Position in town, very friendly personel, good recommendations for eating out, well isolated rooms, quiet, nice view of street with traditional danish buildings.
Nothing This is not a recommandable hotel. Too expensive for nothing.
It is a charming hotel run by a delightful & very professional couple.
Nice clean and central hotel with complementary coffee 24-H. Quiet except for some other guests who brought a trailer full of dogs that stayed overnight on the parking lot.
Friendly staff, comfy and clean room.
The hotel is central, 100meters from the town´s shopping center and all the restaurants and coffee shops. It has its own parking which was free of charge under the period we were there. The personal is kind and helpful. The breakfast was not that expected for hotel´s price. There was no personal after 19:00 in reception. Lobby was closed and there was no possibility to drink or eat anything after that time.
One of the best hotels i have ever stayed in, very good value for money no
Staff very welcoming and providing useful information, breakfast outstanding, good laocation near station
It was very convenient to downtown Skagen and it had an excellent breakfast! The owners were on site and very involved in guest care There are some wild stairs - steep and oddly shaped. Good test of balance and strength with your luggage, but the hotel staff is very helpful
good brekfast, lokation in city hard beds
General design and appearance. We were not told about the free bicycles which cost us a taxi ride.
The room was big, comfortable and clean, reasonable and pleasant bicking distance till Skagen center, very quiet and family friendly.
Excellent breakfast buffet all ground floor rooms
Beautiful room and hotel. Far too expensive. Not even Wi-Fi was included in the unreasonably high price.
This was my second visit to Skagen and my first time in a hotel. The hotel reception, superior room, bar, restaurant were excellent, clean and good quality. We reserved a superior room, it was very clean and spacious. The only comment is the hotel is approx 2-3 Kms from SKagen city center. For older visitors with limited mobility, walking or biking may not be an option, a car would be a must have. For me the walk was no problem, very enjoyable, with much to see.
The staff were so brilliant. Every single query we had was resolved instantly. I cannot fault them. We also hired bikes with the hotel which was cheap and a great way of getting round. When arriving from Aalborg on the train get off at Freideksnaj or something ie the stop before Skagen and hotel is just across the road to the right.
durty under the couch, too far from center
Swimmingpool. Familiy apartments. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and friendly atmosphere. To expencive.Outsheck to early (11 a.m.) Should have bin 12 a.m.
A very good breakfast buffet. Nice room. A bit far from the center. Expensive for the level of services and equipment
The bike rental, breakfast staff was very efficient
Modern hotel, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine. Two toilets. In fact, rather than being a room, this is a FLAT. For 6 people, one flat will be cheaper than 3 double rooms! Excellent parking Little privacy. The outdoor areas of the hotel was only asphalt.
The house is well maintained and equipped, ecellent for family holiday staying. The staffs are very helphul and friendly. It would be better if hotel offers washing powder, toiletary items, or a samll shop for guest to choose from, even at some extra cost.
Very nice hotel in good design - cleanliness was high and good location in Skagen. Walking distance to the city and habour (5 min.)
Good food, soft beds and central location.
Nice room and a great location at the end of the pedestrian zone. Cosy in the visevershus. Ok Breakfast The service at the restaurant at dinner was poor.
The fact that the room was very clean. Good situated at the 2nd floor. Breakfast was very good. There is a smell from the kitchen not too good
we were not informed that our room was impacted by the live music played downstays until 1:30 am, when we mentioned it, we was just told we should have been - no excuse received.this is room 12.
The town around the hotel. The hotel was old and not in a very good standard.
Reasonably good breakfast buffet. Easy access to and from motorway. Futuristic design. Very small rooms. No family rooms available (even though we specifically had booked one). A little bit too long walking distance to city centre.
The natural setting: wood, beach and sea. Houses are nice and plenty of space.
Fabulous set up for children with playgrounds, jumping pillow, mini golf, indoor heated pool and water slide. Apartment also well set up with good kitchen, living area and bedrooms. I would have liked more hot water for a longer shower.
We have three children aged 11, 12 and 13, and this was super for them, and us as parents. Lots of things to do! Helpful staff, and nice surroundings. We will recomend this place to our friends.
Great place for families. Waterpark, jumping pillows, tennis, indoor badminton, minigolf and much more made this a hit with my family. Also walking distance to a great beach. Having to pay cash with a money transfer prior to arriving at the hotel.
A helpful receptionist, a spacious and comfortable room, a plenty of power plugs, good breakfast, a very nice dining-room, placed in the centre of the town. No internet, missing wall mounted coat rack, the shower needs a bit more cleaning, a bit noisy from the nearby factory, a bit too expensive.
The Hotel is close to the beach and close to the city. They did not take International cards . We had to go to a mini bank to get cash to pay the bill. That goes for all the guests.
Historic Inn in picturesque beach town within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very good breakfast buffet. Price was very good compared to other hotels in same area.Room was very quiet and comfortable. Simply furnished - not luxurious but well cared-for. Fish factory and other dock buildings made immediate surroundings feel a bit industrial as opposed to "charming". Lovely old bar was not open at night.
The hotel was nice, the room was quite big for being a single room, and it was on the way to the beach but near the centre too.
We liked the quietness and peace. The friendly staff and the good food and wine. A bit spartan and not being able to use blinds. The light came too early and kept us awake from 4 o'clock in the morning.
Great location, beautiful surroundings, beach nearby, quiet
We liked the location and the garden We had booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one, 3rd August. We cancelled because our room smelled bad, and there were stains on the cushions. The hotel is very old and so it was very noisy- we could hear the conversation in the next room and did not get much sleep. The views from our room were lovely however. The food was very poor value for money, and the waiting staff in the restaurant were not able to cope, and seemed poorly trained. We ordered the Vegatable Cassoulet and the Creme Brulee. The Cassoulet was a large plate of white beans cooked in tomato, with no variety in taste or appearance. . The creme brulee was very small and not crunchy on top, though it was presented prettily. Breakfast was disappointing
We wanted countryside and closeness of beach, the latter was not really true Too basic for this price, e.g.no hairdrier
Truly excellent location, lovely room with a balcony and a view. 10 minute walk to beautiful beach and the sea. Good food but limited menu and small portions. Request for extra bread was viewed not very favourably ! Wine extortionally expensive, 440 Kr for a bottle of Shiraz
We liked the style of the hotel and the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spartan
Old style atmosphere. Feeling like a 19th traveller.
