Despite of location in the center of the city, hotel was very quiet (except little noise made by underground subway) and there is also a nice park nearby. Interiors of rooms and public areas of the ho(s)tel are quite nice, with a SOHO touch - made with a good taste. They should mention, that a number of rooms does not have a window (ok, there are windows, but in the side of inner corridor)!
The location is on the Suzhou Creek, pleasant and quiet; but close to Xinzha Line 1 subway and walkable to center of city. Clean room. My room contained only the beds, a small end table, and a lightweight rack to hang some clothes, lacking any other furniture surfaces-- no desks, table, chairs-- and no closet. So your your belongings, suitcase or backpack goes on the floor or on your bed. Also, the rate I was asked to pay at the hostel was more than the quote on this site, and the room with a window cost even more.
Everything is good, nice environment, subway nearby, comfortable bed and cozy room. Toilet is big and clean, they provide hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, comb, and tooth brush, paste, pretty good for a hostel. You can order dinner at the front desk and the food is prepared freshly with a very good price, big serving. Me and my partner always come back for dinner, nice Chinese food, not too greasy or salty. Bed is big enough. Location is also good, 5 mins walk to a subway, one stop to people's square, or you can walk to people's square in about 15 mins. Sometimes the carpet outside toilet get wet and dampy, when we first walk into the room, the carpet outside toilet is already wet left from last guest.
Personal was very kind. The design of the hotel is wonderful. Good company of travellers. Wi-fi in my room.
Absolutely wonderful decoration and furnishing - great vibe about the place and a gorgeous location - next to a small park. Tube is only a 4 minute walk away. The walls inside are painted and there are different quirky styles all around. There is a useful little shop with drinks next door which is pretty much 24 hours. best place I have ever stayed at.
