friendly staff and good service dirty carpets in the corridors+poor breakfast
the location and facilities not too friendly
It was overlooking the beach, it had direct access to a beatiful pedestrian and the breakfast was good. The overall experience was unsatisfactory. The staff are undertrained and somewhat rude. The receptionists were not helpful, couldn't respond to problems that came up, staff at the hotel would take our orders wrong or give us misleading information. The wifi was never working in our room and the excuses we received time and time again were never satisfactory. Overall this was definitely not a 5-star experience even though it was a 5-star price, i wouldnt suggest it to anyone.
The pool area, the room and the gardens. The breakfast was not up to the 5-star standard. All the services(massage, hair dressing etc) were too expensive. The adjacent beach was not nice.
The view was amazing, the pool and gardens were exceptional, but no attention to the finer details. The limited staff at the hotel tried their best and were as friendly as possible. No attention to the finer details which is a must in any 5star hotel. Due to the fall in business you sensed the cuts in staffing and facilities. And the use of energy saving lightbulbs everywhere is great for environment but lack in ambience
the Lobby the breakfast is poor comparing to other 5* hotels or resorts.
Very nice room The staff in breakfast and at the night bar it poor as number no good service old hotel no a five star hotel more as three star hotel
not even a 3 star hotel the whole hotel
Very responsive and good staff. More or less good pool and pool services. not much crowded, good quality of food Low quality of rooms assuming that the hotel value itself as 5 star, far from sea and no good access to beach, dirty beach (not at the hotel territory), very short menu - after 3-4 days there was nothing new to order, no animation and poor kid's facilities
We ordered a cyprus coffee with which they generally offer a small cyprus sweet (loukoumi). I have asked for a second sweet and the waiter said " No, only one comes with the coffee." In addition, we had to wait 1 hour at the pool bar for 1 portion of pasta.
All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a mature setting with established trees and gardens, yet the hotel facilities look new. No
seaview room, food and entertainment nothing
The pool was nice, they organised a lot of games daily, the room was comfortable and the food was good
Friendly staff, quiet and relaxed atmoshere Poor entertainment(during the evening) pool towels need to be changed urgently!!!! More attention when cleaning the rooms
It was my wifes birthday when we stayed at this hotel, and with no prompt from me, they placed a very nice Birthday cake in our room. She was very touched. The staff were all extremely pleasant and very helpful.
Great hospitality No
Easy self drive location 20 mins from airport.Helpful friendly staff.Very good range of breakfast/evening meal buffets.Pleasant outside pool area with garden ( though this pool is un heated) and flat access to beach and boardwalk path.Tennis courts good.Walk into harbour area with castle in easy 25mins.Lots of eating places next to harbour wall.Would agree with others that the tend to be mainly age 65+ but that did not worry us at all. Has a reasonable pool and jacuzzi but could do with being refurbished soon.Same could be said of the small gym room facilities, there is no rower or running treadmill.Beds could have quilts rather than blankets, very 1970s.Solid old style keys not cards,so multiple guest access an issue. As it was winter there was no AC on but we being from UK found it hot in the room at night, had to leave the window open all night with a small amount of noise.Pool and games room/squash/tennis finish at 1900 which is a bit early.
Location - Very nice view of the sea. Fair food menu. The furniture is very old. Everything in it shows you that it saw tens of years passing by. The hotel is like Brigitte Bardot. She was superb 30-40 years ago but now is just an old lady. Not a 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size and in the summer the balcony would have been nice to sit on.The dining area was quite spacious and the food was varied and plentiful. The female staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent and the pool looked clean and inviting. There was not much choice for vegetarians even if you ate fish and the orange juice was not freshly squeezed as you would expect in a country that grows oranges. To get anything but Nescafe for breakfast you have to use a machine which is slow although the coffee when you get it is good. We never found an alternative to the lift to the top two floors apart from an emergency staircase where the rubber covering on the treads was very worn and quite dangerous. It is not the place to go if you like a quiet drink as the music in the bar in the evening is loud and permeates everywhere. If you only bring carry on luggage, with limited liquids allowed, it is annoying to find no toiletries provided apart from a dispenser.
every thing was excellent
