Friendly staff, size of room and view from room Inaccurate information on shuttle service for cross-border crossing to Hong Kong. Journey was long and expensive and uncomfortable. Definitely not recommended!
staff don´t speak english but I think that this hotel is one of the best in Shenzhen - be carfully that is china !
Pretty responsive staff, good. Locations plenty of restaurants nearby. Close to subway station. The hotel use cheapest possible toiletry. The tooth paste actually taste bitter. I took a shower upon arrival and the plug in the bath tub is not working resulting a pool of water accumulate in the tub. They quickly fix it. But it is annoying. One more thing that is worth mentioning, if you reserved a non-smoking room, good luck getting one with cigeratte smell. I have to change the room twice cause as it happens their customers has no regards to the non-smoking requirement. They smoke whenever wherever they want.
Location of this hotel is the best in ShenZhen.everything is arround, shopping, Sauna, Seefood street. everything 2-3 minutes by walk.I will sure visit this Hotel again. had two 0.3 cl cans of beer in hotel the loby, payed 220 RMB :( in 7Eleven shop 2X big 0.6 bottles same beer 21RMB :) so in hotel cost 20 times more!!!
size of room and location food choice at coffee house and hardly any view from window
very old hotel... Like oldsmobille... But with good breakfast
quite different and not just like every other hotel yes. would really like if some of your staff speak more english for easier communication cos their were some breakdown in communication especially when we wanted to order for food.
A very warm feeling Thank you none
Helpful Staff, Lovely and Clean with a Good Selection of food.
The loaction The hotel is a little dated and run down for a 5 star business hotel
The hotel located in a good place. The breakfact meals didnot meet the expectation of a luxury 5 star hotel meal.
Proximity to the convention center was nice Decent American food choices both in the hotel and right outside. Generally kind staff, even though few had a working level of english. I didn't expect everyone to speak amazing English, but I did expect that the check-in staff would know the words "Convention Center" considering they are a two blocks away and listed as a preferred hotel for one of the largest convention centers in the world. In fact most of the staff didn't know the words -- which is surprising to me. Our "non-smoking" room had a smell that I can't quite describe in words. Something like moldy bread with and cigarettes mixed with decaying animal. It was very unpleasant. The club staff was decent but operated on a 3.5 star level, not 5 star - like they Shangri-La chain should. They just did the minimum's with a bit of attitude and a feeling that your presence was not totally welcome.
The location is probably what makes this hotel 'special'.. besides that, nothing too crazy Rooms are very small. Too expensive for just a very normal hotel.Very old hotel
The location is very good, the view is wonderfull and the service excelent.
Staff is very helpful and attentive. Room was pretty standard/better for business travel in terms of cleanliness. They could make some imrovements in upkeep but otherwise was maintained well and cleaned well daily. Pool and gym are very good. Breakfast is very good. Didn't use the spa, but I wish I did because it looked nice. Not sure why I was recommended this location, I think for proximaty to the border & ease of transportation. However, the other Shangri-La in town seemed closer to better dining, shopping, and bars.
Good size of room and large bed No bath
Lovely decor, luxurious rooms, and fantastic service. Beautiful appointments and open ornate spaces. Although my room rate was quite reasonable (possibly due to corporate negotiations, all of the on site restaurants are ridiculously expensive. Dinner can easily cost an much for one person as the nightly room rate, and it would be impossible for two to eat dinner for less than the nightly rate.
Excellent service, new rooms, great amenities, fast service, no complains whatsoever. Try the grand rooms they are truly amazing. A bit far from the metro station, even-though there is a new one opening 50 meters away in the forceable future. (no the hotels fault though).
One of the best hotels I stayed in China.
Liked the pricing Service was not great, facilities kind of old and need to be renovated. Anyways, you get what you pay for. The pricing is pretty low for a JW Marriott brand. Perhaps this one was a franchise?
The modern furnishing and the attentive staff. The concierge service was extremely helpful and made sure that you get what you asked for ! I was attending a conference held at the Shenzhen Conference Center. The hotel was not anywhere walking distance to the Center-a statement that was included in the conference information. Anyway, the taxi was not too expensive.
the whole experience was very nice. I enjoide little things they do to make you feel good.
