The staff was very polite and willing to serve. Gas cooker was great and shower water was hot. The pool was nice but didn't open until 10am, and I was hoping to go swimming at 7 or 8am. The apartments were really small and somehow a little gloomy and stuffy. There weren't a dishbrush or washing-up liquid and I think there's no sense that all guests buy their own :-)
Nice location. Staff friendly Accommodation too small. Overall expensive and everything charged as extra eg sunbeds, use of tennis courts
The villa was exactly what I wanted and the pool was amazing. There could have been more pool side lounge chairs.
Good restaurant and sweaming pool area. Convenient parking, nice area outside the town, with a lot of pines, 5-10 minutes walking distance from the sea. Staff is very pleasant, wellcoming and helpful. Bungalows are well-equipped, but a bit worn, a restauration and soundproof improvements are needed. There is no cleaning service for the rooms (due to the format of a camping). The water in sweaming pool was too cold - plus 15 degrees only.
Clean, private accommodation with room for parking. Beautiful pool. Beach 5mins walk. Helpful staff. It seems Italian policy to wear a bathing cap in all swimming pools. We did not purchase one therefore did not use the pool.
We chose to stay at Camping Village Rocchette because of the fact that it has a large pool area and is within close distance from the sandy beaches of the Maremma. We liked the restaurant very much, good food at fair prices. The pool was rather dirty. Staff was not very interested and only speak Italian. The bungalows are small, but ok. The only thing there that was extremely annoying is the fact that you can literally hear your neighbours' flustering - there is therefore little privacy. These factors combined with the price assure for us not to return to this village
Everything was OK, staff, room, surroundings were pleasant. Absence of a hair-drier was not good in not warm weather.
We were staying at Camping Village Rocchette for two weeks, and we really enjoyed the stay. The staff who worked there was really nice, the best i have met in Italy. Even though, we did not bring a car there, and that was a mistake i did (this is not the Campings fault), cause it was really hard to get around, and the camping did not offer any transport/sightseeing. the swimming pool is really great. good restuarant as well. the hotel personnel was very helpfull. for young people staying in this hotel might be boring...
The hotel was very clean (e.g. towels changed twice a day). Hotel staff very nice, friendly and helpfull. Great location and facilities (private beach, swimming pool, parking space, restaurants and bars, air conditioning functioned very well). Hotel and staff very children friendly. Delicious Italian food served for dinners. Breakfest could be improved (variety of warm dishes).
great room wifi not available for free
The private beach enters into cost, presence of a free parking, the big territory, children's playground presence, cosy territory, nearby excellent cafe with good kitchen, works without a siesta, there is a shop. Breakfasts monotonous and not so big assortment. A little table with armchairs for a balcony have given out only after request, a bathroom small, there is only a shower which have been built in a wall, it is not convenient for the child.
Nice place near beutiful beach. Great kitchen. The atmosphere were a little strange, we did not feel much good. We had an accident with a mouse in our room but the personal acted rather promptly. The room, especially bathroom was quite small. We felt much better in a small family hotel at Elba we went after.
Ladies at the reception were fantastic The man from beverage, Francesco, was very bad news.
Food excellent, parking good Tea and coffee in room would have been appreciated. Some carpet in rooms rather than tiled flooring.
