I have stayed at hotels all over the world butt he Imperial was fantastic. I have never seen such a polite and professional staff. Everything from the moment I got out of the taxi to the moment I boarded the Narita bus was handled with the utmost proficiency and friendliness. Although there are hotels that are more modern and flashier, nothing beats the Imperial. Great location as well.
This hotel was AWESOME! The service we received can't be spoken about enough. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay in Tokyo was problem free. The location is in a prime spot and our room had a great view. Highly recommended!
not only was the imperial hotel a quietly luxurious place to stay with wonderful service, staying there felt like being part of history. i believe that the original hotel was designed by frank lloyd wright and though the original is no longer standing, pieces from the destroyed hotel have been incorporated into the current lobby. it seems that an effort has been made to retain the frank lloyd wright feeling in the remake of the building. overall, a very nice experience.
Great Hotel and great localization. The room was perfect.
Positioned near the business district, but the general area - including the Imperial Palace - are very nice. Well equipped and very modern rooms. The bathroom was enormous with entertaining shower equipment! Public areas are huge and drab in places. But we would certainly return to the Imperial.
Internamente: a oferta gastronômica e comercial.
Excellent and luxurious hotel! Super competent and friendly staff. We loved our stay!
The Palace Hotel was top rate. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was spectacular! Good location away from the city noise and beautiful details at every turn. Very expensive dining but superb food. Definitely a 5-6 star hotel.
Rooms. Service. Price is relatively high
The Palace Hotel is just that... a contemporary palace complete with impeccable finishes, art, and service. The staff could not do enough for us from carrying bags, to creating itineraries, to attending to our every need with prompt attention and happy disposition. So kind and generous and anxious to please. Food and drinks were first rate and the concierge club level lounge put it over the top with intimate lounge overlooking the city, outside lounge area with couches and city views, and beautiful and kind service managers who served food and drinks and made arrangements for us all with a warm smile. The rooms are clean contemporary yet warm and impeccable with every convenience at the touch of a button. There is art throughout the rooms and hotel that make you stop and take notice at every turn. If you are lucky enough to get a corner room as we were we enjoyed city views and over looked the Emperial Palace Gardens. The view from the bathroom and tub were breathtaking. The hotel is connected by a beautifully finished underground tunnel with shoppes and restaurants to the nearest train station. This is clearly one of the finest hotels in the world. even if you are not staying here it's worth the time to see. I travelled with my 25 year old son and although he enjoyed experiencing the best of the best, the location is a bit removed from the more active and younger areas to the west such as Shibuya, Roppongie, Harijuko and Shinjuku! if you're hanging in the high rent district you can't beat it, although I must say Harijuko has great shopping along pedestrian friendly streets! Am must see.
This was a top notch hotel. The rooms were large and very comfortable by Tokyo standards. The staff was very good at what they do and speak great English. The location of this hotel was wonderful from my point of view. While it was for sure in a business area it was a 5 min walk #40or less#41 to Tokyo station which makes it great. The Shinkansen and the Narita stop in Tokyo station which makes for a quick trip to the hotel. If you want they will great you at your train and walk you back. The restaurant was typical of most high end hotels with good food well done but not a value in any way. In the end there are tons of nice inexpensive places within 10 min walk that cater to the worker in the area if you are looking for a little less costly fair. While they can set up tours and the like for you my single experience with that a tour of the fish market left a lot to desired. It way have just been a bad day or a bad guide so I have no idea it others will have better luck. My ro...
Convenient location, subway connection to city areas, good service and comfortable beds. Language gap with some reception staff.
The location is very good, subway station is just in front of the hotel, krispy Kreme just opposit I booked non smoking room , but they provided me a smoking room, whi
Free upgrade to a larger room (we checked in fairly late). Late check out. Unfortunately, they only had smoking rooms.
1. The metro subway is very convenient. 2. The access of food nearby is plentiful. 3.7-11 downstairs is located at its best.
This is a really convenient location for travelers. It's directly across the street from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, lots of Japanese and non-Japanese food options and some historic sites. If you can managed to get a room on the back side of the hotel, I would recommend it. My room was so quiet. It was perfect. The hotel staff were very nice. They were able to direct me to where I needed to go when I had to buy a few things for my trip. Getting there from Narita airport was easy. I just bought a ticket on the appropriate limousine bus for 3100 yen. Yes, that's slightly more expensive than the Keisei Skyliner, but it drops you off at the front door of this hotel. It's worth the extra 600 yen to not have to carry my luggage through the train stations from where the Keisei Line drops you off. And it's way cheaper than a cab. Breakfast downstairs is quite pricey (about 2800 yen or so). Of course, it's not like you have to eat at the hotel. It's literally 4 doors down from a Tully's coffeeshop where you can have a decent breakfast and coffee for less than 700 yen.
nespresso machine in the room and speeker for lap top no wifi in the room
Convenient location, opposite subway station, 7-11 downstair, many restaurants across the street, well- English spoken staffs, big twin beds, great bathroom facilities, esp. auto warming toilet seat. Bad wi-fi signal in rooms, uncomfortable duvet cover.
the staff are absolutly helpful, very accomodating. special thanks to Mr. Nagase and Mr. Kaneko at frontdesk, they both provide execllent professional and heartfelt service. perfect location for JR shinkensan if you want to explore the other provinces with JR East Pass. since tokyo station is a huge one, a bit lost to find the nearest exit to the hotel. not enough direction inside the tokyo station.
Location to shopping, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Imperial Palace, Narita Express, subways and peace and quiet due to the location of the hotel: 27-34th floors. Small rooms. Bedspread adornment had "funky stains". Breakfast was a little pricy for $30 for a buffet....but it was delish so I ate there for convenience.
Service and good location. Room is too small.
The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The cost of the meals at the hotel was high.
Great location at station, very clean and quiet.
The location directly across from Tokyo Station is super convenient, the rooms are clean and extremely well-appointed. Very friendly staff. I would definitely stay at the hotel again during my next visit to Tokyo.
