I was in town for a concert at the Amalie Arena and didn't want to drive back to my home on the east Florida coast the same night. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the room was great. I would stay there again. The usual downsides to a downtown hotel, like having to pay a lot for parking and no spots available in the valet lot. Also, the only way I could find to get from the part of the 3rd floor where the catwalk from the garage/City of Tampa building and the conference rooms were was to go down the escalator to the lobby and then take a second set of elevators to the guest rooms (I was on the 8th floor).
great location, we went to the hockey game...couldn't have stayed closer!! it was perfect pillows were awful, room near elevator very noisy all night long could hear elevators
The Valet staff was professional and very good. The suite was a good size. There was a complimentary breakfast in the morning. I was completely unimpressed with the hotel. The suite was clean but a hodgepodge of stuff. The furniture in the suite was to big, very hard and uncomfortable, it was like you where sitting on 2x4's. The layout of the furniture in the suite and the suite itself was not well thought out. It was like the pieces of furniture where left overs and just thrown in the suite. The work table was severely lopsided and wobbly, the internet wire was broken. The shower curtain was installed so poorly that it actually hung on you as you took a shower and kept sliding open as it was not level at all. I stayed in this hotel expecting a room with some kind of semi nice water view, which only existed via a not very practical side window in the bedroom. The suite was not comfortable in any way.
It was so great to be able to walk to the tcc, the Forum and even Channelside wasn't that far. The free happy hour is nice if you don't mind waiting in line. The nightclub Jackson's Bistro played their music sooooo loud and it kept me up til past 2am! It sounded like a street parade with people banging on drums outside my windows. The bass drum was ridiculous. Not even pillows over my head helped. I was very mad because I had to wake up at 4:30am for my flight. I did not like that there was no option to self-park either and that it was $20 per night to park the car. Lame!
The woman who checked us in didn't seem to know what she was doing, but tried acting like she did. She charged our card for $489. When I told her we booked the room for $299 she said, "whatever I have on my computer is what you booked it for". I had to go back later that evening to have someone else adjust it. He was very friendly and saw that it was their mistake within seconds.
Excellent location and friendly staff. Well maintained facility and very nice rooms. Embassy Suites offers good value for our money and we recommend them highly. This hotel has great views of the channel and river. The river walk was super and lots of entertainment and good restaurants nearby. Only issue was a peculiar rumbling noise when we showered. Seemed like the hot water heater/ plumbing was struggling although we had no problem.
Proximity to everything.
Very bad customer service. Reserved a room with king bed and got one with 2 full beds instead. I paid extra for the one king bed. Nothing they can do.
Great service great location great hospitality clean Elevators
very spacious and comfortable suite rug was a bit dirty
Everything was clean, room service was speedy, all in all a pretty enjoyable stay The pillows aren't that comfortable for my neck. I feel as if they were just puffs of air that didn't provide much neck support.
The room and Hotel was very clean. The staff was excellent. Valet remembered us and was very personable every time we saw him. I can't remember the name of the front desk clerk when we checked in, he was very professional and helpful. This was our first time in the Tampa area and after our stay at the Hyatt we are ready to go back. The bed was very comfortable I never wanted to get out. I only have one complaint. Right after we checked into the room. Maintinence arrived at the request of the maid to fix the toilet paper roll in the wall. She had just walked in without knocking. After she saw us in the room she explained and did not know that we had checked in at the time.
Great time for the New Years Celebration. Hotel was clean, room had a great view, and the people were very helpful. I would def come back and stay here again.
I liked the waterfront view. It was a nice view on the 6th flor and look out over the bay especially at night view. The size of beds were too small and the placement of the lights in the room didn't allow proper lighting. They were too bright over the bed. The rugs needed cleaning.
The staff was very nice. The room was very modern. I didn't expect such a great experience. don't get me wrong I expected it to be fine but it exceeded just fine only drawback was that our lightbulb in the front hallway of our room was dead but everything else was perfect and even though we brought in Christmas away from home we still felt comfortable bringing it in there. I definitely look forward to staying there again on our next visit.
Clean and hospitable
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was pretty and the boardwalks were scenic. Our shower fixture was broken but still usable. I let the staff know when we checked out about the issue.
