Very slow process in picking car up. Our agent was very helpful but it didn't look as though the other two agents were doing much of anything. Awful experience with car breaking down and not being able to reach anyone at roadside assistance, or customer service AT ALL. Stranded in the middle of nowhere & had to make our own way back to Paris.. distressed am spending hundreds of extra $$$ to not miss a flight home. The staff at both locations for pick up and drop off, which was in Switzerland not France, were friendly. Car they provided was new. It did pull some to one side while driving but overall car was good. Staff explained France toll systems to us and we found renting a car and driving in France much more convenient than taking trains as we travelled across France. I waited 1.5 hours to pick up a car. Despite reserving an automatic, they only had a manual available until they made some calls. An hour later, we’d waited to pick up this car for 15 minutes in the garage and were certainly going to miss the event we’d reserved the car for. I tried to cancel at the desk only to be told we needed to call the company we’d booked through.
