Walking distance to main attractions, although in Vientiane everything is walking distance. So really... nothing! Staff barely spoke english and were useless. Internet was not working during our whole stay ( in personal computers), and we booked that hotel bc it said free inernet. They had 2 computers in the lobby that it worked in, but guests it was hard as everyone was using it, all guests were annoyed at this. The staff did nothing about it, and did not offer any kind of compensation. There are plenty of better value hotels in this same area. I wish Booking.com would stop listing hotels when the promises it offers are not delivered.
It's an old clean affordable three star hotel with good sized rooms and reasonable service.
facilities are not good, internet is expensive and not stable
Nice pool and fitness facilities. Staff could barely speak English and were not especially helpful. Breakfast was a real disappointment -- poor selection and the food wasn't very tasty.
Good breakfast spread House keeping was a bit slack
Excellent food, both the breakfast and evening buffet. Good service in restaurant. Well assorted mini bar. Many things broken in Fitness Club. Madress very old and bumpy. Extremely expensive beer, vine and liqour in bars and restaurant, 3-4 times the prize of any restaurant/bar in town. Located in "the middle of nowhere" 3 kms from city/shopping/restaurants.
Good selection of TV channels and good water pressure in the bathroom. The staff gave me the wrong room when I arrived and they didn't seem generally very interested. They were friendly other times though. Also the bed very lumpy and seemed to be old.
Good service from staff. Good location. Good amenities in room (suite). Room not checked properly between guests.
Clean and new room The floor of hotel is made of stone, so it was very noisy and disturbed my sleep. I could hear everything, people's voice, walking and shower. Most rooms haven't windows, it is difficult to relax in the room.
the staff are helpful, nice, hotel clean and near to restaurants. the breakfast is too brief :(
Good view of the river and friendly staff helped to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Accommodation is basic but clean.
The staff was excellent: kind and accommodating. I would definitely stay again on another trip.
Very nice buffet breakfast and the deck that looked over the mekong for breakfast was very serene. The hotel & staff were lovely but it was advertised that the hotel picked up the guest at the airport. We booked but the hotel shuttle was not waiting for me. It did not come till I found someone to call the hotel and pick me up.
I like the restaurant patio view overlooking the Mekong River. Unfortunately when it rains the patio section is all wet and unusable. The bathroom drainage could be improved.
Hotel in proximity to the airport (max 10 min ride). Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. Good sized rooms and bathrooms (hygiene articles are provided). If you can, ask for a room with river view or higher than the 3rd floor! We stayed in a room on the the 2nd floor without river view. It turned out to have no view at all. Seems as if they had planned to have a balcony, but it turned out to be a kind of confined space with high walls which could not be accessed other than via the window (no door). - Restaurant rather drab and presentation of breakfast no very appetizing, for lunch and dinner we went to the Highlander Bar 50 m to the right. - Rather far from the city centre (forget walking - tuktuk will charge 15.000 kip p.p. to go there). - Not much to see in the neighborhood.
I thought it was great value for money. I like the little touches, such as the free shuttle service to the airport (which I wasn't expecting, and which was much appreciated).
It was a pleasent stay & I would love to see u again.
The hotel is very poor facility. I stayed for two night and No hot water in a shower room.
