Loved everything about staying at the Four Seasons Boston. The service was impeccable and they really made us feel "at home." My kids especially loved the welcome wagon and cookies and milk :) The hotel was clean, warm and inviting and I would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommend!
Rooms are classic ritz-carlton comfort and luxury. They forgot to make a dinner reservation I requested at booking and never did anything about it.
they did not have taxis waiting outside and couldnot call one. They had to whistle for one passing by. As they are on a side street not that many pass buy. Also the area is not as nice as others in the city
The hotel was beautiful and staff was very professional and courteous and willing to help.
Location Thought it was too expensive.
the health club is fantastic a reason to come back, the eating / bar facilities are ok it does not feel very cozy
Beds, personal treatment of the staff No
Very good breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly service.
dining room,breakfast,3rd bett auch im relativ kleinen zimmer gut managable, leseraum, terrasse im 3.stock,service sehr freubdlich, schnell, kompetent bar ist zu klein
Staff exceptionally professional and helpful. Wireless didnt work well.
We totally enjoyed a dinner and the breakfasts daily. The room was quaint and very clean. We also enjoyed the street view and being so close to where our son and daughter-in- law live. It was nice to be able to walk to everything. We did not like having to go into the second building and up stairs to get to our room. It would have been nice to have coffee available in the room. Given the fact there was not valet parking availabe, we thought the price was a little high.
Fantastic food, cheerful service (including coffee brought to my room at 7am), and perfect Boston location. No lobby.
The location. Small room. We requested a room for 3 people, however the extra bed put in the room meant we could not open the wardrobe. No fridge, no coffee making facilities. Very poor water pressure in basin, plug broken. If they didn't have a room to accommodate 3 people, they should have told us when we booked. Very expensive for what we received. Best thing was location.
It was a small European type hotel with classy, touches and no extra fluff. It's not for everyone, but perfect for those who seek the quaint and unique. It is more like staying in a guest house than a hotel. I wish they had a place for guests to grab coffee without having to join the dining room or go down the street to Starbucks.
Good location, lively atmosphere. Generally a good feel / fun to be there. Night Porter was very helpful and pleasant with our early morning departure / obtaining taxis. Room a bit on the small side - although not untypical of a European city centre hotel. Bathroom was disappointing - useless shower. Items reported as not working properly to reception were not dealt with at all during our stay.
The location was excellent!! The noise from the street made it very difficult to sleep.
We loved the old-fashioned charm of this small hotel in the Beacon Hill area, with the trees in front of the windows and the access to a small terrace overlooking Charles Street maybe the most romantic place in Boston (at least during Indian summer). The room was not overly big but nicely decorated. Breakfast in the Bistro - among the best French restaurants in Boston with an impressive list of European wines - was a real treat. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
