This was a perfect hotel in a great location. We traveled all over Sri Lanka and found this hotel to meet or exceed every expectation. The room was perfect, the pool area was pure luxury and the restaurant choices were excellent. I would stay there again. The only "quirk" was that the elevators were not air conditioned. But they were fast, so we didn't have to be in them very long!

From the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. We were greeted by all staff in an extremely friendly and professional manner. The room was great. The restaurants fantastic from the food to the service. A wonderful experience.
Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Great lobby and restaurants Room clean but needs to be refurbished. Parking not available in most occasions. Rooms definitely need to be refurbished. Hallway outside the room has a unpleasant smell. Bathroom exhaust fan does not work right. Mirror gets fogged after shower. No power outlet in bathroom. Bad lighting in room.
the rate of room i been given by your office different from the actual and also they been charch me for the previouse night full price which i attend at 6 O clock morning. this is not fair.
Unlike many Hiltons, the food in some of the restaurants was great - especially the Curry Leaf and Spoons. The Executive Lounge staff were wonderful, as were the rest of the staff at the hotel. The hotel is in a good location, especially for business or if you intend to travel by train. We had an enormous room on the top floor, in need of updating but fantastic if you have a child with you. Cocktails in the downstairs lounge were woeful - mine barely tasted of anything and had little alcohol in it (and I don't drink much so I would notice). The pool area needs to upgrade its towels. Many were frayed and threadbare.
Very nice hotel. Breakfest absolutely lovely with a beautiful wiev over the garden. We will be back.
The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel, with good taste in decoration, comfortable, almost luxurious. The suites are wide and very comfortable. The stay in Casa Colombo is truly a unique experience, very enjoyable. The hotel charges you for services performed by other companies, mainly the transfers. What happens is that you pay double the price for services, retaining the hotel half of what you pay. I requested the hotel transfer from the airport and, although I was promised a luxury car, and expected a nice car from the hotel, I was contacted at the airport by an Avis employee and was transported by a regular Avis car. However I paid at least double of what Avis would have charged me. I believe that the hotel should not charge for services provided by third parties, since it is an obligation of the hotel to provide such contacts. When I traveled from Colombo to Galle I ended up paying for a much nicer car 80 usd when the hotel requested for an Avis regular car 170 usd.
The location of the hotel is very good. Staff very friendly and answered all the question I asked. Rooms size big enough. The swimming pool and other facilities were under maintenance, which I was not informed with the booking. The windows of the rooms were permanently closed, so no fresh air. TV Remote broken.
It is not a bad hotel , but needs a lot of renovation . I stayed at tha top floor and it leaked from raining .The leakage was dangerous as water comes from lights and roof. I do not think I got the value of my money, though the hotel is a nice one and with nice location.
