it is nice and calm hotel. it is situated in calm place. breakfast is finished too early. small room for three persons
Fair sized room, clean, totally acceptable for a overnight stay on a drive to somewhere, wouldn't want to spend days here. Very friendly staff. This is not a hotel in the sense of a single structure, there is a central building with the restaurant and check in and a second building (chalet concept) where the rooms are located on either the ground or first floor and open directly into the car park. This is positive if you are on an overnight stay like myself as you can leave the car right outside the room, but, not if you are on a long term stay as your room opens out directly into the car park which makes it exposed and dark.
Did it's job as a functonal hotel as we passed through Agen. Clean and comfortable and handy. Not the best value we foud during our cycle tour.
The Staff did not understand or speak english.
Comfort Fittings Lack of Air Conditioning
a nice menu, good breakfast, easy parking, close to motorway booked a triple room, expected 3 proper beds. Got two beds and a roll away, so uncomfortable not possible to sleep on. Triple room, TWO cups for ONE drink. Triple rooms should be just that - a room fit for THREE people, not a double with a bit of mattress thrown in as an afterthought. Room was far too small for three adults. Please don't insult the paying customer who knows better.
Room provided excellent bed which was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, telephone, and excellent digital television clean good bathroom more than adequate with good towels and high standard of cleanliness The Restaurant could provide better food
Arrived very late at night and left very early so not really able to judge. However, everything was functional. Room for a triple was very small. Generous Coffee and tea facilities. Extra bed is a rollaway stored under the double. Did not have the impression of cleanliness under the bed
Room was very clean, a/c effective, lighting and hot water excellent. Walking distance from train station. They were short on food Sunday evening, despite advertising 24-hr. light meals. On the other hand, the 9.50 euro breakfast (optional) was a pretty good value.
We were the only guests for dinner but were very well looked after by the Head Waiter.
Located in a beautiful countryside Chateau Lassalle is a good place to relax. It is charming in a 'shabby chic' way. However, it is quite isolated and one depends on the hotel for breakfast and dinner. It is not the best for visiting Agen and other sites. The breakfast and especially dinner are overpriced. We would not recommend it as a place to stay for city trips.
The staff were so kind and helpful. We had our dog with us and this proved to be no problem at all. What a treat to find a nice hotel in France!
The suite was beautiful. The setting was lovely and we had a wonderful meal in the garden- the staff were friendly and looked after us well. The chairs in the breakfast room were not brilliant for my husband who was suffering with a bad back.
Staying away from the manager as much as possible. There wasn't much too like. The manager was the biggest problem, he was rude and incompetant. Asking people to swap rooms and take their shoes off when they entered the hotel! He double booked our room so that we had to move hotels half way through our stay! I was thankful to leave there.
The room was tiny, especially the bathroom. The hot water was unpredictable and often nonexistent. But the worst thing was the complete lack of soundproofing. I could hear everything that any of my neighbors were doing, leading to some embarrassing moments and never a night of uninterrupted sleep.
The evening receptionist was helpful, in addition Car parking was a plus. The toilet and shower facilities were undesirable and not very hygienic e.g. no were to wash your hands etc. The position of the facilities was not explained very well in your advertisement i.e. shared shower area and toilet In the corridor.
The price Incorrect location given on booking.com website
cheap i used the map on the booking.com website to decide to use this hotel, unfortunately the hotel is nowhere near this location, it took two hours to find it and that was due to pure luck, i will never stay at this hotel again for that reason, it is a very underhand way of advertising a hotel, also the room was not very clean
We had a meeting with family and friends, also a mix of buisness and pleasure
Friendly welcome. Nice pool No restaurants within walking distance
Excellent value for money. Quiet location Lack of tea and coffee facilities in our room
Price. Good value for the room. There is a swimming-pool but we were only staying for a one-night stopover. Some may find the room a little small and the TV is tiny. However this should be considered against the price. Overall a good price for a clean room - that is the main thing for a stopover. However I do not think it is ideal for more than a couple of nights maximum.
This is a fab find. Easy to get to, clean and very welcoming. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good. The husband and wife team who run it are great fun and gave us information about Agen and the surroundin areas. Would definitely use again if in the area.
absolutly loved this hotel owners were fantastic food excellent great for relaxing weekend
My room was spacious and comfortable and being on the ground floor was a bonus with all my luggage!
Efficient, friendly staff. Ideal for a night or 2. No.
Very friendly welcome, good value - continental breakfast. Noisy people arriving at 2.30am. I know this can happen in any hotel but this one closes the foyer area after 10pm and a side door is used straight into the corridor. People congregated in this area which is right outside bedrooms to chat when they got in late - if the foyer had been open the noise in the corridors may not have been so bad.
Stqff very friendly qnd pool good
