The location is very good, subway station is just in front of the hotel, krispy Kreme just opposit I booked non smoking room , but they provided me a smoking room, whi
Convenient location, subway connection to city areas, good service and comfortable beds. Language gap with some reception staff.
Free upgrade to a larger room (we checked in fairly late). Late check out. Unfortunately, they only had smoking rooms.
1. The metro subway is very convenient. 2. The access of food nearby is plentiful. 3.7-11 downstairs is located at its best.
Convenient location, opposite subway station, 7-11 downstair, many restaurants across the street, well- English spoken staffs, big twin beds, great bathroom facilities, esp. auto warming toilet seat. Bad wi-fi signal in rooms, uncomfortable duvet cover.
This is a really convenient location for travelers. It's directly across the street from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, lots of Japanese and non-Japanese food options and some historic sites. If you can managed to get a room on the back side of the hotel, I would recommend it. My room was so quiet. It was perfect. The hotel staff were very nice. They were able to direct me to where I needed to go when I had to buy a few things for my trip. Getting there from Narita airport was easy. I just bought a ticket on the appropriate limousine bus for 3100 yen. Yes, that's slightly more expensive than the Keisei Skyliner, but it drops you off at the front door of this hotel. It's worth the extra 600 yen to not have to carry my luggage through the train stations from where the Keisei Line drops you off. And it's way cheaper than a cab. Breakfast downstairs is quite pricey (about 2800 yen or so). Of course, it's not like you have to eat at the hotel. It's literally 4 doors down from a Tully's coffeeshop where you can have a decent breakfast and coffee for less than 700 yen.
nespresso machine in the room and speeker for lap top no wifi in the room
Location was convenient for traveling to the rest of Tokyo. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, of which we tried several and had some delicious meals. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Akasaka Mitsuke subway station is about 3 blocks away, just a couple minutes walk. From that station it's a short ride to get to the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine and tons of other must see tourist locations in Tokyo. Beds were comfy and the room was nice, but remember rooms in Tokyo are on average going to be a bit smaller than you might expect from other places. My friend and I are big guys, both around 6' 1" and we were plenty comfy in the room. We were there mostly to sleep and shower, the fun was to be had out exploring Tokyo. There's laundry and vending machines on the third floor which was handy. Overall we were impressed with the Centurion Hotel Grand for the price and the location. If in Tokyo again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Microwave on the 6th floor worked and heated up the breakfast to eatable temperature. Staff can communicate in English. Room is extremely small Wifi doesn't work in the room except in the front door Breakfast is served cold, limited options Shower temperature is difficult to adjust -> always coming really hot water Some room facilities were missing just like iron and cooking items
Very modern and nice desig, well equipped toilet and super multifunctional shower... The hotel room was very small - we couldn't open fully the suitcase
Rooms are very well equiped. Not to big hotel. Hall is a typical japonese design No chocolate poweder to make a chocolate milk for breakfast
Excellent room Nice bathroom Clean Staff spoke decent English Lots of restaurants near the hotel. Uphill (horribly on one side, not so bad on the other), somewhat hard to find without phone/gps, and about a 13 minute walk from the subway station. Room isn't very big. Prepare to keep your things organized to maintain space. Not good with large bags. Minimal to do close to the hotel. No rose petals on the bed.
Excellent hotel for an overnight stay or a business trip. Within decent connection distance to Narita airport (need to take underground close by) and close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Vibrant area. Rooms are quite small for the price
Although we were late to check in (past 8:00pm) the staff recognized us immediately and we received prompt and courteous welcome and checkin. Room was better than expected - large enough for our needs and equipped as we requested. It was spotlessly clean. The room could use some closet space or more wall hooks to hang a few things up. The small rod provided on the wall with 3 hangers is not adequate. Oherwise it was perfect for our needs.
Clean room, convenient location No wireless connection available. Japanese style breakfast only, with very limited variety.
Pretty convenient location to akasaka metro station. Great rates for tokyo. The rooms are really small.
warmth of the hotel too hot in the rooms
The area of the hotel is very convenient. Easy access to the metro and walking distance to a very interesting area of Tokyo. Recommended for a first visit to the city, we will probably go the there again in the future!
This is a great hotel in a good location. Very near to the subway so access to all the main sights of Tokyo are easy to get to. Rooms are small but it didnt distract from the overall experience of the hotel. Could be a problem if you have large luggage. Free internet in the lobby too.
helpful staff, lovely clean room with all the comfort i could wish for, even the sophisticated Toto toilets and very fast free wifi the room was really tiny
the service quality , the fully equiped room with small attentions like free shaves ,toothbrushes and also a wardrobe , the modern look and the cleanlyness of the room , the wonderful kindness of the staff no complain - standart rooms are just a bit small according to european standarts
The location of the hotel in the quiet and pleasant area of Akasaka was very good. Excellent public transport links to other areas of the city were within easy walking distance. Having personal access to the internet in the hotel room was a real plus. The staff were helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel.
Was very clean, very good located and they offer a breakfast
The hotel is in a prime location. The cost is not bad for Tokyo. The internet is fast if you plug in your own laptop to the LAN line. Booking.com represented the room as a double when in fact it is a semi-double. Semi-double is a peculiar room type in Japan that is smaller in bed and room size to a real double. Note that with a semi-double my wife and I had to constantly rearrange our two bags in the room to move around. The supplied computer is really slow making it seem as if the internet connection is slow when in fact it is fast (see likes).
Cleanliness & upkeep was excellent. Most of the hotel staff not understanding English
Cleanliness Ckeck-in time 15..00 is not good. We arrived to Narita at 8.00 morning, left our luggage at the hotel and were walking tired. Why not to permit check-in at 12.00 (if it is possible) as many hotels in Europe do without extra chage?
excelent location, very central and closed of the conveniences : restaurants, bus for airport, tourist sites : imperial palace, temples...
Location near Akasaka metro station is literally two small blocks away, perfect for getting to Shibuya, Tokyo station and other interesting spots. The surrounding area is great too and the hotel is clean, well-appointed with everything you could need. Rooms are small, but they work well as with everywhere in Japan.
Good location, close to the subway. In an area with a bunch of restaurant and activities. Quite and calme.
It is very conveniently located 2 minutes from the Akasaka Mitsuke metro station. You can get to all areas of Tokyo by the extensive metro and train system. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The Excelsior Cafe connected by a door to the hotel is a nice cafe - very popular with locals. The hotel's green policy is great. You can choose not to have your room 'done' if you are staying 3 nights, but garbage is taken out every day. From Narita take the Express to Tokyo station. From there take the Marunouchi metro line to Akasaka Mitsuke - 4 stops. If you have not googled the hotel before hand, it might be difficult to find the hotel from the Akasaka Mitsuke station. Take the escalator up to the 'Sotoburi for Akasaka' exit. Go out the Akasaka exit (Belle Vie). In day time you can cross the street and take the passage way between two buildings to the next street. Turn left and the hotel is immediately on your right. Alternately from the exit, turn left to the crossroad. Turn right, and right again. The hotel is on your left hand side. Total walk is less than 40 m.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Location is great. Breakfast was only continental, nothing Japanese in the menu. You need to pay in advance, not when checking out. They haven't international TV channels nor WIFI.
