Very central, fancy and with nice staff.
Good sized room, clean, well located.
We liked the proactive way the Front Office manager handled our botched pick up from the station. We did not like the gloomy club lounge, poor F&B presentations in the lounge and some over familiar staff.
The hotel certainly deserves the 5 stars status it has. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were always on hand to assist when we required help.
The weather and the food was quite good quality. Lack of choice of dining areas, expensive wine, even local S.African wines. Expensive transfer from airport to hotel, which did not arrive on time.
Currently extensive building work within the building which is noisy from early morning.
the rooms were amazing and clean....great value for money....and the staff were 5 star class!!
Fair price Cheap bed linen - poor quality Poor water pressure in shower Staff not well trained to deal with queries E.G. shower problem Not in a safe location after 20h00 (on advice of staff)
Hospitality. Oh and the welcome note on the screen was comforting for this single lady Shuttle I was given for local ride (to sanc offices)
rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful pay t.v and movies channel was not working.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
Location was good, staff were friendly and the rooms were modern. Was very easy to find and open all hours. No room service at all, no dinners. And no smoking rooms
Staff was brilliant!! Funny smell in the room. Tiles in shower must be redo, water dams up!!
Location, Friendlyness of Staff, Breakfast and the central location in Pretoria No, we had a Great time.
Good taxi service to football almost everything. horrid area, horrid box room, shower uncontrollable, no safe: i could go on.....
Clean rooom, breakfast good Room too small, Hotel price too expensive, defenetly not woth while. Can not reccommend that hotel to anybody, bad area
The staff were very helpful in arranging transportation. The breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. The hotel is close to the train and bus terminal and government office buildings. The immediate area around the hotel is a little seedy. The staff were unable to suggest things to do and see in Pretoria and that surprised us.
Friendly staff, cleanliness, convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel, live music Problems with faucet, window that would not close, cockroaches, mouse, neighbourhood
Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a piece of chocolate waiting each day in the room. Nothing major. I ended up paying for internet because it wasn't made clear that there were internet coupons available to guests (I assumed internet wasn't included). Also, although it was great that the staff wanted to get feedback on how the stay was (to improve service), I thought at times that it was a bit overdone - to be constantly asked for feedback about the service got a little tiring.
Delightful old-world charm and fussy detail. Felt much like a private house guest rather than hotel transient. Inarguably cute and quaint. Almost impossible to find, and no response initially to arrival. No community with other guests and little effort to involve with facilities.
I was amazed at the beauty of the home and the natural scenery of the surrounding area. I had expected a typical hotel, and instead found myself in an unexpected oasis. I enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast each morning on the patio, served by a truly professional and friendly staff. My every want was expertly taken care of, and I will certainly return to stay at The Coral Tree Inn again.