Breakfast its decent and good. The room carpet, bed cover, chairs in room could be in better condition. The carpet was a bit dirty, the bed cver had a burned hole made by a cigarette and the desk chair looked dirty. Everything else was in good shape. Goot hot water, clean towels & cheats, safe area, really nice personel and sevice. Overall it's ok but to be honest I spected a better room condition and it to be a bit cheaper do to the condtion of the room. But its ok, after all i'm satisfied. Breakfast its decent and good. Close proximity to Ibor City Had to pay for parking, nuts!!!!
Proximity to down town Ybor city
Staff was super helpful! Close to everything! We will stay again!
Right in Ybor, perfect for parades! Breakfast buffet was not the greatest for the price. A little overpriced for the size of the rooms.
Location and available transportation to airport Stayed at this hotel due to early international flight out the next morning was assigned a room as close to the interstate highway as possible. Needless to say we didn't sleep all night. We were told the hotel was only at 70% occupancy so don't understand why we were given such s terrible room other than booking with Kyak rather than Hilton direct.
the staff at the players club bar THE ENTIRE HOTEL. THE WHOLE PLACE WAS OLD AND FALLNG APART.
Staff there was extremely helpful and friendly. Even with a booking error on my end, they were right there helping me resolve it and getting us to our room as fast as possible. Definitely recommend staying here and will the next time I'm in town for work or leisure.
Took my family to Busch gardens for the day, when we checked in we had not eaten and we got room service, the food was horrible, the fries were cold and the kids chicken tenders were burned. The room was old and outdated and had a very week wifi signal. Overall I paid 267 dollars for this one night, when I really should only have paid at the most 150.
Staff were kind and attentive. Gym had all the basic equipment that I use to have a decent sweat. Rooms were updated finely. They had plenty of.good choices for meals. And a refreshing water fruit fusion stand at the front entrance. It was clear, that the hotel was being renovated and maintenance were scattered throughout the hotel. It seemed old in some parts with bad wallpaper . My room area where l stayed, very 80s. But surprisingly, the inside of my room was updated. The balcony was gross.
The staff member (Marcell) was the most professional hotel staff, very nice and we felt so welcomed thanks to Him!! The room was okay, clean and was nice to go on a quick trip. The price was perfect!!
I liked the sports bar in the hotel lobby. The rooms were way old and outdated. There was furniture missing from my room and when I asked about it, all they said was to wait until next year and I wouldn't be able to recognize the hotel after its renovation. I had no where to sit except my bed.
Friendly and courteous staff at check in. n/a
right by freeway, no mention of that anywhere. VERY LOUD FREEWAY. they gave us earplugs ... its just kindle a crappy chain hotel. yuk.
Location was perfect, close enough to all of the action but not too loud. Staff was amazing, very friendly, informative and cared to make our trip memorable! Room was clean and spacious! King bed was comfortable with pillows like clouds. I also liked how you needed the room key to get to your floor in the elevator and in the door to the "pre-lobby", I felt safe at this hotel. They should have the hot breakfast until 11 for all the late nighters.
The hotel was clean, not far from the airport, free breakfast and best of all free shuttle to the cruise pier. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt this was one of the best hotels for a pre cruise stay I have ever been at. Would not hesitate to stay here again ever!
The location was fantastic! Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in. Loved the layout of the room. The sleeper sofa was so great and unexpected. The room did feel a little dirty though (i think it was the carpet that made me feel this way). Breakfast was acceptable. Great place to stay if you are wanting to have some fun in Ybor.
Clean and comfortable. The King suite is a very Spacious room. Breakfast was ok. Pool is nice but very small and not much sun gets to it because it's in a narrow courtyard. Free shuttle to a 3 mile radius is convenient but doesn't run to/from airport. Security is tight and it needs to be. Kind of a rough area. Panhandlers and homeless on every street corner. Ybor City has a hip nightlife but Be careful walking around at night. Thought it was overpriced for the location. In retrospect we could've stayed on the beach for that price. If you like the nightlife then YBOR CITY has a lot to offer and this is likely as nice of a hotel as any in that area.
