The spa is lovely and the location on the beach is good. The Sheraton Sopot unfortunately was a disappointment. The location was fantastic but the service let it down. Everything was an extra cost from breakfast, use of the spa, internet, late check-out for just one hour. It felt like the hotel just wanted to make money rather than welcome guests. Having come from the Hilton in Gdansk where nothing was too much trouble and there were no extra costs for any of the above we were surprised to find a hotel of similar quality differing so much.
nothing even if you have a question you have got to pay...
Nice location and good facilities. Clean and tidy Most personal good but some of the girls in the reception still think that you have to be dressed in a certain way to stay in the hotel. In Sweden we have a different clothes code maybe moore casual than in Poloand. So one of my collegues got a bit ill treated when we arrived. see above
The only thing we didn't like was we paid extra for a room with a sea view. When we looked out our window it was very hard to see the sea as there were large trees blocking our view. They would not change the rate of our room even though it really wasn't a sea view. They could not move us the first night, but were able to the second night. Our view from the second room was better, but there were still trees blocking some of the view. I also wish the rooms had a real balcony, there are doors that open, but there is only about 6 inches of balcony to stannd on.
I did not get the room which I booked.People from reception were not able to solve my problem.
Nice hotel with pleasant and helpfull staff. Nice rooms, and a perfect location. The hotel is not ready and charges 5 star prices for a 3 star facility. No fitness room, no meeting rooms... it is too expensive for its offerings.
very nice hotel, I had a great time
Very bad room service. We waited over an hour for our order. There was no coffee, milk or toilet paper either.
meals in the restaurant, design of the hotel, location design of the restaurant is like a dining room in student house
Rooms are very well appointed. Bed is comfortable and nice. We had a sea view that was great. Slow housekeeping service. Breakfest at $30 per person!!?? Much too much.
Sea view, bath robes, luxurious cosmetics, excellent bed and bed linnen, tea and coffee in the room low quality TV, room layout, uncomfortable bar area with the unpleasant smell from the restaurant, no lobby/lauch/relaxing area with sea view. From 5 star hotel being so expensive I expected much more, however the view from the window compensated for everything
Most comfortable beds in Europe!!!
The best is the bed, very comfortable. Also, the free internet in the room is ok. Very nice building (hystorical). Lack of english language channels on tv. The central heating system didn't work in first instance, but they fixed it somehow. The internet also couln't work until somebody fixed it. Room service didn't answer several times. Anyway, the resort is more populated in the summer because of the sea side.
Friendly staff and the comfiest bed I have slept in
Our suite #214 - one of the biggest rooms in the whole hotel! And the individual exclusive feeling of staying in such a historical hotel! If the walls could speak... We ordered food to the room (room service) and it didn´t fullfill the expecations of a 5-star hotel. Plain and standard taste unfortunately...
The Room was so dirty. We had the same problem last year when we stayed in the same hotel.
The quality of the place and the pool indeed. Late checkin time 2pm and early checkout 10am !
Beautiful building and high standard of finish inside, rooms very comfortable and elegantly furnished. Staff very polite and willing to please. I liked the breakfast buffet whihc had a wide variety plus chef cooked breakfast option at no extra cost. 1. Food (dinner) and dining service in this hotel is fair but not up to other European 5 Star hotels and certainly should be better for the price. 2. Although my room was impressively furnished, the bed gave me serious back ache after just one night. I do not have problems with my back and would suggest the bed is too soft 3. No foreign exchange available in such a large and expensive hotel! 4. The Internet connection was so slow it was virtually unusable
swomming poll and sauna
Lower price - price in Poland for the type of Hotel to high - I have been in other hotel in Gdansk (Novotel) also close to the beach like Sofitel -and the diffirent in price is to high - We are not getting much more at Sofitel compare to Novotel - and the price at Sofitel is more than 25 % more expencive When we have to go to the beach you have to work around the hole hotel - there is no directly entrance to the beach h
Great hotel, fantastic rooms, best service by the staff and very good breakfast. We are going back!
helpful staff to close to very busy railway
Everything was good. Small boutique hotel. Good location just 5 min walk from the city centre.
The hotel was charming, staff was responsive. All were generally positive. The bed was not big. There were two pillows - one too large, the second is too small - it was not convenient to sleep
Excellent location, cosy room, furnished in modern. Perfect for romantic weekend, for family holidays,or business trip. Recommend!
The design of the rooms is amazing, and the location is super. Extra clean and spacious with a nice price.
Fantastic location, new building, interesting design of the room The room was relatively small, the check-out process took a little long
Very nice, comfortable and modern design both the hotel and the room, nice hotel restaurant with a very good cuisine very good location Too small car park/garage and needs pre-reservation balcony shared with the next door guest which doesn't secure privacy restaurant is excellent but it offers Thai cuisine only
Nice and clean room. Excellent location next to the walking street and pier. Reasonable breakfast. Reception arranged very good taxi driver at very reasonable cost. No lobby bar.
perfect location great thai food downstairs,
The Bayjonn Hotel recently opened (August 2009) and is situated in a centrally located newly developed part of Sopot close to the beach, pier, restaurants and bars. Rooms are spacious with 'designer' style high quality fittings. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast in adjoining cafe/bistro

Very nice modern butique hotel. excellent location.
Great location, very nice and comfortable hotel for business as well as leisure trips. Not very nice view, but in such a location who cares!
Very nice interiors, perfect location, design feeling. nothing
The only positive aspect of staying there is location (central and close to main attractions). I was very disappointed by this facility. The picture shows a nice building. In reality you enter (on the side) an old staircase to climb to the second (European)/third (American) floor. There is a recently renovated apartment (in a cheap way) where single rooms are rented. Our room was small (with adjacent included bathroom). There was enough space for the bed and tiny table. Old TV set, small closet and folded cheap chairs (with not much space to put them anyway) completed the furnishings. It wasn't a place you would want to spend any more time in than necessary. Across the hall there was a room which was rented to a big group of young people. They didn't have their bathroom so they kept parading half naked all the time. They made a lot of noise at 4.30 in the morning while having a breakfast in the open kitchen. It felt like staying at the dorm! The person supervising is not there (other than the time to collect money and give the key). She didn't even come back for the check out. Overall unless you really like the location and there is nothing else available there, I wouldn't recommend this place.
