Only the location in respect to our destination (Iffield) The bathroom facilities were poor. The breakfast quality was poor. The room did not have double glazing. The bed linen and furnishings do not match and there is no homely feeling.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the Guest House had a very good, relaxing atmosphere.

Clean and friendly sharing breakfast table with strangers. No tea making facilities in room. Rather dated in decor.

The location was reasonably quite with only a little aircraft noise from the nearby airport. My room was very small and had a strong smell. However when I complained, I was moved to a double room. This had a small childs wardrobe that was not tall enough to hang my suit carrier. The bathroom was outside the room but private, except there was no lock on the door. The quirky furniture was not too my taste, but the bed was comfortable. Rugs on the floors were horribly dirty, and I made an effort not to stand on them in the bathroom.
Spotlessly clean - you would struggle to find a speck of dust! Very friendly, courteous and efficient couple run this guest house. Ample parking. This place would have been amazing in 1985 - fine if you don't mind dated décor. The breakfast could be improved.

Sorry, but there was nothing I liked about this hotel except that it had been newly decorated and looked clean.. Front door did not work so entrance was by a fire door on the side. Rear ground floor windows were boarded up. I was in a very small attic room. No chair or desk. Wardrobe was a hook on the toilet door. Radiator did not work very well. TV was tiny. Kettle had to be put on the floor to be plugged in. No room for luggage or even a toilet bag. Only window was a skylight with no blind.
The staff was very helpful and bent over backwards to help us when there turned out to be a booking mistake. The website said it was only 1.5 miles from the airport, but that wasn't true and the taxi was expensive to get there. Also, although we made a booking over the internet, when we arrived the staff had no idea about our reservation. We were almost left with no place to stay. Apparently the boss wrote down the wrong date--and this isn't the first time. Always call this place to confirm, or you may be left high and dry.
the room was pretty deesent,even though it was a bit cramped. It was also clean and breakfast was ok. first of all you cant get a gatwick bus that goes arround to the hotels to get there, and secondly there is no 24 hour reception,so its a bit tricky checking in after a certain hour.