Location We were in rooms 236&237. Apparently the plumbing for the showers is not insulated as our water never got hot
Location, location, location! Great breakfast, good beds, excellent staff. A little expensive for the quality of room.
This is an older hotel but the room was clean and the property was mostly well kept. Some parts of the hotel showed their age, shower would not stay at set temperature
Location was great. We could watch the fireworks shows at Busch Gardens from our balcony or the pool. The breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. The pool was nice and was open late....a nice cool off after walking around the park all day. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Walking distance to several restaurants. We wish that the hotel offered a shuttle to the park entrance. I would gladly pay the hotel something rather than pay the 17 bucks to park and still have to walk pretty far at Busch to the tram. We did try to just walk directly from the room to the park but with small kids it was kind of long.(about a mile). That's not any fault but our own ambition. We still had fun.
ALL THE KIDS!
Its the perfect location right by Busch Gardens and easy to find Room was DIRTY, there was hair and debris all over the bathroom floor. Red stains all over the carpet and the bottom of our door didn't properly close. Also, the staff was nice but we arrived to find all 3 outside smoking right by the entrance
I went in thinking it was a better la Quinta, but was very disappointed when arriving. The rooms are old and outdated. Mold in the shower. Horrible neighborhood and RUDE staff. Spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else!
Morning continental breakfast was offered but with limited choices. Beds were old and not very comfortable. We actually asked for and exchanged rooms as the first one had a distinct animal smell. We asked and found out that La Quinta seems to pride itself on being "pet friendly". Thus, the resultant cat smell in our first assigned room. The second one smelled a little musty but did not have such an overpowering and distinct animal aroma. We would have moved to another hotel but had already pre-paid through a discount hotel locator.
After having to check out of a previous hotel for horrible conditions we were able to find a room at La Quinta. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The second room we stayed in had the strong odor of mildew, we tried to air the room out and spraying air freshener but it did not help.

The location was perfect and the view of the river was nice.
Location to where i was meeting people Old rooms. Fan did not work in bathroom even after i told them about the issue. Elevators were cumbersome. Bar closed at random times and did not have some simple drink choices. Could hear every sound in hallway......
The view was amazing location is perfect and the staff were great The rooms need updated
Close to trolley system, on water Pool area unacceptable, unkept, weeds, knocked over planters, highly worn furniture, not well stocked with furniture. Breakfast expensive and not fresh. Staff rude throughout trip, when complained about nonworking elevator told, 'Welcome to the Westin.'
Location Problems with sink plumbing and water draining in tub.
Roaches, super late in cleaning rooms, overall bad service.
Location, Location, Location. Downtown Tampa is Beautiful. High rise buildings, restaurants, attractions, waterfront. Very clean, safe and friendly. Room Key did not work on several occasions, back and forth to front desk. Staff did not clean our room from day 1 to day 2. Parking $18 self park. $22 Valet. Our room a little was small. Expected more for the 4 star rating.

Location Maids didn't clean room but we got discount for it.
location broken toilet seat, shower head,
Parking was an issue as a guest of the hotel a $10 fee to park in the parking deck which was reimbursed by the hotel or a $25 overnight valet parking fee which you did not get reimbursed on as a customer of the hotel you should have the option to valet your car without the $25 fee
casino and room booked smoking room did not det smoking room
The hotel has many facilities. It was further from the center as we thought and because of the casino (we assumed) the public was quite elderly, which we had not expected of a Hardrock hotel. Also too bad the breakfast was not included even though the rate was quite high (189 USD excl VAT)
ter do embora aprendeem a trabalhar e principalmente a limparem os quartos
cama, travesseiros, banheiro e instalações do hotél. Opção de café da manhã menos onerosa.
they have just about all you need on site pool side bar, lobby bar, sports bar and grill that was able to get our home town games for us, upscale 4 star restaurant and an excellent spa... we went to Florida to hit the beech and found our selves struggling to find a reason to leave our hotel spa services were amazing cant say enough about the experience, do yourself a solid and book a message. no on site parking you are forced to valet your car for 24$ a day and neither our booking site nor the mariot site see it fit to mention that... that said the valet service was good and we never had to wait long for our car
