Good location. Large room. That's all! Staff unfriendly and unhelpful ( apart from Reception Manageress). Service very poor. Room shabby.Every day something missing when room serviced e.g no hand towels, bath mat, tea & milk
Very good hotel, room excellent, food ok, good position. poor service in dining room. Not a great choice of food.
Room and refrigerator were dirty. (with bugs). Breakfast and location are very good. The hotel needs "renewal works" .
Near the beach and shops. hotel needs updating - very shabby.
just the location family
Sea view -
The view was good and its location. Hotel would suit a low budget family. The plastic tablecloths, dirty window ledges in the dining room and scale covered shabbat urn were disgusting. All these things could be attended to with little expense. The room and corridor carpets need a good 'soap' clean
wonderful helpful staff, 24 hour hot drinks, beautiful room, clean
Very good Hotel for money! The location and staff were very good. Very good location - in the very center of Netanya! Very good breakfast is provided, fresh and testy. Thank`s a lot to Mr.Baloulou Ephraim-The restaurant manager, Ora-The tourist manager. The sea absolutely nearby. Coffee, tea, water - all the day! Family hotel! Very kind relation. Очень долго лифт ждали все время, приходилось пешком ходить.
The hotel has very good location, near with a lift to the beach and city center. The staff of the hotel were very nice!!!
Very good breakfast is provided, fresh and testy. Included in the price for the room… none
excellent staff and great location, free internet in lobby a little outdated
Location, dining room staff In desperate need of overall renovation
The room had a beautifull view on the Mediterranean Sea. The bed was OK and the breakfast was OK, but not very luxury The hotel could use some redecoration
good breakfast, very closer to the beach small bath rooms two small beds together instead of one queen bed
renovated bathroom, view
i liked the location near the beach and near city center. the promenade was nice. small parking and no security.
Wonderful view from the windows: we could see and hear the sea.
There are only three reasons to stay at this hotel: beach, beach and beach. there really is nothing else to recommend it. You can take the escalator to the beach, and the place to rent jet skis, kayaks, etc is right there. Thankfully, I see some new hotels are being built in the area, so this one is going to have to be forced to compete. The rooms were furnished with furniture 40+ years old, the breakfast food was the absolutely worst I have ever eaten in Israel -- of the poorest quality imaginable, and some of it rotten (eggs). There are no amenities. Some of the staff really tried very hard -- the dining room manager/waiter in the Residence Beach (hotel without the reception desk) was very accommodating. On the other hand, the head of reception -- Duke -- was nasty, sarcastic, immature, and started complaining about me to other hotel reception staff in front of me. How this guy got his job I have no idea. What he was making a big deal about was that I had been "upgraded" which meant a smaller balcony, when a larger balcony was important to me.
Clean well located
Hotel was clean, the staff were very helpful & our stay was most pleasant. Thank you
staff were very good in supplying extra hangers and towels people smoking in front area of main entrance
The staff was very straightforward and friendly. They let us stay an extra hour without any problem. We at the last 30 minutes of breakfast but other people came much later and noone gave them a hard time. It was nice how relaxed everyone was. The place was beautiful, great location, modestly designed (which I find tasteful) and the food was great.
we particullarly like the friendly atmosphere which is generated by the staff and the reception and restuarant staff It would be very helpful if a recepticle was placed on eavh table in the dining room at breakfast so you could place empty butter packs used tea bahs etc
It was conveniently situated in Netanya, near the square and the beach. Transport faciltiies by train and bus were good also. We were cheated by a taxi driver who took us to the train station and gave us change witwh a dud 50 shekel note.
What a find! I booked online without much info and found a gem. This is a European style hotel, small, friendly, clean with local color. Not a chain style or for hotel snobs who want a Ritz Carlton and big lobbies . They solved every problem I had in perfect English. The outside restaurant which serves the included breakfast overlooks the sea and is the perfect way to start your day. Right at the beach, a block from town and the square where everything is located. I booked 5 days and stayed for 4 more it was so nice, Duke at the front desk is the best. a large playground is outside. Many French tourists adding to the European flavor. I can't wait to return.
kitchen facilities in the room - wonderful idea. very good view and location on the cost and not far from the center.the girl at the reception - Svetlana - is ver friendly and helpful!
Good location right on the beach The décor was old and tired. It looked as though it had not been refurbished since the 1970s and more than that, it was filthy. There was hair in the bathroom and sand on the floor
breakfast was good, location was great, room was comfortable
Most of the staff wanted to go the extra mile to accommodate the guests. The wireless service was flaky and slow on my floor (both my colleague and myself had severe problems)... not ideal to use this hotel as a business hotel.
Good rooms (bed room + kitchen with sofa) while price is reasonable.Residence "Beach" (annexed to Residence Hotel) had internet connection with reasonable speed in the room while in "Residence (where reception is located)" internet was available only in public location. Not in particular.
Its location, sea-view for all rooms, russian-speaking staff, parking, daily change of towels bad bathroom fixtures
The uninterrupted view of the beach and sea was fabulous Breakfast was served - there wasn't a buffet. No choice of breakfast and it didn't vary - each day was the same as the previous day's breakfast. We used the kitchenette but we had to do our own washing up yet there was no washing up liquid or dishcloth provided. For what we paid the washing up should have been done for us.
We didn't have much expectations for this hotel - 3 stars and all.... But it turned out to be great! Modest, very clean, best location in Netanya!! Great value for money. It is one of like two hotels in Netanya that has an amazing access to the beach. Beach Sironit is very clean and well maintained too. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. If you're thinking about your vacation in Netanya - this is the best option in town!
My brother and I loved everything about the hotel and plan to return next year for 10 days. A week in Israel just isn't long enough. We were particularly impressed with the friendliness of all the staff at the hotel and their willingness to listen and help. There is nothing negative to say about the hotel.
wonderful staff, balcony facing the sea, large room, large pool with comfortable enclosure items of dirt in room due to the inability to sweep under the bed as there was no space between the bed and floor.
Cleanness of the room and all hotel facilities. Location, Good service of staff.Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with well mannered and attentive staff. a little bit far from the city center.
One cat was moving in the breakfast room. Many chairs were having cat hairs.
Very frendly personal and ready to help. A bit dirty inside and outside, old furniture, scrimpted breakfast. But anyway all good enough for price about $100 per night...
Big room, cleanliness, view from balcony, nice location, TV with programs in Russian, beach Absence of tea-pot and hairdrier
Staff very friendly. Good location for town & beach
Seaview, comfortable bed, easy-to-get location
Nothing. I have very bad experience with them -the worst one ever (and I travell a lot). The official photos must be photo-shopped because they don’t describe state of this hotel or the atmosphere. I have reserved 3 nights (Aug 2010) in “refurbished room” (for 180$ per night). Immediately, at the entry we realized that hotel is older than photos show, but the worst thing happened when we entered the "refurbished" room....the awful mold smell strucked us. The smell is stronger when you turn on the AC. After observation of the room I realized that it is semi-refurbished and that green clusters of mold can be seen on hall ceiling. I could not sleep whole night because of this smell and in the morning I wanted to settle the bill and leave, but they didn't let me pay only for the night I spent there, they charged me two. Unfair.
This place was right near the people we wanted to visit in Netanya, Israel. Also It's location by the ocean means hearing and seing the ocean in full glory from your room. You can also walk on the promenade overlooking the ocean all way down to the city center. All this at a reasonable price this time of year. Beds were old style -- small and skinny, with old blankets and pillows.
