, every staff person with whom I dealt smiled, was courteous, and was helpful.
$27/day parking charge was ludicrous.
I liked the view, the customer service in the front desk. Easy to get around for the location of the hotel with near by stores. Hotel was very clean. Unaware of the 27 dollar parking fee. Would appreciate if they told us ahead of time about the fee, which wasn't a problem, but wasn't expecting the surprise because it wasn't stated when I booked my reservation online.
Location was across the street from beautiful Lake Union Park. About 1.5 mile one-way walk to Seattle Center. About 1.5 mile one-way walk in other directon from Chipotle and a Whole Foods. Cost
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was too expensive.
A localização é ótima.
Nothing Poor bed. Noisy. TV reception was sporadic at best.strange smell in room. Light in room did not work... electrical cord was cut. Pretty scary overall.
The only good thing about this hotel was the front desk clerk. She should find a job at a better hotel asap. The place was a total dump!!! Toilet seat was falling off.I Had to screw the bolts back in myself to be able to use it. Tv remote was broken. The fridge still had the prior quests old food in it & it was very dirty.I Stayed 2 nights & paid full price for both nights but they didn't change the sheets on the bed, they just remade the bed. The hot water knob on the tub was broken & hardly any hot water came out. The clock was set for the wrong time so I missed the breakfast in the lobby. I have stayed in a lot of hotels & this place has the worst I have ever seen. I would have left but couldn't find another place in the area with such short notice.
The only reason to stay here is because it's a third of the price of anything around it. There is, however a $10 fee for parking that is not reflected in the price. Oh, and it is close to the space needle. I guess that's two reasons. Old. Outdated. Countless cigarette burns in carpet. Construction all around. Bad smell. Hidden parking fees. Uncomfortable beds. Yard sale type furniture. Paint chipping off walls. This list just goes on and on...
great location close to the space needle, nice bathroom close to a big road. Very old rooms
It was cheap and easy access to Seattle's downtown. Breakfast was not adequate and ended too early.
It was in a very convenient location. The hotel wasn't horrible, but the beds were really hard and uncomfortable and they use the word "continental breakfast" loosely. They only had a few muffins, bagels and apples. No cereal, milk, oatmeal.
Nothing!! I would love a refund!!! Dirty, too expensive, terrible customer service, terrible location, couldn't even use swimming pool.
The place is barely habitable. Unclean and dirty.
The hotel was quiet and in a great location by the Space Needle. Not luxurious but comfortable enough.
The hotel has potential but their was a lot of work that needed to be done. The continental breakfast was a joke!
Great location and clean Advertised newly furnished but furniture was obviously older and some pieces very battered..Also advertised a hot breakfast but only coffee, OJ, mini bagels and mini muffins provided. No fruit or even cereal or toast. The outlets in the room were so over loaded that you had to unplug the frig to watch TV. Bathroom fan was so loud it sounded like a helicopter. Knobs on the heater were stripped so they just spun when you tried to adjust the heat. The elevator was out of service. They were asking that the plastic knives not be thrown away and no liners provided for the ice buckets which made me question if they were sanitary or not. I decided it wasn't worth the risk and didn't risk using either...
Well, the sheets seemed to be clean, the fridge and microwave were clean and worked well, and the television was decent. The room was dingy, there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower caused by water damage that had been poorly patched with a piece of cardboard, there was a door to an adjoining room that was painted shut but had a hole in it you could see through to the storage area it was being used as, the tub and shower were extremely dingy, the staff was dismissive and, as stated in the review title, surly. The price of the room, while lower than others in the same area, was higher than warranted for the extremely low quality. Additionally, the "breakfast" they serve is mini muffins and tiny bagels so don't think you're getting anything worthwhile, and when they run out of coffee 20 minutes after breakfast starts they don't seem to bother making more. We even told them there was no more coffee left (this was during the posted breakfast hours) and the front desk agent smiled, nodded and said that we should let him know if there was anything we needed. Uh...yeah...coffee. Luckily there was a coffee pot in the room so we had crappy coffee in our room as our consolation prize.
